I definitely recommend this book for readers who enjoy poetry. Mark Shepard is a new voice (to me), and I enjoyed these reflections and the use of poetic skills.

"As the click of a boot heel fills a cathedral,
so a soul may find itself equal to Eternity."

I haven't read anything by Mark Shepard before this. There were some pieces that I didn't understand the point of, but others that I really liked. I was also a little taken aback by the length and had to check that on Goodreads; the book is extremely short at 28 pages.

At the end of the day, I'd check out more by Mark Shepard!
