Special Agent Vera Taggart joins the FBI and gets to investigate a cold case of suicide bombers known as the Sons of Elijah. Dr. Seth Jacobson, a renowned psychiatrist who claims people have past lives including different genders, nationalities and can remember their past lives under hypnosis. Some of these sessions are very graphic in a sexual nature, so be prepared.

Story about a cult got my attention. I haven’t read that many but always fascinating as well as scary as to the power they have.
This story features the cult called “The Sons of Elijah”; cult members blow themselves up in crowded places and kill thousands of innocent people. They are believers of re-incarnation ~ in fact; they believe they have already been re-incarnated perhaps several times.
Our protagonist FBI Special Agent Vera Taggart had a promising career as an artist but decided to join the FBI. Her first assignment centers on “The Sons of Elijah” cult. Her goal is to stop their reign of terror.

Her investigation brings her to psychiatrist Dr. Seth Jacobson, as he specializes in helping patients remember their past. In fact, has worked with two of the Sons of Elijah’s founders before they committed terrible murders. Taggart wants to understand why these cult members turned so violent, so she agrees to undergo treatment with Dr. Jacobson.
