They were in love but they broke up . Now 10 years later she is back at their hometown and she is asking him to give her back what she gave him and he refuses to give it back . Will they be able to be back together ? I loved all the group of friends . It can be read alone but it is better to have read all the series .
Thanks to netgalley and the publicer for the chance to read this book . All thoughts are mine .

i have no words. this book is so amazing so beautifully written. its a second chance romance and i have read a few of those , not gonna lie they make me wanna rip my hair off but this book it was so amazing and realistic and heart breaking. i could totally feel the pain of the characters and things they were going thorugh.

i felt like brian is me , me is brian :)). he is so caring and sweet and thoughtful. there are literally instances where i felt my heart hurting for brian i could literally feel and understand him thats how amazingly this author has written him. Darcy omg first of that is such a cute name and let me tell you darcy is an amazing female character, whatever she feels im pretty sure some of us have acutely felt it and can relate to her at many levels

the whole brood of friends at connemara is also amazing they are just what adds the perfect humour and support to this story. the lines in this story are so beautifully written i literally cried actual tears and trust me im not the kind of person who cries much. so if you wanna read a beautiful heartbreaking small town second chance romance this is your book.

I would give this book 3.5 stars.

I absolutely love all of the character development. Seriously. Kelly hasn’t simply invested in her main characters, but also the surrounding characters. I know that this isn’t her first book in this world, but it was the first book I read, and I appreciated that she’d fleshed out the Sullivan’s and Seamus’s, alongside everyone else.
I also think there were some fantastic lines and points in the book. I loved seeing Brian’s growth, specifically. Especially at the end.
Where this book lost points for me was the wordiness. I feel that it could have been condensed by a few chapters, easily, and that there were certain aspects of the plot that were drawn out, as a result. I also feel that there was a lot of repetition due to the wordiness.
Overall, a good winter read, especially if you’re interested in small towns with a whole slew of characters who simply can’t mind their own business!

Second book from this author and I would say… I’m not the biggest fan of it.

Personal Ratings : 2.95🌟

The premise had sounded interesting of two characters, Brian and Darcy who tells a painful love story and painful, the heat, the troubles, the silences and the tears that they both have been swallowing for years. They are both two individuals with nothing but resentment between them now. However again, with this author, my main problem is the writing style which I find, with so many dialogues but does not have a continuation or an explanation to it.

I would say my thoughts are just that, the family relationships, friendships and how both the characters try to make things right again was endearing, but in a sense everything felt short for me. I would be happy if it has a more explained plot and structure but overall ot felt underwhelming .

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for this copy!
