I received a copy of this book from Netgalley and Wednesday Books.
This was adorable! It did seem to skew on the younger side of YA, but I had a ball with it.
Basically, it's three parts focusing on a different character after a love potion is brewed.
So charming!
Such a heartwarming read, I loved engaging with all the characters and the writing of all these wonderful authors combined is fantastic!
Thank you NetGalley, Wednesday books, and the authors for a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review! This is a cute novel that split into three parts, each written by a different author and featuring a different character. Onny decides to brew a love potion for the three friends and this book shows the aftermath.
I sadly didn’t enjoy this one as much as I’d hoped, but I think that’s a completely personal issue because it seems a little too young for me. I didn’t really connect to the humor or the “teenage slang” but I might have enjoyed it more when I was between like 12 and 14.
My favorite thing about the novel was definitely the atmosphere. I loved learning about the town of Moon Ridge and Onny’s past. I feel like other people would enjoy it more than me and I recommend it for the lower side of the YA range! Thank you once again for an early copy.
Because I had just finished #bridgertonS2 & needed more good romance I figured it was time to pick up my ARC for THREE KISSES, ONE MIDNIGHT. And—you do see who the authors are, no?—to say I am blown away & that I kept reading “past the witching hour” is an understatement, folks. It has whimsical magic, it has achingly deep & beautiful friendships, and of course it has all my fav tropes of 🔥🔥🔥ROMANCE. Every voice is so real & so well-done it’s hard to believe they’re fictional (ARE THEY???). Loved the trio of protagonists so much but now I need MORE!
All three authors have been my auto reads for a long time. This book was such an exciting announcement. I loved every individual story and how it stuck to the authors’ writing styles while also working as a cohesive bind up of shorts!!
Three Kisses, One Midnight is a book everyone is going to absolutely love!
A well written, genuine, unputdownable, amazing novel that I truly enjoyed and engaged with the characters.
Wednesday Books,
Thank You! Thank You! For this eARC.
as always the author does a great job to weave together a story. I loved the flow and the characters. The worldbuilding was amazing. I really enjoyed each development of the characters. This is my first time reading anything by these authors and I am happy it didnt disappoint!
Three Kisses, One Midnight by Roshani Chokshi; Sandhya Menon; Evelyn Skye is a great collection of three novellas that are filled with Halloween, magic, love, and are just fun all around.
I really enjoyed this collection of stories for young adults/adults that incorporates modern-day situations, young love/romance, and adventures with the ancient history of Halloween, covens, magic, witches, and spells/love potions.
Each novella features a different author and a different main character, but all are connected with an overarching theme leaving the reader entertained throughout.
I recommend this for anyone that enjoys YA, paranormal, and Halloween-themed books.
4/5 stars
Thank you NG and Wednesday Books/ St. Martin’s Press for this wonderful arc and in return I am submitting my unbiased and voluntary review and opinion.
I am posting this review to my GR and Bookbub accounts immediately and will post it to my Amazon, Instagram, and B&N accounts upon publication on 8/30/22.
Three best friends have some things to learn about love. Together their Coven decides to tempt fate by brewing a love potion that was passed down from Oony’s grandmother. Of course, magic can only help what was already destined to be, it can’t be forced. For their loves to last forever they must seal their love with a kiss before midnight on Halloween. The three characters are all different and will help to draw in different readers. Onny is our dreamer, Ash a shy nice guy, and True is a scientist at heart. Three favorite YA authors created three short novellas tied into one complete story. Fans of cheesy, Hallmark type romances will fall for this book. Ages 12-18.
Please note: This was a review copy given to us by NetGalley and the publisher in exchange for an honest review. No financial compensation was received.
What a fun book! A paranormal, magical story about 3 friends and a love potion. The characters are all perfectly charming. The story is funny and the young love is so sweet. I love the sass of the characters. I really enjoyed it and finished it in a day.
Thanks to the publisher for the arc.
Thank you to NetGalley and St. Martin's Press/Wednesday Books for allowing me to read a copy in exchange for an honest review.
A colossal thank you to Roshani Chokshi; Sandhya Menon; Evelyn Skye for writing Three Kisses, One Midnight because this book is 100% magical.
How do I put this book into words that would accurately describe the magical feeling like discovering a book for the first time or looking at the full moon for the first time. It is like being in an open field away from the city and seeing the starry sky and realizing how infinitely big the universe is. It is lying on the field next to a soul mate pointing out cloud shapes and having fingers touch. it is like greeting old friends after not seeing them for over a decade. It is being a child when it rains during sunshine looking for a rainbow.
I willingly took the love potion because I am completely in love with this book and all of its characters and the world of Moon Ridge with its ghosts and fables. With love potions and discovering true love and the coveted kiss at midnight.
All of the stars
all of the feels
And if you want to read the train wreck that is me trying to put my feelings into words (barely) you can read the full review on my blog (Bookgirl Reviews Books) here: https://bookgirlreviewsbooks.blogspot.com/2022/03/three-kisses-one-midnight-by-roshani.html

The three authors are clearly having a blast telling their stories and celebrating teen love and witchcraft. While there is definitely hint of the supernatural, the stories feel like spooky YA romcoms. Three friends are in The Coven; named this for Onny’s love of astrology and charms. She decides to brew then all up a love potion.
Onny plans to use hers on Alexander the Great-Looking, but Byron gets in the way.
Ash wants to use it on Cassidy his neighbor that he’s had a crush on for years.
True is heartbroken and doesn’t want a love potion after a terrible boyfriend. She’s science over supernatural, but when she meets Orion she sees how perfectly they mix.
The supporting characters are also a delight. Particularly their vampire-like teacher Mr. Brightsides and his polar opposite husband, the sweet Mayor Grimjoy.
