This book is more inclusive of all eras of "extraordinary women." I loved seeing Simone Biles in this as well as a few others I have yet to hear of.
I would not recommend this for a young reader, definitely a book more suited for a middle-elementary aged reader or something used as an anthology of stories in a classroom/library display.
Finally the Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls are simplified for younger kids. The Pictures are in bold colours and show perfectly what each woman was known for. I can and will say it again and again, that i adore the Rebel Girls Series!
Thank you so much for the free ARC!
Rebel Girls Series
I absolutely ADORE this series. The artwork is gorgeous! The inspiration to be a REBEL girl & make the world a better place by dreaming big and showing examples of “girls” who took that dream & acted on it!

“This board book adaptation of the New York Times bestselling Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls introduces your little reader to the lives of extraordinary Rebel women, past and present, from around the world.”
Another adorable offering from Rebel Girls.
This board book would be perfect for those parents absolutely DONE with Pat the Bunny and The Very Hungry Caterpillar.
It’s got some of the same fantastic illustrations of some of the same fantastic women as other Rebel Girl books, but told with babies in mind.
“Margaret Hamilton used her computer skills to send astronauts to the moon.”
“Misty Copeland spun, stretched, and soared across the stage.”
“Helen Keller learned to sign and speak – and speak up for others.”
It’s never too early to introduce your babies to Extraordinary Women.
8/10
Thanks to NetGalley and Rebel Girls for this ARC.
Good night stories for rebel girls: What a beautiful little book. Featuring so many great women who changed the course of history. Clear text and beautiful illustrations. This book would be a firm favourite in households as children will listen to this bed time story and then as they learn to read they grow up remembering these great women.

God, I am so thankful to have a daughter in a time where she can be surrounded by the stories of wonderful women. And so thankful that these stories are readily available in gorgeous literature like this.
A precious addition to my child's library so that she may feel like she can also do anything she wants.
A beautiful introduction to the Rebel Girls series, this is a picture book with short descriptions of some of the women featured in other Rebel Girls books. A must-buy board book for all the little girls!
Perfect book for babies. Colourful pictures and a easy two sentence description of women from the past and present describing their achievements in simple terms.
If we are going to raise feminists and the word definitely needs feminists, then we need to start young.
Ideal children's non fiction book with rebel babies in mind from #RebelBaby
With thanks to #NetGalley for this preview read and of course Rebel Girls.
I must say that I'm in love with every single book Rebel Girls put out. I think it's a genius idea to inspire young girls to be what they want to be. Seeing these women from all different backgrounds and ages was really helpful in motivating. A book that I'll definitely read to my little one.
A beautiful book. An excellent starter book into the Rebel Girl series. Whilst my littlest is too young to understand at the moment, even at her young age she was really engaged in the illustrations and enjoyed hearing my eldest read it to her. This will be a great platform to leap from, with further details of these amazing stories in our other Rebel Girls books.
We will definitely be purchasing the physical copy of this book.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for gifting me this ARC in exchange for an honest review.
Thank you to NetGalley for this book in exchange for an honest review. It was filled with beautiful illustrations and descriptions of diverse women throughout history and their works of advocacy. I learned so much! I would definitely recommend this read for anyone at any age.
I adore this series and this new book is perfect - it’s never too early to start raising little activists!
Thanks to Netgalley and the publishers for letting me read an advance copy of this book in exchange for my honest feedback.
I don't really get why you'd make a baby book out of this concept. The little stories are what makes the Rebel Girls series tick, and that doesn't really happen in this book. The art is still very nice though, and the selection of names is very diverse, but I don't really know what a baby would get out of this.
Beautiful book filled with various illustrations and descriptions of diverse women throughout history and their accomplishments/works of advocacy.
There were a lot of women that I learned about from this collection! I love that this is now in board book format. Each of the illustrations are so uniquely drawn yet the colour palette is consistent throughout, with bright and bold colours.
I definitely recommend this one!
Thank you to NetGalley and the publishers for this Galley in exchange for an honest review.
Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls: Baby’s First Book of Extraordinary Women by Rebel Girls is a great introduction to the Rebel Girls Franchise. Geared towards young children, Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls: Baby’s First Book of Extraordinary Women tells stories of extraordinary women all over the word. Each woman is told about in 1-2 sentences and sums up the importance of each woman profiled. Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls: Baby’s First Book of Extraordinary Women is a nice book of woman empowerment and teaches everyone about important contributions women have made to society. Thank you to NetGalley and the Publisher for the opportunity to read this book. My review is also on Goodreads.
The girls in my house LOVE all of the Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls books! I wish that this book was around when my daughter was a baby. I had to wait a few years for her to really benefit from the books!
She has found her love for RBG from these books and it excites me that now girls can discover extraordinary women starting at an even younger age!
Beautiful, diverse artwork with bite-sized biographies of women and girls that everyone needs to learn about. While it's titled "Good Night Stories" you could actually read the entire thing in one sitting. Everything flows easily and it's so fun to read, that you might not want to break it up across several nights. Definitely worth picking up!
We are big fans of the Rebel girls series in our house and it was lovely to see a baby version so my youngest could get involved. Stories of some great women in here, our favourite is Amelia Earhart. The illustrations are beautiful too, highly recommend this book.
Our bedtime story, or stories tonight.
Very enjoyable and filled with a great range of diverse and inspiring women. However, It’s certainly a book that’ll last into young childhood. I would have liked to have more onomatopoeia’s as my little one is gripped by them.
This is such an inspiring and beautifully illustrated book! I love all of the short, descriptive stories about empowered women in history. This is a great addition to any child's TBR.
