Thank you Netgalley for this ARC for an exchange for an honest review.
I really enjoyed this book and was very educational and interesting.
Tries to give a number of different things to bring positivity into your practice. Does mention a few times that one can't be positive all the time but tries to give ideas to help bring in the good.
An informative and life affirming book, it's full of food for thought and interesting ideas. I liked the style of writing and how the author used common ingredients in the rituals.
Highly recommended.
Many thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for this ARC, all opinions are mine
Being a Pagan is as trying a religion as any other IMO. That said sometimes life just gets people down and its hard to see the good in situations or people. This book is awesome in that it is realistic in its approach. The situations mentioned are similar to any we all face. Ms Wagoner gives guidance from a long time Pagan on how to handle life positively in easy to do ways. She talks about how her life improved with a little more positive attitude and not only that more positive actions also. Dieties are talked about which I think is very important. Asking a God or Goddess for help is discussed as well as the rituals that could be used. The ingredients used in the many activities are common and available and the rituals are direct and well written. Simple but powerful!. If you are looking to improve your life this book is the answer. I also dont feel it needed to be a Pagan to benefit from this. This book is a gem!
