Very cute tale with excellent audio narration that is the right amount of peppy to keep kids engaged. I love this series!

This is a super cute adorable read! As a cat mama I loved this book. From the title to the writing everything was lovely. It really is just a fun little children’s novel that I would buy for my own book collection.

Simple and cute story about friends supporting and loving each other even when one is not at one's best.

This is such a cute book with a good lesson. I love the voices from the narrators. They made it such a fun story. This is perfect for your littles. Thank you to NetGalley and Dreamscape Media for the audio arc in exchange for my honest review.

A cute story by loved on a short drive, they enjoyed something different than fighting over the music. Hopefully something they continue to like, I'll be looking for more Hale audiobooks for those drives for short errands around town.

We have enjoyed most Shannon Hale books and this was no exception! We need to check out a physical copy now that we’ve listened to the audio. Very fun. Thanks NetGalley!

I adore reading this series with my nieces (who just happen to be obsessed with Unicorns and Kittens!) The author creates a fun and lovable environment for her characters to teach that it's okay to just be yourself, which is an important lesson for all kids to know.

The audiobook edition of this book is quite adorable to say the least. It is done with a full cast and multiple background sounds denoting the separate characters and their actions. It is lively and full of charisma. My 5 year old was enamored with Kitty-corn and the silly and meaningful conversations the best friends have with one another.
It’s an utterly sweet and heartwarming little book dealing with perceived perfection and embracing your flaws. Even when others perceive you as perfect, you may still feel sad inside and far less than wonderful. How the way you look doesn’t really matter, it’s about the friendships you keep close and the love you share. That you can always be yourself, imperfections and all, especially around your best friends. Perfect for young readers navigating the ins and outs of friendship and loving yourself.
** Thank you to Dreamscape Media for an advance audiobook edition of this book **

Pretty Perfect Kitty-Corn (Kitty-corn #2). By Shannon Hale, Narrators: Kitty Hendrix, Vikas Adam, Nikki Thomas, Hayden Bishop. 2022. Dreamscape Media. (ARC audiobook).
After an embarrassing event, Unicorn is worried that he will loose his best friend, Kitty, because he feels less than perfect. A fun narration with a full cast relaying the message that it’s okay if you are not perfect, because your friends love you just the way you are.

Thanks to NetGalley and Dreamscape Audio for the ALC of Pretty-Perfect Kitty Corn. This was a fun book to listen to with my son. He loved the first kitty corn book and enjoyed this one too. The voices are well done and the message is good for kids. It’s silly with a message and a short listen.

I listened to the audio version with my daughter and she enjoyed the story very much as she loves cats and unicorns. The narrators had clear, animated voices and my daughter understood the message about not being perfect to have friends. A cute and engaging story.
Thank you Netgalley, Dreamscape Media, narrators Kitty Hendrix, Vikas Adam, Nikki Thomas, Hayden Bishop for the opportunity to listen to this book.

The audio version of Shannon Hale’s Pretty Perfect Kitty Corn is adorable, and beautifully performed by Kitty Hendrix, Vikas Adam, Nikki Thomas, and Hayden Bishop. I love the animal sound effects in the background!
I can tell by the cover that I’m missing out on LeUyen Pham’s marvelous illustrations. Hopefully parents will purchase this audio version of Pretty Perfect Kitty Corn as an accompaniment to either the ebook or hardcover edition, I’m sure they’d go great together.
An easy to follow story of how much peer acceptance means to young kids. Unicorn has pretty good self-esteem, but the approval of his bestie carries the most weight.

This book was so cute. You can picture the kitty-corn. The narrators did a great job. My daughter loved listening to the story and her I loved watching her experience it.

When Unicorn poses for Kitty's portrait, he accidentally gets paint all over his.....bum! His friends notice and he feels embarrassed by not being perfect, but Kitty reassures him that it's no big deal and she still likes him. With his best friend by his side, he can be anything.
My kids enjoyed the story. I can always appreciate a children's book that includes an "embrace your flaws/you don't have to be perfect" message. While of course I missed the illustrations, I did like that there were multiple narrators/voices and background sounds....all of which helped it feel like an immersive experience.

Unicorn is worried he won't be as liked if he isn't perfect. but finds out that his friends love him anyway.
I listened with my daughter and she gave it a huge 5 stars. She said every part was her favorite part, and she couldn't possibly pick a favorite.

I’m a huge fan of Shannon Hale’s and LeUyen Pham’s works, so I was excited to see that their collaboration has extended to children’s picture books. They make an excellent team!
Pretty Perfect Kitty Corn is an adorable story about a unicorn who worries about not being seen as perfect by his best friend, Kitty-Corn. The message in the story is one that many sensitive and anxious young readers will relate to.
I listened to the audio version of the book, and it was fun to have a full cast of characters do the reading. I look forward to reading the story in its traditional format so I can see Pham’s wonderful illustrations.

I love the concept and intended message of this book but I don’t care for the way its was told. The language used to describe how unicorn feels about kitty is a bit too intense. It also jumps from Unicorn feeling very self conscious to completely embracing being messy after kitty simply says she likes him. I like that the author is trying to get kids to accept differences and things we see as flaws though.

Thank you to Netgalley, Dreamscape Media, and Shannon Hale for the opportunity to read and review this book. It was a very cute story! The narrator did a great job. My daughter loved this story, though she was a little disappointed there weren't any pictures and I had to explain that not all books have pictures. She's at the age where she loves unicorns, so this was right up her alley. She said the story was good and she wants the book, so that's a thumbs up for me!

I'm not sure if a painted bum was the best option for this story.
Unicorn is worried that kitty does not want to be his friend unless he is perfect.
He learns that he can be anything with his friend.
I listened to the audiobook with my little ones. They absolutely loved this book!
This is a quick and adorable story.
Narration did a great job!

I was able to listen to the audio which is a short simple story of kitty wanting to paint unicorn and unicorn dealing with an embarrassing situation. It sounded like a cute little story and I am excited to see the beautiful pictures Pham added. This could be a nice story to help children understand how to shake off embarrassing experiences.
