Unfortunately I could not get into this book - other readers may enjoy it more. I did not finish it in the end
A charming and fun story. Likeable characters, familiar locations and an easy read.
Many thanks to HarperCollins UK and to NetGalley for the advance copy in exchange for my honest opinion.
This book definitely brought out all the feels and all the stops. I love how funny but heartwarming it was. I will definitely be reading more from Stoneley in the future!
I was so pleased to receive an advanced copy of this book. I have read two other books by Zara Stoneley and absolutely loved them, so I was excited to read this.
Another great story focused on Millie and Joe. The authors character descriptions are so good - that’s a skill that draws the reader in and keeps them engaged. The story flowed well.
I would recommend this book to others.
Thank you NetGalley and publisher for my advanced copy of this book in exchange for an honest review 📚
I must firstly apologise for the amount of time it has taken me to provide me review of this book, my health was rather bad for quite some time, something that had me in hospital on numerous occasions and simply didnt leave me with the time I once had to do what I love most.
Unfortunately that does mean I have missed the archive date for many of these books, so It would feel unjust throwing any review together without being able to pay attention to each novel properly.
However, I am now back to reading as before and look forward to sharing my honest reviews as always going forward. I thank you f0r the patience and understanding throughout x
I couldn't put this down! Meet Me on Platform 3 made me smile and giggle into my pillow and gave me the biggest Cheshire Cat grin going. I loved the setting and the home away from home feels that are so well known to people who travel. People studying abroad will love this one!
An adorable premise with realistic, believable characters. One of the best rom coms I’ve read lately, lighthearted but with serious undertones. I would recommending to others.
A real page turner which was a delight to read. A lovely read n it was good following the story of Millie and Joe. It was heartwarming and covered some serious subjects at the same time. I found myself laughing out loud at time it was witty and very cleverly written. I am off to check out more stories from Zara.
This is a very fun "meet cute" book. Millie's career has hit rock bottom, so when she has her chance encounter with Joe, this lifts her spirits, and career. Both MC's were very well developed. I did not know this was part if of a series. This reminded me a bit of the author's novel, Hot Desk. I read this in just a couple of days.
A five star read. This is a light hearted rom - com which will have you smiling and laughing out loud. A great holiday read with brilliant believable characters. This book has a ‘sliding doors’ scenario which really engages the reader.. Millie and Joes story stays with the reader. Loved it and would recommend
Thank you to Netgalley, Harper Collins, One More Chapter and Zara Stonely for letting me read this book in exchange for an honest review
A chance meeting in a train station, instant chemistry between the characters, not exchanging details and then hoping to meet again on the platform. I love these storylines! I liked this book!
Cover: Whimsical and cute, I like it.
Another book from Zara Stoneley—I read and appreciated Hot Desk when it first came out—another romantic comedy 😀
Let’s preface this by saying that Meet Me on Platform 3 captivated me a little less than Hot Desk, probably because of the premise: a chance meeting between Millie and a mysterious, handsome guy leads to big changes in Millie’s life. Not that a basic premise is wrong, per se, and the plot is funny and upbeat. I like the interactions between Millie and Carla, just as much as the relationship she has with her mom. Stoneley is good at handling subplots with secondary characters!
First pov again, both Millie and Joe’s, but this time the I syndrome is rather prevalent, and the flows suffers because of it. On the other hand, the stream of consciousness that comes with this pov is a bit subdued, leaving more space for actions and dialogues. Well-done.
Grammar and syntax, well. Meet Me on Platform 3 doesn’t work out for me at all under that aspect. Unnecessary capitalizations to emphasize words, brackets to expand concepts, and chatspeak just cheapen a story.
3 stars on GR.
Meet Me on Platform 3 was a meet-cute romance with two very relatable leads. I really liked Millie and Joe and although it felt kind of like insta-love, their connection felt authentic. The story is very low stakes but I did like when the author went deeper with Millie getting over losing her dad. The beginning did drag a bit and I did find myself skimming at times. However, by 40 percent, the story picks up and the romantic tension builds. 3.5 out of 5 stars
A brilliant read and one I really enjoyed. The characters are loveable and varied, the plot is one that is engaging and medium paced. I found myself completely drawn into the story and enjoyed the writing style.
I love Stoneley's writing. Her books give all the feels and this one was no exception. Millie and Joe are obviously meant for one another, but it seems to be a case of right people, wrong time. The tension, ugh! So good!!
This was a charming and refreshing story. I really liked the characters and cheered for their relationship.
Many thanks to HarperCollins UK and to NetGalley for providing me with a galley in exchange for my honest opinion.
This was a very witty and a charming romantic comedy, with a slow-burn romance. I was hooked onto this since the very beginning, and overall I quite loved and enjoyed it too!
I enjoyed reading Meet Me on Platform 3 by Zara Stoneley. It was a witty ROM-COM. Happy reading!

I couldn't put this one down. Made me smile into my pillow while reading. I loved the setting and the home away from home feels that are so well known to people who travel. People studying abroad will love this one!
I enjoyed the slow-burn romance between the two main characters, and the will-they/won't-they aspect. The meet cute was lovely, and I empathised with Millie: bless her, she was seriously lacking in self confidence at the start.
A nice, gentle story.
