The book begins with Stephen and Heather announcing their engagement. Rachel and Tully are Stephen’s daughters and are confused because he is still married to their mom. This is a twisty psychological thriller and you don’t know who to believe. I definitely recommend it!
Full of page turning suspense, this book by Sally Hepworth kept me on the edge. I really enjoy her writing and look forward to reading more books by her as well.
Loved this fun book! It was definitely suspenseful. I like the way the narrative was read, it made me wonder the whole way! I will definitely recommend it to my friends.
This book was amazing. It started out with a mystery at a wedding. I enjoyed the mystery and the character development of all the characters getting to know them. The trying to figure out the mystery and all the twist kept me on the edge of my seat. Easy 5 stars.
This book was really good, it was hard to put down! I love the narration voice, it was really good! I loved all the plot twist and definitely checking out more books by this author!!
I enjoyed this book. Sally Hepworth does a great job building suspense. I see that many people weren't happy with the ending but I was. I felt that this story had my questioning everything until the last page.
I read The Good Sister about a year ago and absolutely loved it. So when another one of her books came out I knew I had to read it right away. Let me tell you, it did not disappoint!
I do have a PSA here: this book is not a thriller, at least not in the typical sense. It is domestic suspense. A twisty family drama with a lot of depth and intrigue and a little bit of mystery too. I think going in having other expectations would be deceiving.
I enjoy Sally’s writing style and unique character studies immensely and cannot wait to read more of hers!

I loved this book!! I’ve seen mixed reviews on it and personally, I don’t understand why. This book hooked me and I listened to the audio in two days. Sally Hepworth does it best.
The narration was ok. I did find the story a bit lacking and slow at times. It was told ok, but not one of my favourite listens. There is not much suspense and at times was predictable. Overall it was an okay story.
This was another fun domestic thriller by Sally Hepworth! While the plot twists are subtle, the character development and storyline leave just enough doubt that makes me really think about how genuine they each are throughout the book
I enjoyed the multiple points of view and that each character had their own issues. I had to know what was going to happen next and if some characters were as shady as they seemed.
I had the luxury of receiving both the ebook and audio version. It was great switching back and forth between the two.
4 stars
Thank you to @netgalley @stmartinspress and @macmillan.audio for a free copy of this book in exchange for my honest opinion.
Thank you for a copy of this audiobook. The narrator did a great job and I think that was the only reason I finished this book. I didn’t understand the title of the book because it seemed like it mostly had to do with the family more than the main character. Overall, it had potential but for me it just didn’t live up to the hype of the book. Two of the characters were unlikable and the potential for a good ending was totally missed.
Thank you NetGalley for this ARC and the chance to review the book.
This was an entertaining mystery, with a somewhat disappointing ending.
Loved the dynamic of the sisters working towards figuring out the truth. Enjoyed the narrator and listened to it all in a day.
The Younger Wife by Sally Hepworth is a drama-filled domestic novel with several intriguing characters. Stephen is getting married again to a much younger woman, but needs to divorce his former wife who can no longer speak for herself. The ending of this book is something else and it proves to be another phenomenal novel by Sally.
This is my first Sally Hepworth novel. I am impressed with her writing style. I will be reading other books written by her.
Thank you NetGalley for the advanced audio eARC.
I totally enjoyed this story from beginning to end. The characters were relatable. The plot kept me wanting to flip through the pages to see where we were going next.
The Younger Wife by Sally Hepworth was a fun domestic suspense! I read this one a few months ago and enjoyed it.
I read The Good Sister by this author last year and loved Hepworth’s flair for character and story development. In both that book and The Younger Wife, the plot twists are subtle but the story changes enough to have me second-guessing each character.
I really like how Hepworth writes each character with enough detail that I feel like I fully know them. Having multiple POVs, and characters with multiple issues going on, keeps me turning pages. Or in this case, keeps me listening, since I did most of it on audio.
I’m excited for The Soulmate!
I really enjoyed this audio! This one definitely went different than I thought it would. I really thought "The Younger Wife" was gonna be the "bad guy", but she wasn't AT ALL. I would call this book a bit of a slow burn, but also it kept you guessing and wanting to find out what was going on with the girls dad & would he get justice.
So I am sooo confused on the last chapter of "PAM" so if someone could chat with me about it, I am lost
This is another book that I just waited way too long to review, for absolutely no reason. I listened to it back in March, before pub day. I gave it three stars at the time, but took no notes! From what I can see on Goodreads, though, it seems like the ending may have changed since I read it, so perhaps it’s worth another listen to a more recent copy.
Audio Review: The narrators are Barrie Kreinik, Caroline Lee, Jessica Douglas-Henry, and Zoe Carides. I love a full cast for a book with multiple points of view!
I wanted to love this one as I love the author's previous work, but it fell a bit flat for me. I found the main character to be offputting. Would still read others by the author.
I loved listening to this book! I didn't want it to end. All the twists and turns, just when you think you had it figured out which character you wanted to hate, it turned again! I loved The Good Sister and this one is just as good. Looking forward to the next one.
