I really wanted to like this book but it took forever to develop. The cover promised me an exquisite romance but unfortunately it was more a journey of self actualization for the heroine and hero with a little dash of romance.
I admire Kuni for desperately looking for a way to achieve her goal to be a guard and she was so single minded about it. I liked Graham more as the heroine because he was more flexible, a bit funny but good hearted. I just wanted WAY MORE heat, obvious shows of chemistry and passion between Graham and Kuni. The author did a great job of building the characters and their history so if you like more historical fiction than romance, I definitely refined this book.
This family and world is one of my favourites! So glad to be back with the Wild Wynchesters! As always, Ridley covers sensitive topics and diversity with such care. I just loved these characters so much. Found family is truly a wonderful thing to read about!
This was a DNF. Very disappointed. I tried twice with the ebook and it did not pull me in., I waited until audio was released and got no further.
I did not enjoy this book as much as the first two in the series, but it was still a fun read. I didn't really feel that much chemistry between the two main characters. It felt a little long. Overall, It was good.
Thanks to Netgalley and Forever for the ARC of this!
I am in love with the whole Wynchester family and seeing Kuni fall in love with them too was a treat. Also the cover is gorgeous! I can’t wait to see more of this family.
It pains me that I didn't like Nobody's Princess, but this book is Erica Ridley's first real misstep for me in some time.
I have been waiting for Graham Wynchester's book every since I started reading this series, so the fact that I didn't enjoy it is a real let down. First of all, I knew to keep my sense of "historical accurate" way buried deep in my closet because this series takes a lot of liberties with British society and history. I really don't mind that much, especially when we get two Black MCs in a historical romance (YES), but nothing about this book even remotely rang true to any sort of reality. Each character, even the side characters, felt like a parody. No one felt real or acted real. They were like caricatures, which I didn't enjoy.
I also think this book lacked in chemistry between the two MCs. I didn't get much of a connection there, which was very disappointing.
The book felt too long, the characters didn't work, and I was really bored while reading it. I wish I could give it more stars, but I can't.
🌟 3/5 🌟
I really love the Wynchester family... and I was excitednfor Grahams book. But this well fell flat.
The romance felt like it wasn't a priority within the story. It was the heist first, sibling hyjinks and then the romance. Whenever it was mentioned that they were flirting I had to remind myself that Kuni and Graham were romantic interests. The chemistry was really lacking unfortunately.
Nobody’s Princess is a captivating, romantic, fun and beautiful tale. The whole book is very well written, fast paced and a thrilling read of intense, raw emotions, powerful drama, and unconditional love. The Wynchester's are endearing, sweet and Nobody's Princess is filled with wonderful and tender moments.
Bravo Erica Ridley for writing such diverse romance novels.

NOBODY'S PRINCESS is another charming love story from Erica Ridley. This family has so much love, friendship, banter, and desire to help others. Kuni and Graham are drawn to each other, even though they both know their relationship has an expiration date. Graham’s the first person to see Kuni for who she is and whom she wants to become. The Wynchester family business of helping those in need ties this series together. I can’t wait to see what happens next in this family saga.
I am so sad to say that this book was kind of meh for me. I was really looking forward to it considering how much I loved the previous two books and how much I was looking forward to Graham's book. Unfortunately, some of the spark from the previous books was missing. The Winchesters were great as always, and I loved Kuni and Graham. I just did not feel they had as much chemistry, and part of that was the fact that they spent so much time apart in the book. This book was a lot slower than the others, and the pacing was off. I am also noticing the theme of the series is the Winchesters finding partners who are lonely/have bad families, and it's making the books start to feel a bit repetitive. I am still looking forward to the rest of the books though, and I hope this was just a fluke.
The Wynchester clan is one of the funnest groups to spend time with, so readers couldn't choose more wisely. Kuni will be a great addition to this family, and it will be exciting to see her contributions to the family's social justice missions in future installments. Can't wait to read the next!
I really enjoyed Graham and Kuni's story. It was so much fun watching Kuni join the adventures of the Wynchesters and really come into her own.
Erica Ridley delivers another delightful Winchester family adventure. This time, Graham takes the spotlight. He's the gatherer of information, the planner, the de facto leader now that Chloe is married and a duchess and all that. He deduces that someone is in danger from coded messages in the newspaper, and he tracks her down--Kunigunde de Heusch. But she isn't exactly a damsel in distress. She has trained alongside the royal guardsmen of her home country of Balcovia, and her dream is to become the first guardsWOMAN. But to do that, she has to prove herself, and that's what she's in London doing. Proving herself. Gathering information. Seriously, she and Graham are a match made in intelligence heaven.
They butt heads at first (she is NOT a princess in need of rescue), but Kuni can't help but start to feel like one of the family as she's invited to join the Winchesters on their adventures. But belonging comes with a cost--and she has to decide if it's one she can pay.
Each book Ridley writes makes me fall a little deeper in love with the delightfully eccentric Winchester family. Each member is so remarkably unique and memorable, which makes this entire series a favorite of mine. I look forward to each new installment like it's Christmas morning. It can't get here soon enough.
Thank you thank you thank you to Forever Pub for my advance review copy!!
A Fun, Wild, Wynchester Adventure
You can’t help but fall in love with the Wit and charm of this story. Graham thinks he is rescuing a princess, but when he finds Kuni, Graham finds someone much more precious than a princess. Can Kuni and Graham find a way to be together despite the ocean that separates them? Before we find the answer to that question, we go on a fun and wild adventure with the Wynchesters, who make Kuni a part of their family. The Wynchesters have a way of embracing those who need them, and even though Kuni does not think she needs them, they made her theirs. Can she leave them behind? This is a lighthearted Regency romance, but it also addresses more serious issues like poverty and greed. The Wynchesters are always on a mission to help those in need. I enjoyed the story and would recommend it to those who like lighthearted Regency romance with humor.
Not the romance being a side plot 😭😭😭 I will say that Kuni and Graham’s relationship was featured quite a bit in the first half, but by 50% in it was absolutely overshadowed by the Wynchester related plot. They don’t even do anything more than kiss until 86% in 💀 There were also a few romantic moments that the reader was told about but we didn’t actually experience, which is a bit disappointing.
My issues with the romance aside, I was really enjoying the story for the most part because I adore the Wynchester siblings with my whole heart. However, I’m not sure if the pacing slowed or what, but I found myself getting a bit bored by about 60% in.
Overall, this story had so much potential, but Ridley focused far too much on plot elements that had nothing to do with the romance. What a shame.

Kunigunde de Heusch has always dreamed of being a royal guard of Balcovia like her brothers, father and her line of grandfathers before her. She comes with her brothers to check england out and find the risks so when the princess she serves will be save. Graham Wynchester has always wanted to meet a princess which he thinks he found by deciphers a series of coded messages in the scandal sheets, The Wynchesters have always helped people who needs help no matter what which is what Graham thinks Kunigunde needs help. This book was interesting with Kunigunde meeting each of Graham's brothers and sisters.I just reviewed Nobody's Princess by Erica Ridley. #NobodysPrincessWildWynchestersEricaRidley #NetGalley

Before I was even halfway through this book, I realized that I loved it well enough that I'm going to promptly hunt down copies of all the others in the series and read them in sequence. Loved the family, loved the individual characters, and can't wait to see what comes next.
It was a charming love story. However, i only gave three stars because it wasn't as entretaining for me as other Erica Ridley's books. The love story, in my opinion, was a little bit slow. And the whole "workers' rights" part was kinda heavy (but the costume part and play-pretend was so much better!) Definitely looking forward to read more Wynchesters' books.
I absolutely loved this book. Kunigunde and Graham were just so special. This was the first Erica Ridley I've read, but you can bet I'm going back and reading the rest of the Wynchesters' stories. The shenanigans, the found family, it's everything I look for in a good read, the romance was a plus too. Will definitely be recommending this book to others.
Some books are just fun, and I had a smile on my face all throughout Nobody’s Princess.
Graham is the de-facto head of the sprawling Wynchester clan, a family of good-doers who are following in the footsteps of their recently deceased adoptive father, Baron Vanderbean. Graham’s siblings love to tease him for his obsession with royalty, so no one is surprised when he uses his network of London informants to figure out that an escaped foreign Princess is in London, and she clearly needs Graham to rescue her. He’d been training his whole life to rescue a damsel in distress, but unfortunately for him Kunigunde is a lady in waiting, not a princess. And she has no interest in being rescued.
Independent Kuni is the only girl from a family where all the men have served in the royal guard of the small abolitionist European country of Balcovia. But their progressive attitude doesn’t extend to women. Kuni dreams of joining her brothers in the guard instead of marrying a minor royal. She seizes a chance to be taken seriously and stows away on a reconnaissance trip to England, staying one step ahead of her brothers along the way.
An almost-princess would be tempting enough to Graham, but one who needs help…that’s the best catnip. Kuni is pragmatic enough to accept Graham’s offer to help her stay under her brother’s radar by moving into his family home. But she didn’t expect to fall in love with his siblings. And she definitely didn’t expect to find him so tempting.
I’m a sucker for a seemingly insurmountable obstacle to luv, and Kuni and Graham have a doozy. She’s spent her life training to be a guard in Balcovia, and dreams of showing little girls that careers are possible for them too. But Graham has devoted his life to fighting injustice in England. They’re both fiercely committed to their life’s work…but in different countries. I was very invested in seeing how the book would solve this problem! I couldn’t figure out how this was going to work.
