I an unable to review this title, as it was archived before I had a chance to download and read it. This feedback is only to stop this title from adversely affecting my netgalley feedback rate. If in the future I have the opportunity to read this title, I will post a proper review here.

Perfect geeky coffee table book. The theme is on point for a quick read at any page. I love the minimalist styling of the text and pictures.

Only having the electronic version, I don't know the dimensions of the book but I hope the publishers use a wider length wise square style over a rectangle style printing.

Pretty much as the title suggests, a book about a bunch of the elements and what makes them special. Hydrogen is the misfit, helium the loner, etc. Each chapter is just a couple brief pages about the given element, some facts and historical stuff. This was good, interesting. I would have liked if some of the chapters were longer, but also it was a nice book to pick up and read a bit here or there without having to commit to a huge chapter. I read an advance copy, which did not include the entire book, and I would be interested in reading more. 4 stars.

Entertaining, well researched, everything a non-fiction book should be. A certain type of nerd will love this book, like I did.
