This is a great introduction to the stories of these extraordinary women. It gives children a brief overview of what made them rebel girls.
I really liked it but I think it would be better to market this for small children rather than babies because toddlers won’t be able to understand this. It’s hard for them to follow when it skips to a new girl every page.

One sentence descriptions of extraordinary women throughout history accompanied by lovely illustrations. A nice jumping off point for discovering fascinating women. Colorful illustrations in a variety of styles are full of small details to notice. Very high level overview of these women's accomplishments -- pick up the original volume to complement this board book.

What an absolutely marvelous addition to the Rebel Girls line! I’ve read every single one of these, and I was thrilled to add this to the list!

This baby book is an amazing start to the wonderful books highlighting the many and varied accomplishments of women, both modern and historical, all around the world. The illustrations are bright and bold and eye catching. The text is easy to read and flows really well when read out loud.

I’m really excited to buy this book for the two baby showers coming up in my my family!

If I could gift the Rebel Girl series to each and every child, regardless of gender, I would. My oldest child had a blast reading this book to her youngest sister and brother. And when questions were asked about each of these strong women, I was able to step in with some key knowledge of my own to add context.

The illustrations are all unique and help the book stay entertaining without disrupting the flow of the book.
The book itself is easy to read and isn't so long that a younger child would lose interest.
10/10 recommend this whole series.

Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls: Baby's First Book of Extraordinary Women is a book which encourages change, empowerment and being who you are. I am a fan of the Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls series, and I found this book to be equally as inclusive, imaginative and inspiring. A variety of illustration styles are used throughout the book, from the more cartoonish to cloudy watercolour art pieces. It’s also important to highlight the writing style, with words and fonts which encourage the reader to be imaginative when reading the story out loud for a baby. I adore that this book helps show the stories of women who have empowered and who are empowering others. Thankyou to Netgalley and Rebel Girls for this DRC!

This series of books is my favorite and I love that there’s now a board book version! The stories of each girl are short but informative and the illustrations are colorful and interesting to help keep the attention of young minds.

Short. Sweet. To the point. Once again, Rebel Girls is back with another inspirational book. This time, the book is for babies. I don't have any little ones around me, but this is definitely a book that I will recommend to new moms and even preschool educators. Rebel Girls uses these books as opportunities for readers to learn and be inspired by the fearlessness, courage, strength, persistence, dedication, and impact of women.

A wonderful introduction for young children into the amazing Rebel Girls series.

Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls: Baby's First Book of Extraordinary Women is jam packed with vibrant, bite sized segments to introduce your babies and toddlers to the lives of many extraordinary women and the moments in history they impacted.

The pages are laid out in an easy to read format with wonderful colour blocking. The illustrations are elaborate and varied with art techniques.

My 4yr old and 7yr old absolutely adored this book and found it incredibly engaging. We had many great conversations stemming from the segments!
This would make a fantastic gift for any young child and would be a staple of your home library.

I was gifted a digital copy of this book in exchange for a fair and honest review.

A variety of women from different ethnicities and backgrounds and how they changed their and for some our world for the better. Some are well known, and some are not and make me want to do more research about them. Perfect for little ones. I would be willing to purchase for any little girls that will be born in my circle.

I received a copy of the book via NetGalley and am voluntarily leaving an honest review of my own thoughts and opinions.

I received an eARC copy from Rebel Girls via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls: Baby's First Book of Extraordinary Women is the perfect introduction to the world of brave, talented, extraordinary women who changed and still are changing the world we know. Two or three sentences were more than enough to bring closer all these amazing women who were successful in their fields; it is an excellent starting point for early education and setting up the right course in baby girls - dream big from the very start.

This review is for a book provided by NetGalley. I am a huge fan of the Rebel Girl's series, so this wasn't a hard sell. It has accessible language for the age. It's similar to the parent series, so it's biographical facts and stunning illustrations. However, if you are looking for a storybook it's not for you. If it's a series you already love or like introducing non-fiction to your little it's a win.

Yay! Glad there's finally a boardbook version to share with the littlest ones. I'm impressed with how much info they were able to condense down to fit this format. I also appreciate the range of women included. Thanks, Rebel Girls! Definitely one I'll keep in mind as a gift for new parents.

Great read for young readers. Teaching young readers an alternative to the princess in distress storyline.

I think this will be a lovely first book for any toddler, girl or boy to be read from. The illustrations are nice, but you would not except otherwise from Rebel Girls books. The information about the extraordinary woman on each page is short, but long enough to explain what she did or achieved ibn order to be an extraordinary woman. I think this is a great gift for any new parent of a rebel girl, or boy, to be.

Here is an entry in the popular series that is designed for the youngest children and their adults. This book and each entry is short and filled with brightly colored illustrations. A few of the women met here are Cleopatra, May Jemison, Sylvia Earle, Jane Austen, Millo Castro Zaldarriaga along with others.

This book will show children that girls can grow up to do amazing things. Hopefully, it will, in time, inspire these toddlers as they grow up.

Many thanks to NetGalley and Retbel Girls for this title. All opinions are my own.

Am so for getting girls and boys from a young age to learn how truly amazing girls are ,so loved the idea of the rebel girl series being a board book starting them from the cradle to be a rebel not a slave.

This book is compact version of the bigger featuring some truly amazing trail blazing women, each page has a really cool interesting bright and eye catching of the rebel featured with a few lines in info. This great a book for introducing little ones to factual books rather than usual baby books you see. I really liked it. Really loved the Mae Jemison page the drawing was brilliant loved the colours.

It isn’t a five star for me as the book doesn’t feature ordinal rebel girl Emily Pankhurst and as I British reader I felt some the icons where more for a American readership though this did open up some Queens I over looked.

All and all this is brilliant book for baby girls and boys alike. I bought the big hard book of this for my nieces age 10 and 13 , they loved it and have went back to it many times. I will be buying this for my younger nieces age 2 and 9 months as well as my godson age 1 as it is never to early to incite rebellion

Great book, great idea, great all round
