I really love this book club kit! It has everything. From discussion questions, to recommendations for what to read next, and even book marks! This has the makings for the perfect kit to coincide with a book club that's big or small. There's even a recipe for the Su Special from the book so that you can make something delicious for the book club. I'd definitely recommend this to someone who's a planner like me.

Casey McQuiston's One Last Stop is a fascinating tale that blends delicate romance, quirky humor, and a spice of the surreal. It is a delightful read. When August Landry, a cynical college dropout who is fixated on her mother's unresolved missing person case, meets Jane Su, an alluring punk rocker with a secret that involves being stuck on the subway and time-traveling between 1977 and 2023, her entire world is turned upside down.
Sharp and humorous, McQuiston's writing captures the essence of both Jane's exuberant energy and August's jaded appeal.

As their strange acquaintance turns into a passionate love tale, sparks fly between historical riddles and late-night subway misadventures. With its deft integration of time travel, the story takes on a new level of intrigue and raises intriguing questions about fate, free will, and the enduring power of love.

It's a celebration of acceptance and self-discovery rather than merely a romance. August gains the ability to accept her own frailties, while Jane finds courage in the LGBTQ+ community and her chosen family. The plot is made more complex and nuanced by the novel's wide range of characters and its examination of issues like generational divides and mental health.

"One Last Stop" leaves you with a warm, fuzzy feeling and a renewed appreciation for the enchantment that can be found in the most unexpected places, even on a packed subway train, even though some readers may find the ending to be a little rushed.

An endearing and fascinating adventure that will linger with you long after you turn the last page, making it the ideal read for lovers of quirky romantic comedies with a hint of the unusual.

I have never read a Book Club Kit before. This is a fantastic approach to start a conversation among readers and get their input on what to read next. There were recipes, playlists, author interviews and recommendations of similar books in this media package.
Thank you netgalley!

I really enjoyed this book club kit! I loved how interactive it was and I think it leaves a lot of room for discussion, more than a lot of discussion questions allow.
My favorite parts were the introduction letter by Casey McQuiston, the playlist to listen to based on the books, and the book recommendations similar to One Last Stop.

I love that the book is about girls in their mid-20s. you think you have an easy life, while there is a lot coming your way and you are currently experiencing a midlife crisis. It's nice that this book (I haven't read it myself yet, just the book kit) makes me feel understood and not alone, because I think I'm having a midlife crisis like that myself. This makes me really curious about the real book, which is now definitely on my TBR list!

A wonderful kit for use in our book club! I loved the inclusion of a content warning page as I love to provide these to our book club when necessary and this takes away a lot of research and pre-reading time for me.

This is the first time I've read a Book Club Kit. It's honestly genius, and I have no idea why I didn't know about these sooner. This is a great way to engage readers in discussion and help decide what the next read should be. This media kit included a recipe. I absolutely saved it because, yum!!!!

This book club kit would be the perfect companion to any book club meeting on One Last Stop. I loved the focus on LGBTQIA+ history and found family throughout this kit and I thought it was great that the questions encouraged readers to think about this book beyond just the romantic relationship. I liked the design of this book however I did feel the order could have been changed to make it more cohesive.

After reading this kit, I'm now desperate to read One Last Stop and Casey McQuiston's other novels!

I love the idea of a bookclub kit. It gives you more background about the book. It also have a free bookmark which I really love. I also enjoyed the actual book 'One Last Stop' and this kit made me appreciate it more.

I'm not a fan of Casey McQuiston - and not only because of her hate towards TS - and, in total honesty, this book threw me into a three-month reading slump.
BUT this kit is perfect for a book club session: it gives ideas for different activities, including easy but tasteful recipes that I tried and loved, and also it helps you pick up what to read next similar to this title.

I absolutely love the idea of a book club kit! I previously read this book, so when I saw this pop up, I decided to check it out! Boy, was I pleasantly surprised! This kit includes everything you might need to host a book club along with fun extras! I had expected this to be mostly discussion questions, but it also included content warnings, an author interview, book suggestions, a playlist, a fun recipe, and even printable bookmarks! As a librarian and member of multiple book clubs, I would love to utilize this type of kit both for myself AND for my other book club people!

Thank you SO much to NetGalley and the publisher for the free copy in exchange for an honest review!

This gives you an in-depth view of the author’s interview, along with additional books to read. The trigger warning, a recipe. I thought it was good
