I love this book club kits! They are very usefull to generate instances of discussion after the book club readings. I LOVED that this one has the recipe, even though i doubt i'll be doing it haha.

The only thing I don't like are the trigger warnings - I guess that's just personal preference though.

This was a fun book club kit. My friends and I enjoyed all of the discusions the guide had. I didn't like the book at all but my friends I buddy read with loved it!

I love these Book Club Kits and especially the ones that include an interview with the author. This Book Club Kit was very helpful during our book club discussion. We utilized the list of questions for a deeper discussion.

I liked how this kit included content warnings for the book but if you are looking at the kit more then likely you are past the need for the content warning since you have already read it. But in the case that you look at the kit first thus would definitely be informative. This kit is mainly an author interview which is nice but not my thing. Along with the interview it has a page of discussion questions. I really enjoyed how they gave the homemade butter recipe it would be a fun interactive activity to complete. I did also like the book marks that they were included.

A wonderful addition to the novel! I really liked the additional content to supplement the book. Book club question, an interview with the author and bookmarks which adds the enjoyment and discussion points to any reader. I want one of these for every book I read! There’s also a couple of pages of recommendations of what to read afterwards for similar themed books.

Nina LaCour has quickly become one of my favorite authors this year. I absolutely adored Watch Over Me. This book had an underlying layer of both darkness and love embedded in the script. Nina LaCour is always able to pull this off without a hitch.

In this book you follow Mila who moves out of the foster care system to a farm on the coast to help with the education of a young boy and also to help with the farm and at the local farmer's market. What you are met with from there is a story of love, acceptance, and learning what it means to stand on your feet when met with both of those things.

I can't wait to see what the author writes next. A big thank you to NetGalley and We Are Bookish for allowing me to read a copy and also providing the book club guides.

This seemed to be a much more basic book club kit. The discussion questions and the long author interview was really interesting and appreciated, but the other features seemed filler (other books to read and bookmarks) or interesting but not useful (a butter recipe?). I would have loved to have seen more focus on the cover and the art and more exploration of the ghosts.

I really enjoyed this kit and highly recommend it as a supplement to your reading experience with the book!

This is such a fun, engaging book club kit! I love reading interviews with authors, and hearing about what inspired them to write their novel. The included discussion questions are perfect for encouraging deeper exploration of the book's characters and themes, the kit is easily printable/accessible and I loved how Netgalley began including on their sites. Will definitely use in the near future with my very own book club.

I absoluelty love these kits. A kit like this makes it 10x easier to prep for my discussion that month with a sort of guideline for what sort of questions can be asked on top of the author interviews. I also really enjoy the handouts that these kits provide. The book marks and even book related lists are great for patrons wanting more from the book group.

Excellent, definitely recommend! I found it very useful and I presume others will as well. I’ve never used a book kit before but I’m glad this I made this one my first.

Nina already impressed me with We Are Okay because of the warm and comforting writing. This book is the same thing. A bit heartbreaking but there is still some kind of comfort in the way she describes things.

What a helpful kit to have for this beautiful YA novel 💙

I read this book when it first came out and fell in love with it. Nina is an astonishing writing and each of her books is filled with wonderful characters and themes.

Highly recommend this kit for teachers! I printed out the kit for my students and already had a copy of the book in my class’s mini library. One student used it and was able to connect with them :) thinking of using this as a reading next school year! The authors interview was insightful and the discussion questions were great markers to critically think about the book.

This made me very excited to purchase this book. I think that creating book club kits is such a brilliant idea because many people picked up reading during the pandemic while quarantining alone at home. These will allow us to get more involved with the book community and enhance our experiences
