Oh how I love the Wynchesters! I really want to be an honorary one! I didn’t love this as much as Tommy and Philippa’s story but I still thoroughly enjoyed it! I really liked Kuni and how strong and independent she was. I love how welcoming and caring the Wynchesters are and how thoroughly they brought Kuni into their fold. It was really great to see how she formed friendships with his siblings. I love this found family!

Graham and Kuni had more of a slow burn relationship but it was worth it in the end. I absolutely loved the ending and how they ended up together. I really appreciated the decision Kuni came to about helping others instead of the Royals. I’m sure it’d be nearly impossible to leave the Wynchesters once you’ve spent time with them.

The third book in the Wild Wynchesters series another great story. This is Graham Wynchester and Kunigunde de Heusch's story, that so far is my favorite in this series. I enjoyed seeing these two slowly make their way to a happy ending. She was one strong woman and he was just the man she needed in her life. I would recommend. I received a copy of this book via NetGalley and am voluntarily leaving a review

I have been looking forward to Graham Wynchester's story since the start of this series. It did not disappoint although it felt a little padded for length at times in the middle. The story is full of strong individuals with a sense of justice and looking out for others. If you need a solution to a problem, the Wynchester family will come to your aide, especially if you don't have any money. In this case Graham comes to Kuni's rescue one night when she's evading her brothers. We also have a case of a mill community being abused by the mill's owner. This story was delightful.

Graham has been commissioned to gather intelligence about the safety of the royal palace. With his network of contacts all over the city he's ideal for that report. While out and about one night he notices a young woman obviously trying to escape the notice of two men in foreign uniforms. He quickly comes to her aide and provides a diversion so she can get to his "safe house".

Kunigunde de Heusch is the daughter of a guardsman to Balcovian King. Her two older brothers are guardmen and she trained alongside them all her life. She is determined to be the first female guardman and be the personal protector of the princess. She's grown up with the princess and together they've had this planned. Her family has a long heritage as guardsmen. She stole away on the ship from home when her brothers set out to gather intel in preparation for the royal visit in a few months. Kuni is determined to provide her own report without help to get her foot in the door for the guard competition coming up when she returns home. She refuses Graham's help with her report but does accept the families hospitality while she's there. This starts an adventure where Kuni's plans for the future take a turn as she gets involved with the Wynchesters and their capers.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced readers copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

This is genuinely the first Erica Ridley book that I have not enjoyed.

My biggest issue was with the characterizations. For example, when we first met our ML, I hoped it was him as a younger man. He felt so immature! And then some of the others too seemed like stock characters. I liked Kuni and the family as a whole but tbh this book didn't work as a whole romance.

I needed more interactions between the leads to buy it.

Thanks to NetGalley and Erica Ridley for the ARC

I absolutely adore the Wynchester's! This family is absolute perfection and this is such a solid series about the strength of chosen family. Erica Ridley truly takes the time and care to craft each and every one of the Wynchester siblings as well as their romantic partners. Ridley's writing is fun, well paced and intriguing. The plotting is lively and keeps the family and romantic interests on their toes as they learn what working together looks like. This is definitely not a series to be missed and although it can be read as standalones, they really build the familial relationships beautifully when read in order.

In this third installment of the series, Graham Wynchester believes he must come to a royal's rescue after decoding a series of messages in the scandal sheets, but Kunigunde, who he believes is in need of rescue is no damsel in distress. Kuni has spent her life training alongside the royal guardsman with the dream of becoming the first guardswoman in her country. So Kuni has gone on a secret mission in London to prove her worth and gather information. Graham is immediately taken with Kuni and he believes in her from the start, so trying to be of help he welcomes her into his world and Kuni starts to see what true family and strength means.

Kuni is strong and passionate, she works hard and she is very capable. She knows that in order to truly prove herself that she must do everything on her own. Graham is a cinnamon roll hero with a heart of gold. He knows what truly matters in life and he is compassionate and caring and always has an open mind and heart. I love that Graham easily invites Kuni into his families sanctuary and I love that they all embrace her with open arms. I love that this family is unique, caring and always on each other's sides. They know that they are stronger as a unit and can work together to solve any problem or case that comes their way. I love that Kuni learns that having someone's help does not make a person weak or incapable but rather it is a strength and understanding to play to everyone's strengths. I love that Kuni learns that what her dreams were can morph and change depending on a situation. Kuni and Graham have a fun and light chemistry, they are both extremely attracted to the other, they both have moments of jealousy, and they both show each other that they care through their small touches and passionate kisses. I love that Graham did not want to hold Kuni back from her dreams and I love that Kuni sees that she can still live her dreams just in a different way then she first imaged.

This lovely romance plays out beautifully surrounded by the support and strength of the Wynchester clan. If you love this series, you are going to be charmed by this book, if you have not read this series you definitely should! I am so looking forward to the next installment!

It gives into whimsy at times, and the action and adventure sometimes overwhelms the love story, which was a disappointment. But it had its moments of fun!

I appreciated the takes on workers’ rights, found family, and racism.

Will Kuni sail back to Balcovia with her brothers, or will she stay in England and become Graham’s princess?

Kuni has come to London to gather intelligence for an upcoming visit to the city by the royal family of Balcovia. Actually, she sneaked onto her bothers’ ship hoping to prove her value as a Royal Guard. She wants to become to the first Royal Guardswoman. Graham, who is a bit obsessed with royalty, picks up her trail and “rescues” her from the men hunting her. She agrees to stay with the Wynchester family, mainly to keep her brothers off her trail so that she can complete her mission. She tries very hard to resist Graham, but he is taken with her and is quite persistent. While in residence, she not only meets all of the wonderful and wild Wynchesters, but manages to have an interesting adventure with every one of them. Kuni is having a wonderful time and feeling useful and appreciated. She and Graham are falling in love. Will they find their happily ever after?

The Wynchesters are a seriously funny family. They are loyal, love and take care of each other, and offer help to those who are in need, just as Bean taught them. This story is another of their exciting and entertaining adventures, and this time Graham meets his match and finds love. Great story, wonderful series, awesome characters!
I received an ARC of this book from the publisher via NetGalley. My review is voluntary.

Graham helps Kuni evade her brothers as she works to prove her worthiness to serve as a royal guard. Graham and Kuni become entangled in an effort to help textile factory workers improve conditions. As they grow closer, will Kuni give up her dreams and her home for the man she loves?

Ridley is brilliant as always at creating unique, likeable, and entertaining characters. This story is heartwarming and rollicking good fun. Don't miss it!

Thanks, NetGalley, for the ARC I received. This is my honest and voluntary review.

Kunigunda dreams of being the first female Royal Guard. Much to her family's dismay.

Graham Winchester sees the striking beauty from his home country and believes her to be a princess in need of rescuing.

And thus their fates intertwine and we get to see these two slowly fall in love with each other, share some excellent banter, and have adventures through the city.

I adore the Winchester series and this was truly a delightful addition. Graham is impossible not to love, so wholesome and sweet. And Kuni is a strong woman who fiercely chases her dreams.

They were a perfect match.

Excellent storytelling and beautifully diverse characters, this was such a fresh and unique historical romance I could not help but love.

I received an ARC for review.

I wanna start out by saying this may be one of my favorite series ever. Each new book is more fascinating and brilliant and reveals a new layer to this family that I love.

Graham. I don’t even know where to begin with this amazing, giving, loving man who still struggles a bit with seeing himself as important (or rather, wanting the world to see him as important). I adore his thoughtfulness and depth and his solid belief that the world can be made a more just and fair place.

And Kunigunde?? She is royal through and through. On strange shores, all alone, trying to fulfill a mission and her destiny, and struggling with figuring out what that really means. And knowing that other missions are just as important as her own, being willing to possibly not finish hers to find justice for theirs…I love her.

Overall, this book was brilliant and I wish I had more stars to give it. It also has a lot of fun with insults that crack me up!! I can’t wait for the next in the series to come out!!!

Another great addition those those Wild Wynchesters! If you have not read the previous two, don't miss out because they are highly entertaining!

This time there is a determined young woman, Kuni, have grabbed a ship to London to try to prove her worthiness to her family to become a Royal Guardswoman... the first. Unfortunately, she has some family on her trail.

Graham Wynchester picks up her trail and thinks she is a Royal in trouble, but he got a lot more than he bargained for!!

An entertaining addition that covers a lot of issues important to society then and even now..

What a fun read! This is the 3rd in the series but the first I’ve read, and I found it fine to dive into, plus I want to go back and read the earlier books too. The family of the Wynchesters were so brilliant and I loved their dynamics plus the found family themes.

Kuni and Graham were both great characters and I liked their romance, however my favourite elements were the interactions between the family. It was so entertaining and the adventure elements were so great and fun. I really liked the storyline and found parts of it moving.

Thanks to Netgalley and Grand Central Publishing for this E-arc in exchange for honest reviews.

All her life, Kunigunde de Heusch has prepared to serve as the first Royal Guardswoman of Balcovia, if only she would be given the chance. While taking it upon herself to complete a secret mission in London, Kuni will not be distracted or aided by anyone, even Graham Wynchester. As a member of the eclectic Wynchester family, Graham is a master intelligence gatherer and a devoted servant to anyone in need. He is also obsessed with acknowledgment by a royal. Kuni may be close with royalty but she is not a princess, and refuses Graham’s assistance. When Graham wholeheartedly respects her wishes, Kuni is shocked that his belief in her abilities rival even her own self-assuredness. However, distraction from a charming Londoner is nothing that Kuni has time for.

While the third book in the Wild Wynchester series, this is the first I have read, and I loved it! The entire Wynchester family is captivating and each member is unique and insightful! This book was much more action oriented than many historical romances, and I flew through the short chapters! This would be an excellent series for anyone wishing to test out the historical romance genre!

Thank you to Forever and Grand Central Publishing for my gifted copy of this book! I was thrilled to read and review it!
Thank you also to Netgalley for the opportunity to read and review this book!

I just adore the Wynchesters. They definitely top my list of favorite families in historical romance, and Graham's story only helped to solidify their standings on my list.

Ever since Baron Vanderbean passed and Chloe married the Duke of Faircliffe, Graham has found himself as the de facto leader of the wild Wynchester bunch. With his information gathering as important as ever, it was fun to see everything happening from Graham's POV. Previously, Graham just provided the intel for his family, but now readers got a more behind-the-scenes look at just how some of that information is obtained.

Kuni was such a good fit for Graham. In the business of information gathering herself while on an extended stay in London, Kuni was strong, intelligent, and independent. I loved that right from the beginning, Kuni fit in so well with the Wynchesters. Obviously, it's going to take someone extraordinary to catch a Wynchester's eye, but Kuni, in her pursuit of her dreams, was both mentally and physically a match for her Wynchester counterpart. I loved Philippa in The Perks of Loving a Wallflower, but Kuni is a refreshingly tomboy-ish figure that I don't normally see in historical fiction - especially as the love interest. Kuni was just as at home in a pink dress as she was scaling walls with Graham and readers just have to love a leading lady who won't back down from a Wynchester.

Throughout the story, Kuni had a brilliant storyline involving her own internal struggles. She had been raised her whole life to want something she was told she couldn't have, and it was her dream to make the impossible a reality. But then she started falling for Graham, who lived in a different country and had vastly different goals then she did. Kuni's internal debate between her old dreams (joining her brothers in the Royal Guard) and what could become her new dreams (Graham and a place within a loving and eccentric found family) was so well done. It's no easy decision, and Ridley wrote that struggle really well; Kuni's pull in both directions was almost tangible.

I loved that Kuni gave the Wynchesters another tie to their adopted guardian. Baron Vanderbean had been from Balcovia, and I loved that one of the Wynchesters fell for someone who gave them a connection to the place Bean used to call home.

Overall, I truly enjoyed Kuni and Graham's adventures and watching them slowly admit they could no longer ignore their feelings for each other. The Wynchesters always bring fun and excitement to any relationship, and Graham and Kuni's story was no exception. Nobody's Princess was a fantastic read featuring everyone's favorite acrobatic Wynchester and the one woman who can match him in both brains and talent.

3.5 stars for Nobody's Princess. We always love reading the madcap adventures of the Wynchester family a lot. This book leans in to the family's "Ocean's Eleven" style characterization: we've got the acrobatics/parkour information-gathering enthusiast (Graham), the art forger (Marjorie), the animal-obsessed trainer (Jakob), the master of disguise (Tommy).... and then we've got Kunigunde, who will become the newest member of the family (spoiler alert - she ends up marrying Graham), Independent Woman (tm) whose only goal is to follow in her father's footsteps and become a palace guard in Balcovia.

While we enjoyed the characters, the pot was a little all-over-the-place. Graham and Kuni are separated for much of the text, and even when they're in forced proximity (ten days of carriage travel and inns!) for some reason we don't get many longing glances or "accidental" touches... and not even one night of only one room. In other words, we think we would have liked this romance if only there had been more of it on page. Even though this seems like a book that would be right up our alley - low in angst, high in ridiculous energy - it just didn't hit the spot.

This objective review is based on a complimentary copy of the novel.

Who couldn’t like the Wynchesters? They are such a warm, friendly, funny family who really looks out for each other. They also do what they can to help those who need justice. Graham, lIke the rest of his family, has his own special set of skills. Graham is the information gatherer but he is also a skilled acrobat. Kuni comes from a different country and longs to be a Royal guard like the rest of the male members of her family, however she is female! I did enjoy this story, I liked how the relationship developed between Kuni and Graham. The only thing that did get me was the way Kuni kept saying how much she wanted to be a Royal Guard. I get that it was important to her but it was just too much for me. There was a heart wrenching moment, some humorous and some very satisfying moments. I particularly enjoyed the ending. I received a copy and have voluntarily reviewed it. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

This whimsical Regency romance is the third book in the Wild Wynchesters series by one of my favorite romance authors, Erica Ridley. While the stories interconnect, each book focuses on one couple and can be enjoyed on its own.

The Wynchesters are a delightful family of memorably idiosyncratic characters, all orphans adopted by a baron from Balcovia, a small foreign country. This book, and the entire Wild Wynchesters series, is populated with delightfully quirky, smart, funny characters who are each in their own way trying to do good. I adore them all.

The main characters of this story are Graham Wynchester and his perfect Balcovian match, Juffrouw Kunigunde de Heusch (Kuni). Graham is obsessed with royalty and completing a secret intelligence-gathering mission that may be just the opportunity he needs to gain recognition from the Royal Family. Kuni is visiting London on a similar intelligence-gathering mission of her own, which she believes will finally prove her worth and win her a position in the Balcovian Royal Guard. As they work together, feelings of admiration and respect and possibly even love blossom, but both remain devoted to their families and their long-term goals. Is there a way for both of them to get what they want? Are they still sure what that is?

It is always a pleasure to watch the Wynchesters engaging in wild hijinks to solve crimes and right wrongs. Kuni is a fun and interesting heroine, and although she and Graham could both be dreadfully stubborn at times, they also shared some very sweet moments. However, I don’t think the romance aspect was quite as strong as the parts of the book where Kuni got to know the various Wynchesters and joined in their escapades.

The story is told in chapters alternating between Kuni and Graham’s perspective, which worked well. I recommend this book for fans of Regency romance, rom-coms, heists, and found family.

I was provided an unproofed ARC through NetGalley that I volunteered to review.

This was a fun read, different to most historical romance I’ve read. Kuni and Graham’s story was a definite slow burn but there was enough chemistry to keep me engaged.

I loved the supporting characters and the message of the book. Definitely looking forward to more in this series.

I absolutely love this series with my whole whole heart. This book took me a bit to get into, and I couldn’t quite put my finger on it because I loved the premise, plot execution, etc. I think I was having trouble imaging Graham as an adult man! I kept thinking of him as a young kid which isn’t sexy lol. But he’s so so sweet and that’s how I kept picturing him, young and innocent.

Outside of that personal issue I had, this book is absolutely charming and delightful and I cannot wait to carry on with the series!

In this third book in The Wild Wynchesters series, Kunigunde has come from Balcovia to London. She plans on checking security issues, creating a report on them and giving it to the King in hopes that he will see she is worthy to train to become a Royal Guard. Kuni has but 40 days to complete this task.
When she runs into Graham and is in need of a diversion, she tries not to accept the help offered. Kuni feels that she needs to do this all on her own in order to impress the King. After all, there has never been a female Guard before. However, by accepting Graham's help, Kuni is able to see how life can be different than how she was raised, and that life is quite tempting.
Opinion
If you follow my reviews, you know I am a big Erica Ridley fan. This series is perhaps the most fun that I've had in her books. The Wynchesters, though having proper English titles, do not act like the stuck in the muds the rest of their peers are. They are fun, loving and willing to fight for the little man. This book follows true to form with the other two in that they are also addressing poor working conditions in factories all the while helping Kuni.
How is that an opinion? Well, I use it to point out how interesting it is to read Ridley's stories. There is always something else going on that I find can be paralleled to current affairs. I always end up thinking about what is going on around me and asking myself how the Wynchesters would handle the situation.
The story itself was my favorite in the series so far. I enjoyed reading about a princess' companion (Kuni) and the romance between her and Graham. I am certain that I will pick up the rest of the series as they come out because these books are wholesome, historical and fun romances.
Many thanks to Net Galley and Forever (Grand Central Publishing) for providing me with an ARC of this book.
