Another great installment of the Josie Quinn series!

I loved seeing a new side of Chief Chitwood, and the comrade of this investigative team is top notch. They’ve become such a close-knit family and it’s been fun watching these characters develop throughout the course of 14 books.

As always, Regan gives us an in-depth look at a unique and twisted case. It’s so original and so well researched that it’s impossible not to be engaged as the story unfolds.

I can’t imagine where book 15 will take us, but one thing’s for sure: I’ll be here ready and waiting for it!

Thank you to NetGalley, Bookouture, and Ms. Regan for the digital ARC!

Watch Her Disappear is book #14 in the Josie Quinn series by Lisa Regan. Ms Regan has become a masterful storyteller. She manages to give enough past information to make each story a stand alone in just a few scattered bits throughout. Watch Her Disappear gives the reader background information about the Chief and a cold case from 1994 that seems to match a current case. I want to thank NetGalley and Bookouture for an early copy to review.

This book will hook you from page one. It is book 14 in this series but can be read alone. This author manages to put so much tension, emotion and suspense in this book.

Prom night is a highlight of the teen years; beautiful dresses, smart suits, beauty parlour visits, maybe even a limo. For the young woman in the school grounds it looked to have been all that and more, much, much more. Called in to investigate, Detective Josie Quinn and her team find a distinct lack of evidence but that never stopped them before and their determination usually gets results.

Records are trawled but, when a similar investigate comes to light, it's Josie’s Chief who sees similarities with a cold case he's been quietly following for decades and a whole new world of possibilities emerge. Gradually the clues come together and the team are able to edge towards a conclusion only to discover that, cold case or not, time is finally running out.

This amazing series is now fourteen books old and still a pleasure to get lost in. Once again Lisa Regan takes something traumatic but regrettably commonplace and turns it into so much more. Missing children are often fodder for mystery writers but this version is anything but run of the mill. Once again Josie is joined by husband and colleague Lieutenant Noah Fraley along with detectives Gretchen Palmer, Finn Mettner and Chief Chitwood who gets far more of the action than usual and I enjoyed the scenes between Josie and her boss enormously.

This storyline keeps the Josie Quinn Mystery Series at its highest level and once again Ms Regan has excelled herself. Josie has become far more approachable over the last few storylines and once again this makes her far more relaxed, relatable and realistic but thank goodness just as kick-ass!

I was able to read an advanced copy of this book thanks to NetGalley and the publishers but the opinions expressed are my own. This adds a great deal to a brilliant series, takes nothing away, and is highly recommended.

What did I just read! This just shot up to my number one best read this year! I love this author and I love this series but this book was even better than expected, the best one yet. I could not put this down. The suspense started from the first page, the twists and turns were aplenty, the characters are family by now. What an incredibly well written, terrifying, stay up all night to finish book. I adored each and every character. I didn’t see the plot twists coming. I can’t rave enough about this book. Stop what your doing and go get this book. Prepare for a breakneck speed rollercoaster ride. Bonus star alert!

What a departure from the previous books. A secondary character we haven't exactly been to fond of, Chief of Police Robert Chitwood, comes front and center in the story line which by the end of the book completely has you having a much fonder opinion of him.

Chief Chitwood is always mean and gruff to those under him and when he asks Josie to his house to tell her about a similar case to the murder she is currently investigating she is surprised to say the least. This man who replaced her as Chief and has never been particularly nice to her now is entrusting her with some heavy stuff from his past.

Josie, Noah, Gretchen, Finn and Amber all throw themselves into solving both the current murder and digging into how its related to the Chief's past which turns out to be quite the twisted tale.

This is book #14 of the Josie Quinn series. Whilst part of a series, it can easily be read as a standalone book, although I would recommend reading the books in series order for better understanding of the storyline. We head back to the little American town of Denton where Josie Quinn and her team are investigating the discovery of a teenage girl’s body at the High School’s prom night. There’s not much for them to go on until secrets from Chief Chitwood’s past come tumbling out, and it looks like they may have a serial killer on their hands!

I love Josie Quinn and have followed her story right from the beginning. She’s had a tough time over the last few books, but she’s back on full form in this one with the investigation into the death of a teenage girl. The story begins right into the action, and we are held in suspense throughout whilst Josie and her team are trying to work out who the killer is. There are plenty of heart-stopping moments and I love how Josie has come back with her strong attitude and gritty determination. This book does, however, focus not so much on Josie’s problems and past, but on her boss, Chief Chitwood. We’ve known the Chief throughout the series, but this is the first time we’ve ever got to KNOW him as he has so far kept his personal life to himself. I have to admit to love seeing this side of him though, although my heart broke for him on more than one occasion.

The author takes us through a fast paced and gripping investigation which was filled with lots of red herrings and dead ends. I found myself hooked to the storyline trying to work out what was going on amongst all the lies, secrets and corruption! The characters from the previous books are all back, along with some new ones – I particularly liked Meredith Dorton and think she would make a great addition to Denton’s police force (just for future reference 😉)! Would definitely recommend!

Great book. I could not put it down. Excellent storyline, solid characters, and absolutely no lull in this one.

When it looks like there is a serial killer in Denton Josie and her team are frantically trying to find who is killing these girls. When the Cheif takes Josie to his house to show her something she is completely shocked at what he shows and tells her. Will it help her team find the next girl?

I received this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Thank you NetGalley and Bookouture for this advanced copy. I love Josie Quinn so was thrilled to receive this copy. Another great case for Josie. This book took a bunch of kidnapped girls that were dressed up and found on their 16th birthday. The suspense was amazing and kept me guessing as to who the killer was. it was nice to see Josie and her Chief develop a nice bond over this case. Great ending! Can't see where it goes in the next book.

Another great Josie Quinn case! I usually have to wait to get these from the library until right before the next one comes out, but was thrilled I was able to obtain an early copy! Glad to see Josie is finally sticking with a love interest for an extended period of time. This book begins when a girl is found dead at prom. The secrets that come out in this book where amazing. So many bad characters that actually ended up not being as bad as you thought. Great suspense, great twists, great ending!

Well Lisa Regan you did it again and kept me up late at night glued to the page trying my best to work out what the hell was happening in this fabulous read. I always knew I was going to love the book I have read all the previous books and loved them all they never get stale and quite frankly I am in awe of your crafting cleverness in producing a totally unputdownable read.
No rehash of the plot line just pick this book up if you haven’t read the previous ones please give them a go also this one can be read as a stand-alone but it’s a shame to miss meeting up with Josie Quinn, Noah and and the rest of the team , they are all a mighty fine bunch and I was thrilled we learnt more about the chief in this episode.
Brilliant characters, amazing five star plot and a superb read what more would you want, I loved it and can’t wait for the next one in the series.
My thanks to NetGalley and Bookouture for giving me the chance to read the ARC in exchange for my honest opinion.

Lisa Regan has done it again in Watch Her Disappear. This is another absolutely captivating suspense featuring Josie Quinn and her team.
This time they're working a young girl found dead at a high school prom but no one knows who she is or where she came from. As Josie and fellow detectives dive deeper into this case things take a twist that no one saw coming. Josie has her hands full trying to get information from another police department that have been covering up something for 25 years, that won't stop her. She's going to find out what secrets her own chief has been holding that put a new spin on this case.
The action in this book does not stop until the very end and then you'll be shocked.
Lisa Regan is one of the best authors I've ever read she continues to bring mystery and suspense into each story.
Do not miss this one.
I recommend you read the other Josie Quinn books in this series as well.

Thank you #Bookouture #NetGalley #WatchHerDisappear

There are some series, whether they are on tv or in books, where you feel it’s time for something new.

On the other hand, there are those where you never want them to stop.  This series is a perfect example. Book 14 and I am nowhere near to saying goodbye to these wonderful characters and amazing stories. I sincerely hope the author isn’t either. 😊

Josie and her team are facing a clever killer, leaving them next to nothing to work with. But Josie would not be Josie if she would not work hard to dig as deep as needed and do what she does best: put culprits in jail.

A cold case suddenly becomes a very hot topic and we see how Chief Chitwood comes to life. We never knew a lot about him. Well, it seems like nobody did, but we discover he is human after all.

The case they are trying to solve is so complex they have to work with other police teams to gather information.

Trauma can do a lot of things. Some people turn into baddies too, but it makes others more determined to battle the evil in the world.

I was hooked. Loved it. 5 stars

Thank you

Book 14 in the Josie Quinn Series and they just keep being better.

I really enjoyed this one because not only do we revisit our favorite characters and dive into a new crime to be solved, but we get a lot more insight into police chief Robert Chitwood. He's been in the background for a while now, kind of gruff, grunting orders, but we don't know much about him until now. In a crime similar to one he invested 25 years ago, he shares the information with his detectives and confides in Josie. In doing so, we learn about who he is, what his family is like and why he is the way he is. He's included in the investigation rather than supervising his team from the desk. So not only do we get a new crime to figure out, we get a real in depth look into who the chief is and I am here for it! Like most of the previous books, this is a fast paced read with plenty of plot twists to keep you engaged in the story.

I would not consider this book as a stand alone. For the best understanding and reading experience, you should start at the first book. Each book contains the same characters for the most part and we watch them evolve and grow in each book so you really get an experience and not just a story. Highly recommended for those of you who enjoy mystery and suspense,

Wow! What a terrific thriller. It kept me turning the pages and guessing. So many clues and a race to save a life. Now that I have thoroughly enjoyed reading Lisa Regan's latest book I need to go back and read the ones that are in my to be read pile. Glad I finally discovered her exceptional writing. Thanks to the publisher for providing a copy via NetGalley.

Another great Josie Quinn mystery! In this one, Josie and her team investigate the murder of a teenager at the prom. However, it turns out that not only did that teenager not attend the prom, but actually she had been missing for months. This leads to them a similar cold case and then a clear pattern of a serial killer. Josie and her team race to find out whodunit so they can try to save any other kidnapped girls.

Just like all the books in this series, this is another great mystery. The nice thing about these books is that even if you haven't read the previous one or any of the others, you can still follow along fine. Great series!

Wow - I am always so amazed how Lisa Regan can keep coming up with such great stories in the Josie Quinn series. They never disappoint. In this one Josie and the team get called out on a homicide on Prom Night in Denton. It's a young girl still in her prom dress. They keep running into road blocks and have a hard time finding out who she is at first. They think they may have a serial killer on hand but they are unsure. This book was geared towards the Chief and less about Josie. It was nice to find about more about his back story. It was heartbreaking and I admit I shed some tears for him. Josie and the team never give up trying to come up with leads and it finally leads to places they would have never thought it would go.

One thing I enjoy about Lisa Regan's Josie Quinn books is that they are a complete story. The book is not over in 30 minutes. They keep my interest and I have a hard time putting them down. I highly recommend for anyone that enjoys suspenseful thriller that keep you guessing till the end.

I received this book for my honest review from Netgalley.

Ready, set, run… we are off on Josie’s 14th adventure. Every time I pick up a new Josie book it’s like returning to visit old friends.
It’s prom season in Denton and Josie and team are called to East Denton High when the body of a teen girl is found at the prom. The mystery deepens when it appears the girl isn’t an East Denton student. We learn a little more about by Chief in this book as well, when it seems his past come crashing to the present with the murders of these teen girls.
If you haven’t read any of the Josie series. you are missing out. While this could be read as a stand alone I would recommend starting with the first book to get the most out of this series.
A huge thank you to Netgalley and publisher for the opportunity to read this ARC.
