A sweet and quirky early reader children's book! It had humor and heart and I think children will laugh out loud at many of the things in this book as I did!

I can't say as it ever would have occurred to me to make pocket lint a character. Even with that odd premise, this book works surprisingly well. The story is easy to follow and perhaps a bit predictable, but is likely to be entertaining to young readers.

It's a very basic story, like more basic than a picture book. I understand it's meant to be an easy reader, but basically nothing happened.

Linty lives inside the pocket of an old pair of jeans.
His routine remains pretty much the same every day.
Waking up, working out, sightseeing inside the big pocket that he is in and solo Marco Polo.

But one day, a boy wears the jeans that he is in and, naturally, he begins moving upside-down. And as if that wasn't enough, the boy starts stuffing things inside the pockets. Such as a lollipop, an eraser etc.

At first, Linty is overwhelmed and kind of afraid of his new surroundings/co-habitants.
But as he begins to know them better, he realizes that his life is much better now that he has friends and is not alone.

At the end of the story, Linty not only learns that having friends is a good thing , but also, how he can go on adventures without putting himself in danger.

This is a cute children's book. And most importantly, a very creative one, given the fact that the main character is literally a piece of lint.

The illustrations are very good and vibrant and I like the message of the story: Find friends and have fun, but be careful when you sense danger.

And even tho this is a children's book, I believe adults will have fun reading it as well.

An interesting, but a little odd story. Linty is used to living a very basic life but then has new friends join him. Will he be able to go back to the way things were once his friends are gone or will he bring himself to explore the world?

I'm not crying, you're crying. Why is this so cute?! Some inanimate objects tugging on your heartstrings, no big deal. And a learning lesson sprinkled in!

Such a cute and enjoyable read. For sure it can be used to read it out loud to kids of any ages.
Linty lives inside a pocket and he is blue and alone. After he “receives” some visitors he realizes that life can be more than the routine he was having until that moment. Children can learn how to be open to change, to making friends and enjoying the new adventures and challenges life makes them face.

Such a cute story! Somehow it was different than what I expected and involved much less physical adventure but an adorable read overall.

An incredibly descriptive story from the beginning and a happy book and most importantly there was an encouragement in exercising through play and the game of Marco Polo. Linty experienced dayafterdayafterday. Pants dance. and Linty rattled and bounced and shook and jiggled. Along with the new friends, Acorn, Lollipop. Lunch were having fun and he has someone to play Marco Polo with, most importantly was the lesson about was day and the necessary of empty pockets on was day. Linty was a charming little story that was fun for all age.

Linty's a fluffy ball of, you guessed it - lint. Though he's pretty content with his routine, his world is actually kind of blue. (D'uh - he lives inside a pocket.) Then one day some visitors clue him in to the bigger picture going on outside his enclosed world.

This is a terrific tale, told with more than a dusting of humor. I laughed out loud plenty of times. I loved this one, and I suspect kids will too.

This is a run-of-the-mill book about friendship, told from a unique perspective. The story cycles through relatable feelings such as monotony, boredom, and discovery but, as a reader, I did not find it that easy to connect with Linty’s experiences. The illustrations were rather ordinary, save the scene where he sees the greater “world” to explore. This graphic novel is perfectly readable and suitable for an emergent reader demographic, but it is not one I would be racing to add to my shelves.

This adorable beginner's graphic novel is a perfect first graphic novel for young readers. It is a heart warming story with fun characters and a great message about friendship and trying new things. Teachers and librarians: this would be such a fun book to use in a lesson or a story time about being brave and making friends. Beginning readers will enjoy the patterns of the story and this will help them find success in reading or following along. The illustrations are fun, clean and clever. They would invite our youngest of readers to "read" on their own with only the pictures. Linty's friendships with all kinds of fun, everyday objects make for a fun read. Who doesn't want to root for a piece of Lint with fun facial expressions (his lips!!), cardio workouts, and a lot of heart?

Linty: A Pocketful of Adventure was a funny book filled with so many zany characters. Linty led such a peaceful life until his space started filling up with new friends who taught him how to have fun with others. It was pretty sad when everyone left the pocket on Wash Day but it was awesome that Linty figured out how to find his new found friends in the end. Linty was a fantastic book for young readers and the illustrations were wonderfully done. An absolute joy to read!

Let's be honest, the only reason I requested this book is because I fell in love with the cover. I mean, a graphic novel called Linty featuring the cutest piece of lint I have ever seen? Yes, I'm requesting the heck out of that. When I saw I was approved to read an advanced copy of this, I immediately downloaded my copy and read it during my planning period at school. It was the perfect thing to decompress my brain after a long day of administering state testing.

The first thing you should know about this book is that this is a beginner's graphic novel. It comes in at a mere 68 pages and some of the pages are extremely limited in the amount of text it includes. I did not realize this (but I should have known, really) so I found myself at the end of the book swiping for more and being sad that it was already over. The illustrations are really cute and the colors are spot on as well. I especially loved when the various characters played Marco Polo and got really into enunciating the "o" sound in Marco. Those lips!

This is a really solid graphic novel for kids who are just getting into graphic novels. While it lacked in length for this adult reader, it makes up for in heart. Linty is a character that I'm sure will pop up in my brain randomly for some time to come.

I read this book with my boys ages 10 and 8. They loved this book. They loved the adventures of Linty. They wanted to know what Lint looked like and they definitely had to see the trap in the dryer. Their new favorite game is Marco Polo. They even wondered if they had a little linty in their pockets.

I loved the imagination that was ignited with my boys. This is definitely a book that will be re-read in our house. The artwork was amazing and so much fun.
