Close Quarters by Cameron Curtis
Breed Thriller #4

Suspense-filled action-packed thrill-ride from beginning to end – once begun I couldn’t stop reading till the bitter end. Wow!

What I liked:
* The introduction to Breed that began this book and the way it tied into the final chapter so very well
* Breed: intriguing, lethal, intelligent, ex-military, sniper, independent contractor, hired to find a young woman last seen attacked in the Amazon jungle
* Fiadh: idealist, mission-minded, strong, healthy, wealthy, giving, true believer, seeker, follows her own internal drummer…intriguing woman
* The writing and plot
* How intense the story was
* The twists and turns
* The dark gritty parts that eventually made so much sense
* Finding out who the good and bad guys really were and what they were up to
* Seeking justice meted out to more than one
* That it seemed so very believable
* Hoping that there will be another book in the series to read soon
* All of it really except…

What I didn’t like:
* The people I was meant not to like…they were easy to dislike
* Knowing that there are people in the world that are as horrible as the ones in this story

Did I enjoy this book? Yes
Would I read more in t his series? Definitely

Thank you to NetGalley and Inkubator Books for the ARC – this is my honest review.

This book actually deals with a ongoing problem in southamerica, How the natives are being treated by the logging companies. It's not well, I can tell you that much. I sugest that you read Close Quarters by Cameron Curtis and have a suspensefilled ride through the jungles with Breed. This time he is going into the jungle to find out what happened with Fiadh Connor, her father wants to know if she is dead or alive. It will be a strange journey for Breed and lots of danger from many directions. Who can you trust? Along on his travel into the brasilian jungle are also a detachment of soldiers and the minister of the interior and of course the crew on the ship. But all is not what it seems to be. Two members of the crew dies, but was it accidental or murder? I had a really good time reading this fourth thriller about Breed and are glad I found this author. I really recommend that you check him out. I must thank@netgalley and @inkubatorbooks for giving me this advance copy of #CloseQuarters and #CameronCurtis for writing it. Out in stores March 6th
