Injured pro baseball player Ryan Bower returns home to small town for recovery. He immediately crashed with the librarian who suggests sexy steamy books for the book club. They are forced to work together for the town parade... They fight, banter, flirt and fall in love. I love how the writer stands up for sex positivity in books and life. :) The characters are interesting and likable. A fun, light and easy rom-com.
Thanks to the publisher for the ARC.

When the golden boy of Kissing Creek returns home to sulk after a baseball career-pausing injury, he runs into quirky librarian Sloane. There is no questioning that she and Ryan have palpable chemistry right off the bat (see what I did there) as he confronts her about her book club’s choice of dirty books. They grow closer as they’re paired together to decorate the town’s floats for the Halloween parade, but he is fully committed to returning to his baseball career, while she is ready to set down roots with someone who won’t put her second.
Kissing Games is a not quite friends to lovers romantic comedy but with unexpected depth. The banter, the wit, the sex positivity and the raw communication were incredibly refreshing. This book has the perfect amount of spice, and the characters were so easy to connect with. I adored this!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own
