Thank you to NetGalley and Head of Zeus for the complimentary copy of Six Days by Dani Atkins.

Gemma has just been left standing at the altar, when her husband to be, Finn doesn't turn up.
The following six days takes us on a journey between the present and the past. In the present Finn has packed everything up and moved out of his home. His car is missing, and he is not answering or returning any calls. Finn has disappeared before, was that the precursor to this day.

Fast forward a few chapters and we have Finn's perspective. He is injured after surviving a car accident, but as he only told two people what his intentions were. No one knows where he is. Days pass and he holds on until he is found.

Gemma was right to have faith in Finn when others around her told her to give up on Finn, and that she needed to come to terms with the fact that he left her at the altar.

My thanks to NetGalley and Head Of Zeus publishers for a copy of “Six Days” for an honest review.

I hadn’t read anything by Dani Atkins before , and must admit, I was expecting a run of the mill chick lit story but I was very pleasantly surprised .
I loved this book , it was humorous, romantic , and it was full of suspense ! As I got towards the end of the book I really couldn’t put it down.
A new author to add to my list and highly recommended .

In an effort to tackle my NetGalley backlog, I've finally read this glorious book and I really regret not reading it sooner. This is only my second book by Dani Atkins after having read 'Fractured' many years ago and I now fully intend on reading some more of her work.

Gemma is about to marry the love of her life, but when Finn doesn't show up at the church it's clear that everyone thinks he's jilted her. Gemma however doesn't believe he would leave her as they've been through far too much up until this point and she's determined to find out the truth.

What follows is some truly impressive detective work on Gemma's part as she does everything in her power to find out where Finn has disappeared to and uncovers some incriminating evidence along the way. Alternating past chapters show Gemma and Finn falling in love after a very rocky start, particularly the first time they met.

I loved the way this story played out, as you start to question whether Finn would leave as you can see how much he loves Gemma; but then further chapters play out and cracks begin to show in their relationship and suddenly nothing is clear anymore. There was a real mystery to this book as well as a beautiful Romance. This isn't a typical rom-com which I really enjoyed. There were multiple layers to both the story and the characters, making for a real page turner.

I always love Dani Atkins book, they are so moving, emtional and as a reader they make me reflect on my own relationships with those around me. This book was no different! The hope and certainty the main character had knowing he would not have left her the way he did was beautiful! It was incredible seeing everything unfold and being over six days the book felt liks a true story in a way as it could have happened in real time. I did start to question if he could have survived that long after what had happened but I was so invested in their happiness and future it was something I was happy to overlook!

This what a great What If story. What if it happened to you? Would you give Finn a chance, try to find him? Or would you cut your loses and try to heal your broken heart? I found myself really rooting for Gemma and Finn. Not a typical love story, but a love story none-the-less.

The story unfolds through different timelines, but the short staves and lack of progress make it difficult to stay engaged. By the end, I found it hard to muster much interest in why Finn abandoned Gemma at the altar.

I surprisingly enjoyed this book. I have recently been spoiled with Paige Toon books so I was unsure if I would enjoy this book.

It was quite a surprising read. It is quite a lovely story about a complex relationship and I do enjoy books where relationships are not painted black and white.

There were times I felt a little bit exasperated but overall I felt Gemma and Finn were great characters although best character award goes to Hannah who added a lot of light to the story.

This is my first story by Dani Atkins but it 100% won't be the last. Thanks to NetGalley, Dani Atkins and the publishers for allowing me to read and review this great book.

Thank you to netgalley for my arc of Six Days.
I love Dani Atkins writing style and her books always stick with me so when I saw this one from her I knew I had to read it!

Im going to be honest and say I wasn't a fan of Finn from the beginning and as the story went on I was hoping Gemma would just bin him off as she deserved so much better!
But in usual Dani style the story was flipped on his head!
I can't say too much without giving spoilers but this is a must read, loved it and loved the ending.
Our song is still one of my fave reads but this one comes a close second!

I enjoyed this book and I loved following Gemma on her journey. It was filled with joy, love, laughter and occasional sadness too but I highly recommend this book even just to sit down with and relax and do nothing else until you have finished it.

Gemma knew something wasn’t right when she got to the church all dressed up in her wedding finery only to be told the groom hadn’t arrived yet and go for another slow drive around the block. Where is Finn, why isn’t he waiting for her on one of the most important days of their lives? I loved the way this book was written, so easy to get into and most importantly, continue with. But, it has to be said Finn was a very unlikeable man who thought he could get away with anything simply because of his charm and good looks. Gemma was very much a doormat who put up with him waltzing off into the sunset without much/no contact. Some of the plot was improbable too but you have to read the book to see why. Maybe it should have been Four Days, not six! Despite it being a bit long winded at times I did enjoy the book and would recommend it. Good reading on a holiday.

When Gemma is left at the altar she believes something has happened to him rather him just leaving her. She has to convince everyone. A fantastic story, well written I couldn't put it down.

This was a thrilling read from start to finish. I was reading into the small hours. There is so much hope, wonder and happiness all rolled into one. This will be one I will read again because it was so good. You must make this your summer read.

Absolutely loved this! What a fabulous read. Thoroughly enjoyed the characters and how the storyline unfolded. I'm a big fan of Dani Atkins and this, I think for me, is her best yet. It made me laugh, cry and feel good. Highly recommended and well worth the 5 stars.

Thank you Netgalley.

Been wanting to read this for a while so when I saw it was on Netgalley I kept my fingers crossed. A lovely story which takes you through a whole range of emotions. My thoughts on Finn and his disappearing act changed several times. Loved the flashbacks to the start of their relationship. Dani certainly knows how to write great stories.

Gemma loves Finn and she knows he loves her, so why hasn’t he turned up at the church to marry her?

I loved this story and was routing for our heroine all the way through. This author knows exactly what her readers expect from her books and never fails to deliver. We are talking characters you can really believe in, romance, heartbreak but most important of all the TWIST!

It is these shocking twists that can change the whole meaning of her books that makes Dani Atkins one of my go to authors.

I am sure I am not the only one who is counting down the months until her next book hits the shelves.
