I grabbed this book so fast when it was available on Netgalley. Danced my way through the one click I needed to get to it. This was the conclusion of the series of Bailey and Kash. So you would definitely need to read the previous books.

I have to state that Bailey was a kick ass character in this book. I absolutely was cheering for her throughout this book. In the previous book something horrible happened to Bailey that was unforgettable. Yet, she took that experience/darkness to seek her own revenge. Her mission was to destroy Kash’s grandfather. Dear old Grandpa was pure evil. Kash was amazing as ever. I liked how he trusted and teamed up with her in this book. Their love was beautiful.. We finally meet Chase, and understand why he was important to the story. And he was a likable person that was also a bit mysterious. The great thing about it was it was all revealed towards the end of the story. Ah I loved Matt! He was a great brother and friend. I really hope he gets his own book. The other siblings didn’t get enough time in this book. Which was sad because the relationship between Bailey and her siblings was precious.

Now, to the unbelievable storyline. Which was why I couldn’t give this book five stars. There was an important storyline that didn’t make sense at all. I had too many questions and I know she tried explaining it. I still didn’t believe it. Another issue for me was the ending for grandpa. It wasn’t what I wanted for such evilness nor could I believe it either.

The epilogue was adorable and amazing. I loved how she tied everything in the end so nicely for Bailey and Kash. Overall, it was a good ending to the series. I know if you love her other books you will enjoy this one.
I received this ARC from the publisher and Netgalley in exchange for my honest review and opinion.

The Revengej by Tijan (The Insiders Trilogy #3) was freaking one phenomenal read!
And fans of the first two books are going to love this trilogy!

I devoured the first two books of this series so quickly, and I'm so sad that it has ended!
Tijan's writing style is just amazing, so interesting to read, so addicting and unputdownable!
This book left me with the biggest book hangover ever!
The Revenge has it all from love to some steamy moments with a bit of suspense.
I couldn't put it down! I didn't want to put it away!
Bailey and Kash continue their story in this compelling, fascinating book.
If you haven't experienced their story.... Stop whatever you're doing and got experience it. NOW!

An epic conclusion to an epic triology!

I REALLY enjoyed this series. Every book is five stars for me. Tijan just always does a great job of striking a perfect balance between fun, heat, and angst. I will say that I wish this book was longer- The first half felt like it dragged (just a little bit) and then when I got to the second half I felt like I flew through it. I'd have liked for the second half to be expanded more, and I would have enjoyed exploring more of a few characters (I won't say who or why because spoilers are the worst). Regardless of that little nit-pick- this book is still five stars for me. I had been waiting to read the first two books for a long time because I knew that with her writing, waiting for the final book would be torture- she's just so good at drawing you in so you HAVE to know what happens next. I'm so glad I was finally able to read all three, it was well worth the wait!

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for providing me with an ARC in exchange for an honest review!

Two words. KASHTON COLLELO. If you need one reason to read this series, it is this man. You have to experience the mesmerising and breathtaking and sexy and alpha hero epitome called Kash. The Revenge by Tijan brings the conclusion of the romantic suspense trilogy but I know Kash won't ever leave my heart.

The web is getting complex and this last book is where everything comes together. Kash has to take down his evil grandfather for once and all as the enemies are too close to people he loves. Likw Bailey Francis-Hayes. She is in shock after her mother was killed in front of her. Bailey is a shadow of her former self. Her billionaire technology genius father, her new found siblings, her special school..everything is all over the place. Kash has to protect her and fight a battle. But Bailey is slowly getting better and she refuses to stand at the sideline when Kash can use her extraordinary computer skills.

Kash is a phenomenon. Every time this man comes on the page, I swear I get goosebumps and tingles. He is all about power, authority and dominance in his professional life. People envy him and fear him. He is ruthless and merciless while dealing with his enemies and god his arrogance and confidence is such a turn on. He is just..too perfect to handle. Because this same man is obnoxiously ridiculously love his woman to the point of madness. How am I supposed to resist him? Sorry Bailey girl, you are all bada## and funny and courageous and genius..but you are no match to Kash. She was in a dark place and Kash didn't lose his patience one single time. He was soft and caring and protective and understanding. When she took stupid risks, he came in all guns blazing but he never underestimated her gift. It could have been a power imbalance but Kash made sure to drop on his knees to love his woman. A lot of moving puzzle pieces fit together to bring the ending. So many twists and so much suspense till the very last chapter that kept the story interesting. But, again, you need to read this series for Kash. He is a legendary book boyfriend.

I reviewed an early copy voluntarily through Netgalley and St. Martin's Press

This book was so great and worth the wait but after I finished reading it I’m kinda disappointed. I’m disappointed that the book was so good. I’m disappointed about the answers we didn’t get. And if you haven’t figured it out yet I’m only really disappointed that Bailey and Kash’s story is over. Tijan as always this book was phenomenal and I recommend that everyone re-read books 1 & 2 because the things that happen in this book are twists that you never saw coming or thoughts that lived in the back of your mind but you figured that you were just being super crazy and then to find out you were right to be suspicious. The Revenge is highly recommended by me. I hope in the future we get more books featuring the Francis Family & Friends because I’m curious about the rest of them especially everything mentioned in the last 15% of the book.

Final installment of Bailey and Kashton.
Action packed from beginning to end. Bailey was struggling with losing her mother and Kash is trying to figure out how to take out his grandfather. Kash finds he has twin brother who was hidden from him from his grandfather and he is not sure if he is on his side or his grandfathers.
Bailey's father's ex wife is groomed by Kash's grandfather and everyone seems to be linked to his grandfather. Kash and Bailey's love is stronger than ever and they are determined to fight his grandfather to the end.
It is action packed until the very end. I really enjoyed reading the entire series.
Thanks to St. Martin and Netgalley for ARC.

The final story in the trilogy, this thrilling adventure leaves you in shock & awe. I appreciated the quick summary from the last books cliffhanger that helped remind me of the major points. Once I got everything straight I was brought right back into their story. Bailey & Kash have the most incredible relationship. This series is one that draws you in & keeps a hold of you. I really loved all of the intrigue in this and how a *certain* new character is a mystery that must be solved. Also, when Bailey & Kash finally admit their feelings, it’s not an easy HEA, they have to fight for it.

This book was excellent. As great as the books before it. It has surprises, answers, and even more information we didn’t think we needed before. All I can say is I want more from this group of characters.

This is the conclusion to Bailey and Kash a story. There are surprises along the way that make it clear the cache his family is even more complicated than I had previously thought. Kash must deal with his grandfather and Bailey must make sure that the rest of her family is not harmed. It’s fast paced and there is suspense but we still see the relationship progressing and that they are meant to me. As always there a twist interns that just make the book more entertaining.

Bailey and Kash FINALLY finally are finally explaining us all the secrets and author done it in the best possible way!

I cannot believe that I read last book in series, because it took a little, right?.I won't lie, waiting that long for conclusion was keeping me on my toes, but suspense and romantic relationship made The Revenge really worth to wait.

Author throwing readers deeply into action, that can steal breath away. There's no mercy, and I hadn't feel bored even for a minute. There was a lot of darkness in Kash and Baliey's life and author showed perfectly evolution of their story.... and their characters.

Once the trylogy started, I wasn't convinced if I can be honest, but today after seeing author's plan ? I really recommend this title! It's not only romance, but also captivating story with big dose of suspense! The action is very intense, just like the chemistry between Bailey and Kash.

Wow! The Surprises Keep Coming In The Dramatic Conclusion To Kash & Bailey’s Angsty Trilogy. The Romantic Thriller Concludes As Bailey Struggles To Move Forward & Kash Sets About To Take Down His Grandfather. Their Story Has A Great Blend Of Mystery, Romance, & Angst. The Couple Has Fabulous Chemistry In This Exciting Final Book In The Insiders Trilogy.

This is the third nail-biting book in an angsty trilogy that follows the story of Bailey Hayes. This book goes much deeper into her beau’s story, however, and Kashton Colello has spent his life preparing for a deadly showdown with his grandfather, Calhoun Bastian, the sixth most wealthy man in the world. Bastian values money over anything – including his own family. He leads by fear. The couple’s story is a thriller. It takes Bailey from an unassuming computer genius from a small town outside of Chicago to the suddenly-privileged daughter of the iconic software titan that she idolizes. Raised by Bailey’s father, Kash has spent years avoiding the public eye and preparing for his grandfather’s wrath. When he finally steps up to take over what is rightfully his inheritance, it puts a target not only on his back but on the backs of those he loves most dearly.

FROM THE INSIDERS, BOOK ONE:

Bailey Hayes, twenty-two, has led a fairly normal life in her small hometown of Brookley about an hour outside of Chicago. Her father had died when she was small, so it was always just her and her larger-than-life single mother, who works as a nurse at the hospital. Chrissy Hayes is fiercely independent and stubborn, and while some single moms might appreciate a helping hand, Chrissy never liked handouts. The two are very close, although Chrissy’s colorful character sometimes makes Bailey feel like the adult in the relationship. Bailey had developed a love for computers while in elementary school, earning her the nickname Brainiac Bailey. Her idol is Peter Francis. Like Bailey, Peter Francis has a photographic memory. He is CEO of Phoenix Tech, a Fortune 500 company that deals in cyber security. Bailey’s dream is to one day work there. And though her hacking skills are good enough to get her a job now, her mother insists on an education. Bailey starts work on her master’s degree in three months. She plans to study information systems. And like with her undergraduate studies, she has earned a scholarship from Phoenix Tech to help pay her way.

When Bailey is accosted by a group of men in her home one evening, men who make mention of a rich father, nothing makes sense. She somehow survives the attack but soon learns that everything she knew about her late father was a lie. It is no coincidence that she has so much in common with Peter Francis since he is in fact her father. And her relation to him has now made her a target. Though her idol clearly has no interest in a relationship with her, it turns out he feels obligated to ensure her safety. Kashton Colello represents him, and he gives Bailey a choice: witness protection with her mother, or come with him, meet her siblings, and her mother can return home.

Kash’s presence seems to capture the attention of anyone in the same room with him, and Bailey is not immune to his allure. He appears to be just a few years older than her. He is commanding and exudes confidence. Still, Bailey doesn’t like being told what to do. But she already knows a considerable amount about her father’s personal life from reading about him over the years, and she doesn’t want to let the opportunity to learn more pass. Stepping into a world where money is no object is a bit of a shock, and Bailey doesn’t just feel like an outsider – she is treated like one. Her relation to Peter Francis is meant to remain a secret, so she is officially staying with Kash as his guest and a very old family friend of his.

Kash, though, is shrouded in mystery. He comes and goes without explanation, and his relationship with the Francis family is exceedingly odd. He is largely treated like family and yet sometimes oddly revered by them. He was orphaned and raised by Peter as one of his own. Bailey cannot help but be attracted to him, though his good looks and the respect he commands convince her that those feelings would not be reciprocated. Bailey knows she is no competition to the likes of Victoria and her friends. Bailey lacks the wardrobe and social standing that seem so important to the Francis family and their friends.

According to plan, Bailey’s introduction to the family as Kash’s guest gives her the opportunity to get to know her younger half-siblings, Cyclone (Curtis) and Seraphina, as well as their mother Quinn, who isn’t exactly pleased with Bailey’s presence. She also gets to know her older half-brother Matt, whose exploits she is already very well aware of thanks to his regular appearance in the gossip magazines. Her father, though, remains elusive.

As Kash works to bring down Arcane, the group responsible for her attempted kidnapping, Bailey struggles to find her place as a visitor in her own family. And as the barriers between her and Kash begin to come down, they find that their attraction to one another is too strong to deny. As the pair gets closer, though, Kash continues to harbor secrets. With the kidnappers still on the loose and without the support of her mother to help her weather the storm of uncertainty, Bailey begins to do things she never would have expected – like crying. No self-respecting Hayes woman cries.

With her heart so vulnerable with a man who seems devoted to her safety but incapable of truly opening up, Bailey bonds with her brother Matt, who parties like the tabloids suggest but is more complex than he is portrayed. Quinn makes it known that she is not thrilled with the present arrangements, and Bailey’s father seems determined to avoid her at all costs. Bailey begins to experience some breakthroughs in her new relationships, but danger waits on the horizon. This book concludes with some closure, but that doesn’t mean that the danger has all passed. It ends with a surprise as the story advances.

The story is written in first person in Bailey’s POV. I rate this book 4.5 stars.

FROM THE DAMAGED, BOOK TWO:

As book one came to a close, Bailey’s mother had taken temporary quarters at the main house in the Chesapeake Estates, and her father had finally come around. He publicly announced Bailey as his daughter at a party hosted at the estate, but that event gave Quinn, Bailey’s new stepmother, the opportunity she had been waiting for. Quinn needed to eliminate the threat she perceived that Bailey posed to her marriage and the status quo, so she arranged for a second kidnapping attempt. Kash had quickly come to her rescue, but beyond the physical damage, the damage to Bailey’s emotional well-being was very real. It left a deep imprint. Kash had moved Bailey into his city home, giving them both more privacy as she recovered. He thought they would be safe there, but when his grandfather bypassed security and showed up at his door, a new kind of fear took over. Quinn remained behind bars, but Calhoun Bastian had come to Chicago. The war between grandfather and grandson was imminent.

As this book opens, Bailey begins her first semester of graduate school at Hawking University. She has missed just one week of classes, and despite being approved for a longer leave of absence, she is desperate to return to a sense of normalcy. Technology and coding are her life, and immersing herself in her degree brings her comfort. More importantly, it helps to distract her from the memories that haunt her. She had heard her kidnappers’ plans for her, and she is desperate to bury that knowledge. Kash is concerned because she dropped her counseling after only two weeks, but she insists on moving forward with her life. Bailey remains stubborn and ever-determined to do things her way – she is a Hayes woman, after all.

Her mother continues to stay at the Chesapeake, but Bailey has been putting distance between herself and her family – both old and new. Initially, she was told to give Cyclone and Seraphina some space as they, too, underwent counseling to deal with their mother’s actions. But Bailey finds it difficult to return once she discovers that Quinn’s sister Payton has moved in to help with the children. Their likeness is uncanny, and it does not sit well with Bailey. Marie’s absence is notable, too, and it only leaves Bailey more unsettled. Matt is also upset by Marie’s mysterious absence, and he begins to spiral.

Kash has always stepped in to keep Matt out of trouble, but things seem to be changing. Kash’s role as protector of the Francis family continues, but he is stretched thin as he plots against his grandfather and embraces his love for Bailey. When his identity as one of the ten richest men in the world hits the media, it doesn’t help matters, either. People now know who he is – and who his grandfather is as well. It makes it harder for him to work under the radar. Bailey’s identity as the daughter of Peter Francis is splashed across the tabloids as well, which makes her security an even bigger challenge.

Kash begins to take over control of his inheritance as his birthday – probably his twenty-fifth – approaches. Peter has overseen some of it, but Kash is still uncovering some of his parents’ business interests. His mother was quite the businesswoman, he discovers. He takes over his father’s old office at Phoenix Tech, but Kash begins spending his evenings working out of his office at Naveah.

Naveah is Chicago’s hottest club and a hangout for Matt and his friends. Kash, too, had once been a regular. It had been run by Peter, but Kash is now stepping in to take control. Much centers around the club, which serves as Matt’s social hub. Kash’s business keeps him busy, though, and he spends a lot of time traveling. He plans to win the war against his grandfather, which means that he must stay ten steps ahead.

As Bailey continues to throw herself into her studies at Hawking University, she also begins to make new friends. She had never felt comfortable around Matt’s friends, so this is a positive change. But not everyone is welcoming, and being the daughter of Peter Francis proves to be a liability in some circumstances. When Calhoun Bastian tries to wiggle his way into her life, it becomes apparent that he has insiders. Someone has betrayed Bailey’s trust, and danger still sits at Bailey’s door.

As Kash works against the clock to stay ahead of his grandfather’s moves, he puts his relationship with Bailey at risk. They are challenged as a couple, but their biggest struggle is yet to come. As the book comes to a heart-stopping end following homecoming weekend, the plot thickens. It seems Chicago is on the brink of an all-out war, and nobody is safe.

The story is largely written in first person in Bailey’s POV. Unlike book one, Kash gets his own voice here. Nine of forty-seven chapters are in Kash’s POV. The final chapter is in Chase’s POV. I rate this book 4.5 stars.

IN THIS BOOK:

As book two came to a close, Kash made a move against his grandfather that could have put his relationship with Bailey at risk. Although he spent two years with Victoria, what they had was more of a convenience than a relationship, and while he recognized his inexperience with relationships, he yet took some steps that were highly questionable, particularly when they involved using Victoria and keeping it from Bailey. But even that proved less consequential than the events that followed his betrayal. When Matt began to spiral, Bailey provided him a distraction by way of a trip with all their friends to Colorado. The guest list was questionable, and trouble was inevitable. It showed a complete lack of judgment. But as the party weekend shifted into a family getaway with their parents and siblings, a breach of security led to tragedy, and Kash’s absence was sorely felt.

As this story opens, three weeks have passed since Bailey witnessed Chrissy’s execution. That had followed two kidnapping attempts and Kash’s betrayal, and Bailey finds herself disassociating as she tries to come to terms with the events. It eventually becomes clear that she has taken a leave of absence and has yet to finish her first semester of classes. It also becomes clear that Bastian is responsible for the hit in Colorado. Kash is torn as his need for revenge against his grandfather will necessarily take him from Bailey, who is not doing well. His grandfather is on the defense after his latest move made him a target of the law, and Kash sees the pieces falling into place as he circles his increasingly desperate grandfather.

In the meantime, the family pulls together as Quinn’s trial approaches, putting everyone on edge. But there is one big question mark that could change everything for Kash, who has been keeping a secret. He captured an intruder in his apartment – a man that, from all appearances, is Kash’s twin brother. Chase Bastian is clever and dangerous, and when he escapes, there is no way of predicting how he factors into their grandfather’s plans. There are twists and turns along the road as Kash and Bailey work to escape danger and overcome the emotional turmoil they are left with. A few surprises open the door for much joy, and the couple eventually finds a very happy ending. The epilogue is very satisfying.

Wow! The surprises keep coming in the dramatic conclusion to Kash and Bailey’s angsty story. There is a lot to wrap up here, and the story keeps you on the edge of your seat. It does take a while to get into it, however. Book two ended with a bang, and this opens up with Bailey in a dream-like state. The reader is nearly as lost as Bailey at this point. There were seemingly very pressing matters that would have followed the close of book two, so it feels like there is a disconnect when the consequences are not spelled out and do not seem to follow. Some are never even addressed. Nevertheless, the story eventually picks up and draws you in.

Some issues merit mention. *Spoilers* Victoria basically declares war in book two, and she seems to be potentially involved in Chrissy’s execution. Her declaration divided her friends from Matt, and even some of Matt’s friends seemed to be peeling off. While Kash assumes power and has the ability to make them line up, it felt as if the divide Victoria opened up was as much personal as it was about power and money. I anticipated the various families going to war in this book, and that never did happen. Further, when Victoria later downplays her feelings for Kash, it ignores her very personal reaction to his rejection, among other things. Her eventual appearance at Naveah only highlights her need to make things all about herself. There is a personality flaw at play with her that goes beyond her circumstances. That Matt’s friends fall in with her at the time felt odd without any explanation, and that Kash gave her so much attention only made him look weak – and gave her the power she always craves. Granted it served a purpose in the plot, but again, it felt wrong. She may have been a victim, but that does not excuse her bullying. She can be a victim and also unworthy of being included in their circle of friends. I did not mind learning about her story, and the context was meaningful, but I did not like seeing her behavior excused, particularly her behavior towards Bailey. Finally, there is no mention of how Victoria is cleared of suspicion for the kidnapping and the execution. I would have presumed, just like in Bailey’s second kidnapping attempt at the end of book one, that Victoria would have taken some of the blame for this. Why she seems to be involved, even in a tangential way, but is never held to account, is unclear. Even if there is no case against her legally, one might expect her associations with those responsible, as well as her proximity to the events, to have triggered some stronger feelings against her. Kash’s tolerance at times feels like an obvious betrayal to Bailey. It becomes apparent that Kash’s grandfather is responsible, but again, that does not preclude Victoria’s involvement as well. As for Quinn’s trial, Bailey would conceivable be a key witness, but she doesn’t seem to have any involvement in the case.

The ending of this story pulls it all together nicely, and I would love to see more stories grow out of this trilogy and the Francis family. Matt’s story, for one, would be a great read. There is a hint of a girl (Tory?) catching his eye, although he still seems to have wandering eyes, so maybe things have not exactly started yet between the two. Twelve-year-old Seraphina’s crush on Tony Cottweiler (roughly twenty-two), who is Matt’s friend, sets them up for an eventual age-gap, brother’s best friend romance.

Kash and Bailey’s story is full of unexpected twists and turns. While their love deepens, so do the complications that threaten their happiness. Kash is all in, but he has never been in love before. He lives in black and white, so he struggles with the grey areas. Bailey is a ticking time bomb full of buried emotions waiting to burst through. She pretends to be fine when in reality she is nothing but. Kash patiently supports her through her trauma, but there is no way to control where or when she will crash.

This book is the weakest of the trilogy, but it is still a worthwhile read. Note that I am reviewing an ARC copy, so it is possible a few things have since changed. That said, there are several instances in which one character or another does something predictably dumb and seemingly out of character. These instances obviously advance the plot, but they are distracting. This book starts out slow, but it builds to an eventful end that pulls it all together.

Kash and Bailey’s romantic thriller concludes as Bailey struggles to move forward. Kash sets about to take down his grandfather, working tirelessly in the process. The couple is tested as they are faced with danger. This book has a great blend of mystery, romance, and angst. It is intelligent and keeps you guessing. The couple has fabulous chemistry in this exciting final book in The Insiders trilogy. It is well-written. It is plot-driven. The characters are well-developed. There is much more written in Kash’s point of view in this book, giving more insight into his character, which has been rather mysterious until now. The story is told in first person. The POV alternates between Kash and Bailey. I rate this book 4.5 stars (because if you’ve read this far, you have to get through the end of this angsty trilogy).

I received an advance copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This book was amazing, what a perfect ending and wrap up for this series. As usual Bailey is one super smart, cocky, independent woman that never wants to back down and is fiercely loyal and protective of the ones she loves. Kash is sexy as ever, dangerous to anyone that dare cross him or put his loved ones in danger. I will say there are many surprises, schemes, and shockers in this book. There were many times I cried, times I swooned, and times I got angry. Just the perfect mix to keep me on the edge of my seat. The ending was the best epilogue ever. I will miss these characters.

The Revenge is a fantastic ending to this trilogy! I loved all the angst and intense emotion we get, in addition to the anxiety as we try to figure out what is really going on and how it will all be resolved. In some ways, this couldn't be more perfect in terms of what I want from my romance. Kash is caring, protective and through actions shows again and again that Bailey means everything to him, even above his own need for revenge. At the same time, they have so many things going on around them that threaten them and their chance at happiness. There were small pieces that I sort of wished had played out a little differently, but in the end it didn't matter because what you do get with Kash and Bailey eclipsed all of that.

I did not realize this was book number 3 in a series, but regardless this book was easy to follow with the book review that the author included and I loved the character dynamic and plot. The only downside is it ended with a cliffhanger. Will have to read the rest of the books in this series.

What fantastic and thrilling conclusion to The Insiders Trilogy! The Revenge was everything I hoped it would be and more. Picking up where the previous novel left off, the author takes the reader on an engaging journey full romance, suspense and intrigue.

Bailey steadfastly remained strong and very likable heroine. I admired her perseverance and adored her quirky personality. Then there is Kash who continued to endear himself to me. Swoon! The chemistry between these two was still going strong. I was also ecstatic to be reunited with all of the secondary characters. I loved the interactions between Bailey, Cash, and especially her siblings and the roles that they all play within the story.

I do feel that the book started off slow. However, once the pace of the story picked up, I was completely drawn into the story and was unable to put the book down. True to this author’s other works she does cleverly weave in twists and turns that may throw the reader for a loop. Along with the suspenseful scenes, there are some rather emotional and angst moments as well. Overall, I really enjoyed this read and it is the perfect, revengeful conclusion to this trilogy!

This was a page turner. I could tell that there were books that came before this one since they would reference stuff during this story. I hadn’t read the first or second book but this one was great. It had a lot of excitement and had a few curveballs.
