This was intense!! It starts out with so much angst and pain. My heart was aching for Bailey and the loss she was dealing with. I loved how Kash was right beside her, giving her what she needed and ensuring that the rest of the family was doing the same when the situation merited it. I love him even more for his responses!
What followed took me completely by surprise. I was not expecting much of what happened and I could not look away. Soon I was so caught up in it all that I was turning the pages as quickly as possible.
This is filled with twists and turns and more punch than I ever expected! What a great read in every way!
A GREAT ending to a trilogy that chock full of suspense and surprises. You cheer for the good "bad" guys. I loved how Bailey, despite being mired in her youth and all the hits that just seem to keep on coming, finds her strength and the ability to pull off a larger than life take down. This one was not as super, super steamy as the first two (but it was still super steamy lol), but focused on the plot which I absolutely adored. Thank you NetGalley for the opportunity to review Tijan. Now I need to put all her books on my TBR because this series was so good!
The Revenge is the third book in The Insiders Trilogy and is a sexy, explosive conclusion. The story was enthralling, with lots of action and intrigue. This whole series has been a captivating read because each book pulls you in, and you can't wait to turn the page to see what happens next. There is no dull moment ever. Let's just say Bailey and Kash’s journey is something no one should miss.
The Revenge - Tijan
Once again Tijan has hit another home run. The conclusion to The Insider's series is filled with twists and turns that you won't see coming.
Tijan has a way with character development that, as a reader, you're genuinely invested.
The Revenge is the rollercoaster ride you were not expecting. It dips, flips and turns you upside down. If you're expecting you know what is going on after The Damaged, you're mistaken. Buckle up buttercup, you're in for a bumpy ride.
Bailey, our heroine is just so unique. A true genius, quirky and an interesting character to read about. Her relationship with Kash just works. This is an opposites attract moment. Kash just hits all the right notes as the hero. Overly protective alpha and danger-danger vibes equate to a sexy male lead. What I loved the most? He wasn't blatantly over the top. He made mistakes and that's when Tijan's magic really comes to life, the believability of her characters.
This last book is the, I can finally breath again book. Is it? You will find tons of angst, drama, betrayal, more suspense, revelations and creative plot twists. I did experience a few gasping moments, asking with my heart pumping fast. Those are sure signs of a page-turning experience.
I know, I know.....but what's the steam factor? It's good, very good. Tijan never disappoints.
Bailey and Kash forever ❤️

I loved this series and loved the book. However to enjoy this book you have to start at the beginning, there is just too much not to read them all.. I feels good to complete a series with the final book at the same level as the first two in a trilogy. The series continues a few weeks after the last one ended. I loved how Tijan handled her disconnect while grieving with Kash POV and some insight to where Bailey was. I was a little worried the third book would only feature angst between Bailey and Kash with her blaming him for everything. This is not the case! The theme is there but not how I was expecting and I loved it. The book stayed fast paced, lots of action, and nothing was dragged out.
After the devastating events in The Damaged, Bailey is left a shell of herself. With a photographic memory, she's constantly reliving the trauma and can't come out of it. Her PTSD has taken a toll on her mental health as she struggles to continue to move forward. There are some twists thrown in that I didn't see coming! I also love the family connection between Bailey and her half siblings. Despite everything, they are all there for each other and never saw the other as competition or as a threat even when Bailey was thrown into a life of luxury. However, it also comes with many different types of threats. People who will go to any length to bring them down, but why?
"Grief was a cycling tornado. It hit and it hit hard. It left a trail to recuperate afterwards. You recuperated, and then it swung back again for destruction."
The Revenge, the third book of The Insiders trilogy starts with Bailey struggling to come to terms with witnessing the murder of her mother and with finding out the true identity of her father. Meanwhile, Kash was on a mission to search for and kill his grandfather, a man of pure evil. Throughout it all, his love for Bailey never faltered and continued to burn with a fierce passion. She had always been his weakness and that drove everything he did.
While I would recommend reading this as a full trilogy, I haven't read the others in the series and I was able to catch myself up to speed with everything going on. And there were so many layers to unravel. Fast paced, this book was full of danger and intrigue, with unexpected twists and turns at every corner, each unveiling secrets and lies. Control and power battled with the fight for freedom as alliances and allegiances were formed. Who could be trusted? More importantly, could the love between Bailey and Kash survive all the challenges and threats thrown their way?
Throughout the suspense and the often surprising turn of events, the love between Bailey and Kash never lost steam. I loved how they could really see each other deep down into their souls, breaking down walls and letting the intensity of their love shine through. There was a perfect amount of angst and I never doubted this couple belonged together. I was so drawn to Kash, intimidating and dangerous with the power to kill if necessary, yet exposing vulnerability when it came to Bailey. I could feel the depth of Bailey's emotions and pain as she worked through her grief to find her way back to being herself again. I loved her relationships with her siblings and would have liked to see that explored even more. Her brother Matt was such a great character and was one of my favorite people throughout. I would love to see him get his own story. And her sister Seraphina was just so sweet and loving and she pulled at my heartstrings.
The first part of the story moved somewhat slowly for me, perhaps since I was learning what I had missed in the previous two books. I wasn't sure I wanted to continue reading but the last third was a roller coaster of suspense and I was loving every minute of it. I was blown away by some of the things that were happening and the book was written well so I read this faster than expected. I did feel as if the suspense overshadowed the romance but maybe it was developed more thoroughly earlier in the trilogy. The focus here was instead aimed at what people would do and the choices they would make to protect those they love and that was such a great message to send out, making this book an overall enjoyable read.

Tijan, Tijan TIJAN! Ugh what a wild ride! The gangs back together and better (well not at the start) than ever.
Usually I give you a full rundown, but I'm not giving you much of a summary here because there is just so much going on and I don't want to spoil a thing! Disaster after disaster has hit Bailey, Kash and their family. Will Kash finally get revenge and bring his grandfather's empire to the ground?! Can life in the Francis/Hayes family ever go back to some semblance of normal?
The much anticipated final book in the trilogy did not disappoint! We've got everything from the first two novels and so much more! The twists! Ah the twists. Theres plenty of suspense, romance, family drama and so much more. I love the fast paced plot and all the morally grey scheming. It was everything! The only negative thing I can say about this book is I didn't enjoy the epilogue. It felt too forced and tied together. It covered so much ground in so little time, without giving us much substance. Sometimes the HEA doesn't have to include the literal forever, it can just be assumed.
Thanks to the publisher for the ARC in return for an honest review. This book releases 9/13

In advance:
Reviews are always a personal opinion. Many thanks to St. Martin's Press for giving me a free review copy of the book, which in no way affects my opinion!
====================
Blurb:
Bailey and Kash were used to living in the shadows. Now they are thrust into the public eye. Together, they can do anything, but undeniable danger and seemingly insurmountable challenges threaten the love and passion that binds them.
1. Bailey is reeling from the greatest loss she has ever suffered.
2. Enemies are closing in.
3. Even bigger secrets and twists are coming to light.
Win or lose, for Bailey and Kash, everything is on the line.
====================
Book/series title & cover:
'The Revenge' is part 3 (final) of the Insiders series. The books build on each other and the story only ends with this. The cover shows the protagonists Kash & Bailey and the design matches the first two books in the series.
====================
Writing style:
'The Revenge' again is a typical Tijan book. The writing style is casual, fluid, engaging and HOT as usual! 😉
====================
My conclusion:
After book 1 of 'The Insider Trilogy' (The Insiders) I wasn't sure if it wouldn't be better for me to wait until the whole series is published, but what can I say: Tijan is my favorite author and of course I couldn't wait for book 2 to release and then of course I did read it directly, and I had to wait for the next (and last) book AGAIN.
I was all the more pleased to be able to review the book 'The Revenge' - and the wait was absolutely worth it. 'The Revenge' again is a typical Tijan book. I always am fascinated how she manages to pull me into a story and take me with her. I do adore her male characters, they – mostly – are alpha males, but so kind to their women, and Kash is no exception. Both main characters are build up very well, as well as the story itself, that is, once again, very well researched and build up. The relationship between Bailey and Kash is so outstanding – just great.
Maybe I do like this trilogy so much because it takes place 'in my world' – 'cause I am an IT-specialist as well and do some programming from time to time – who knows. All I know is, that I really, really like it. I loved the unexpected plot twists as well as the dual POV storytelling. The Insiders trilogy definitely has what it takes to become one of my all-time favorites, if it hasn't already. I can not await the release day to finally get the audiobook as well - I am so looking forward to this and I will do a complet relisten then – but I am already sad as well because it’ll be over then and I can not read that story again for the first time.
In any case, I give you a clear reading recommendation for 'The Revenge' - I can hardly wait to see what Tijan will write next!

Review Title: Whack-A-Mole - the best kind!
Talk about an emotional rollercoaster - of the best kind.
Full disclosure - I did the backward thing where I read Book 3 of the Insiders Series without reading the preceding books first. I’ve also read other books by Tijan books, enough to know what I was getting myself into. So I went into this fully expecting to be Tijan’ed, and this did not disappoint.
I went in expecting to have my heart crushed, and that’s what I got.
Tijan does a great job of providing an overview of the first two books, thus catching up with readers (like myself) who hadn’t read those. I didn’t feel like I’d missed much at the start.
First, diving into Bailey’s story at the point where she is grieving the loss of her mother was a little jarring. At the same time, Kash is trying to figure out a way to take out his grandfather. However, I could tell their relationship was as raw as it was genuine and beautiful, so that balanced it out.
As the story went on, their distinct personalities shone through. Their distinct attributes that balanced each other out become front and center. I would imagine anyone getting into this series for the first time should read the trigger warnings first, as it is not for the faint of heart. But if you can make it through this emotional rollercoaster of a read, the ending is everything you hope for. So getting a glimpse into the future for these characters whom I came to love is always a plus.
Suffice it to say I will be adding the first two books to my TBR asap!
God - the plot twists. It was a bit like playing whack-a-mole. Just when I thought I had something figured out, something else gets thrown in. Again, this is the Tijan flair, so I knew to expect this. But still - the mental whiplash!!!
Suffice it to say I will be adding the first two books to my TBR ASAP!
Thank you to NetGalley and St Martin's Griffin for the ARC in exchange for an honest review. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book - all thoughts and opinions are my own.
What an epic conclusion to this trilogy!! I loved every minute of it! So many twists and turns - who's really on their side, who has pure motives - Kash and Bailey have a tough road ahead of them but what a ride!! This is definitely a trilogy that I'll be rereading for years to come! You don't want to miss this!
A Wonderful Trilogy Closer!😲💔💥💘
The Revenge (The Insiders Trilogy, #3)
I've loved everything about this trilogy.😍 The storyline & characters have been especially captivating for me. There were two huge shocks in the last book that left almost every reader breathless and shocked! I can't help feeling a bit disappointed with how those two plot twists panned out in this final book though. 😔 Tijan doesn't usually back away from anything, no matter how gritty or heart breaking, but this did feel like she pulled her punches a bit, perhaps she feared new readers wouldn't enjoy her grittier style? It was still good, I think after books like Canary, I had just been expecting more, so that's my own fault maybe?
The pace of this read was non stop, as Kash races to cut off and alienate Calhoun from any remaining allies or bolt holes. Unfortunately he's already unleashed a complete unknown onto their chess board!😲 Bailey has shut down while trying to come to terms with the trauma and grief of her Mum's murder and loss!💔 She's told Kash to end it as soon as possible, using deadly force!💥 Her siblings rally around her whilst he's away.😍 She slowly starts to re-emerge months later. Team Batt comes back with a vengeance!😂🙈
I devoured this book in one sitting. I'm quite a slow reader so it's gone last 6am that I'm writing this.👍 The writing was, of course, wonderful. I loved Matt & Bailey being together more again. The entire 'circling the wagons' to protect each other was so authentic for family. I will truly miss these characters and the world they're in but the epilogues were so fulfilling, I don't feel as bereft as I might have!🙏 I'd love ALL of the siblings to get their own books though. I feel they each have enough within their characters for at least novella's.😉
If you haven't picked up 'The Insiders Book #1' yet, what are you waiting for?🙈 There is now a completed trilogy to devour. Bailey and Kash will melt you!🌟
I'd like to thank the Publisher who supplied me with this book via NetGalley..

This book was absolutely amazing. Such an exciting conclusion to The Insiders trilogy. Tijan is a magician with words and story lines.
I have absolutely loved reading The Insiders Trilogy by Tijan and after reading the first two books, I could not wait to read the final book. So as soon as I got my hands on the final book, The Revenge, I could not wait to start reading it. I was not ready for it! I loved it. I devoured it. From the very beginning, it was a wild ride that kept me at the edge of my seat. We pick up after the events of book two and the family is devastated and worried about Bailey. For Kash, Baily is everything and he will do whatever it takes to protect those he loves. He is determined, smart and calculating. Though Bailey is grieving and feeling lost, she is ready to take on their enemy. Everything is at stake.
I do not want to give anything away or spoil the previous books, but I want to express how much I have loved this series. It was full of surprises, twists, and turns. Just as we think we have a handle on what is going on, we are slammed with something new. Kash is determined to stay two steps ahead. One thing I really loved was how the family came together. I loved not only this book, but the entire series and highly recommend it.
Happy reading!
The second I saw I could request this on Netgalley I jumped at the opportunity so thank you for that because I have been waiting impatiently for this book since I finished the last book. Tijan is one of my favorite authors and have a perfect ending to Kash and Bailey’s story and I can’t wait to re read the whole series again
I was pretty lost for the first part of this book. I feel like I would have enjoyed the book more if I had read the first books in the series.
This is the final installment in the Insiders trilogy and Tijan's first traditionally published series. I can say that the story ended with everything coming together but I also felt like some things were still left open, and there is always a but ... I can't say anything really bad but it did feel anticlimactic and quite a bit of it was filler. I did like the epilogue, I enjoyed how it all came together plus the time jump.
I received an ARC from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review
Unfortunately, this series just isn’t for me. I’m sure many people will love this, but it’s not something I’m enjoying.
The third and final book in the trilogy which should be read as such. Tijan delivers an action-packed, fast paced, romantic suspense with a few entertaining twists and turns. While the storyline keeps readers engaged with angst and some darker aspects of the criminal world, too much of the writing felt familiar. All boxes were checked for the trope, including the predicable ending. Overall, an okay read.
Thanks to #NetGalley for the ARC of #TheRevenge which was read and reviewed voluntarily.
