This was a delightful YA romance following three friends as they discover love on Halloween night. Each of the friends are as different as their feelings about magic and true love, but they complement each other so well. Each of the friends gets their own interconnected novella that follows them throughout the night of the big Halloween party held at Onny's home. Throughout the day and night the each have to come to terms with their feelings on love and magic.

Onny is the romantic of the group. She belives in all things mystical and magical. She is into astrology, tarot, and believes in all of the lore and legend surrounding their town. True on the other hand is a woman of science. If she can't see it or prove it, it doesn't belong in her world. Ash is the third member of their group, and he is artistic and a bit shy. The three of them form "The Coven", which really has nothing ot do with witches or magic, unless you count Onny's love potion. Onny is convinced that the three of them will find true love at her family's annual Halloween party, especially with the help of her grandmother's love potion. Each of the friends has a unique and fun journey to find their person and face their feelings.

I thought this was a quick and fun read. I love Halloween and thought this was perfect cozy read as we begin to enter into fall. It was really cute and the characters were really fun. I loved the Mayor and the Teacher that act as almost guides for each of them on their journey to find love. The grumpy sunshine duo were a nice addition to the story.

Three Kisses, One Midnight is an enchanting tale that’s full of pure magic! It is comprised of three novellas, each told from three different points of view. Three best friends, Onny, Ash and True have called themselves the Coven since they were little kids, and this tale involves their quest for love. It takes place near Halloween, making it the perfect fall read. The first story is Onny’s story, the second is Ash’s story, and the third is True’s story. I found this format easy to follow and I really enjoyed it! I would also like to mention that there’s a great cast of diverse characters which I found very appealing.

The town of Moon Ridge was founded 400 years ago, and legend says that a young woman perished that night at the stroke of midnight when she was supposed to embark with her true love. Every century since, one day a year, the Lady of Moon Ridge comes down from the stars to walk among the people of the town. It is said that she will help those willing to follow their hearts’ desire.

This year at Moon Ridge High, the Coven will come together at a masquerade ball like never before and will interlace magic, science, and art. Onny, Ash, and True believe that everything is in alignment to bring them what they’ve been seeking, all with a little help from Onny’s grandmother’s love potion.

Nothing turns out to be as easy as the friends think. As midnight draws near, the Coven will learn that it takes more than a spell to recognize when love is offered and embrace the magic that follows.

I thought all three of these stories were absolutely adorable! If you’re looking for a quick read, that’s romantic and heartwarming, this one is for you.

And on this night, the story is told in thirds. One for each friend with moments of overlapping between them. It was fun to see their stories unfold and how they each found love in their own way - enemies to lovers, one tale of courage and one tale of loving and valuing yourself again. I found them all to be heartwarming and cute. I think this book definitely reads on the younger side of YA but a cute low stakes read nonetheless.

I have to say I love all three of these authors individually as well as together. This was a cute witchy, romancy, ghosty book about a 3 friend coven. Albeit a little predictable I still really enjoyed it. ♡

Sweet and adorable and I need Disney to make this a movie ASAP.

A fun and easy YA read with all the good tropes.

I was not expecting this to be kinda like an anthology interwoven together on the same night, but I’m a lover of short stories so this was perfect for me! There’s tropes of enemies to lovers, mutual pining, & finding love after heartbreak. The stories are all so cute 🥰 all 3 authors brought the magic of Halloween & love to their stories! I loved it!

Onny’s story
This was a cute enemies to lovers story! I really enjoyed Onny as a character. She was very spunky and a lot of fun. She’s the richest girl in town and her house sounds fabulous! Of course her enemy Byron is gonna accidentally drink her love potion but luckily for her he offers to help her make a new one. And along the way they find they may not hate each other at all!

Ash’s story
This story is probably my favorite 😍 Cassidy quite literally comes crashing into ash’s life at the beginning. She falls straight thru the fence damaging it & forcing them to spend the afternoon with each other. I loved their mutual pining, the way you could tell they both liked each other but we’re too nervous to say it out loud.

True’s story
I think we’ve all been True at one point or another. She’s heartbroken after a breakup. Mr. Brightside asks her to watch over Wicked Wynona which of course gets stolen by her dumb ex boyfriend. True teams up with a boy she’s just met, Orion, to help search the giant house to find her. She learns that everything that makes her “too much” is exactly what make her special to herself and “enough” for another person some day.

I was super excited when I saw that these three lovely authors got together to write a book, and it did not disappoint. Three Kisses, One Midnight is a super cute story following three best friends who each have their own little love adventure one night during a Halloween party. It's written sort of like three separate short stories that intertwine and center on the one friend group. I don't know if it was the set up or just the fun, lighthearted nature of the stories, but I sped through them. It's always fun to read a good love story, but this one is extra fun because it is set during Halloween and throws in crazy elements like love potions, ghosts, and interesting town myths. I love the idea of taking a holiday that is usually focused on spooky and scary and making it a time where true love can be found. It's a wonderful story, grounded in the real world but with a touch of magic that will have you believing anything is possible.

I thought all three characters' stories were good and enjoyed the entire thing. One of the things I liked best about it was the setting, this small quirky town called Moon Ridge. It definitely seems like the kind of place for Halloween magic, and all of the people there are the right amount of weird to get you intrigued. My favorites were the mayor, Mayor Grimjoy, and his husband, Mr. Brightside, who are the complete opposite of their names. They are so tropey but in a way I just loved. Mr. Brightside in particular reminded me so much of Captain Holt from Brooklyn 99, so fans of that show might want to check this book out just for that!

Three Kisses, One Midnight is an amazing fall time story that is the perfect young adult fluff mixed with magic and spooky vibes. The Halloween and autumn vibes were simply perfect.

This books is adorably cute and would likely be a perfect romance book for young readers.

The book is basically three short novellas centered around the same theme, finding love with a potion before midnight. It follows three friends, Onny, Ash and True nicknamed The Coven that have varying degrees in what they believe when it comes to magic.

The first story is from Onny point of view. Out of the three Onny is the one that believes in magic the most, based on her grandmothers stories of love and magic it is her love potion recipe that they are following. Onny’s story also sets up the world and the story of the Lady of the Moon Ridge so logically it makes sense that her story would be first. Out of the three, I liked Onny’s chapter the least. Onny’s belief in the magic of her grandmothers stories is lovely but Onny herself felt a little juvenile to me. It may have to do with the writing style of that chapter, particularly when it came to the dialogue. It at times felt like the humor was overly forced and didn’t fit into a scene. But I know for others they will really like this dialogue, its just not for me.

Ash’s story is the middle story and I found myself enjoying his the most. Ash is a shy guy with a crush on the next door girl but too afraid to say anything to her. Out of the three characters I found him the most relatable and realistic and I was actively rooting for him and his love interest. I think because his story also dealt with his fears of talking with others. Of being overbearing or pretentious before finally understanding that his passion brings him joy and he passes that on in his own way and there is nothing wrong with that. I also really liked Cassidy, she was sweet yet also shy and it was fun to see how the two interacted with each other when the truth was finally revealed. I’m not sure if each author had a different character’s chapter but the writing style felt different and was more what I prefer to read, particularly with the shy characters as they slowly find their confidence as they become more comfortable with a person.

True is the final chapter and its a good conclusion to the book. Compared to her friends True is a skeptic on the whole issue of magic but she goes along with it for her friends because she cares for them. I both liked and disliked True’s chapter. True believes in what she can see, she is a logical thinker and this chapter was a little heavier on the Lady of the Moon Ridge appearances. While she is mentioned in the previous chapters as appearing its heavy handed in this chapter as almost a way to force True into believing in the mystic. Which feels like it was going the opposite of Onny’s chapter which was more on believing in yourself and what you can accomplish and not just relying on magic. I get what the authors were going for but letting True stay true to her beliefs would have balanced on the book well.

Overall, while I liked the book particularly Ash’s story, I didn’t find it truly magical, its an easy afternoon read and I know people will love it. I just found the romance too telegraphed, the stories follow a path that seems laid out from the first page of each chapter which robbed it some of the magic for me. Why I think this would be an exceptionally good read for young readers.

This book is so cute. I went in not knowing what was going on, the authors are all authors that I LOVE!!!! The whole cozy town with traditions vibe is a whole mood! This is a cozy, easy YA romance that is literally a fun time, yeah there are some repetition in the stories and they are a little predictable but who cares this book is definitely something that I would recommend for a feel good time, especially during the fall/ Halloween season.

I don’t read a ton of books in this genre, but I’m a fan of Chokshi’s Gilded Wolves series so I thought I’d give this novel a try.

Bring on the pumpkin spice! With much of the story taking place at a Halloween party, it’s full of autumn vibes. I loved the descriptions of the quaint town that goes all out for Halloween and the legend of The Lady of Moon Ridge who helps people follow their heart’s desires.

The main characters are a trio of best friends whose nights may not turn out exactly as expected. Onny is a true believer in magic and has a very specific love potion recipe bequeathed to her by her grandmother. True was recently burned by an unworthy boyfriend and only trusts scientific facts. Ash is an artist who’s loved someone for several years (she’s totally unaware) and decides to take an unexpected opportunity to create his own luck. The book is divided into three sections, with each character telling their own story. I enjoyed all of them, but my favorite is a tie between Onny’s and Ash’s. Science teacher Mr. Brightside and his husband, Mayor Grimjoy are perfect supporting characters and add even more humor to the mix.

A black cat who interrupts a long-awaited kiss, zodiac signs, odd potion ingredients, awesome costumes, and the best Halloween decorations I’ve heard of – this is a light-hearted, magical read guaranteed to put you in the autumn mood.

Just a bundle of sweetness.

This book is three adorable love stories rolled into one. Interestingly enough, I couldn't even tell that it was written by three different authors. I'm curious how they divided the book up, like if each of them got one character or if they wrote everything together. Regardless, it flows seamlessly.

We get a little bit of everything. Rivals to lovers. Mutual pining. And love at the first meeting.

The stories were short and sweet. Are they a tad predictable? Yes, but they were still fun and endearing.

The book was a cute, fun read, but lacking in substance or plot. While it’s YA, it felt almost middle grade to me with the level of simplicity and the childish main characters. The concept was (sorry to use this word again) cute and I could see people enjoy reading it around Halloween. I guess I just expected more given who the authors were.

Three Kisses One Midnight was a magical tale full of sarcastic teens, high school drama and romance. If you ever wanted to friend group of Never Have I Ever to brew a love potion this is the book for you!

This was a cute and surprising YA story of three friends finding love. I liked how there were three authors that I’m assuming took each character. My favorite story was Ash’s and Cassidy. There was such cuteness in their story arc. I especially loved their biology teacher and his husband. Whenever they would pop into a scene it was hilarious every single time. My only small complaint, I’m not a huge fan of Halloween so all of that I skimmed over. Yet, I really liked this book! So if you love to read about love potions, magic, Halloween, love, and new beginnings than this book is for you.

In Three Kisses: One Midnight, Chokshi, Menon & Skye take a friendship trio and tell the story of their night through each of their POVs. It seems like each of our authors took one of these friends and made their story, joys, and fears their own. Starting out of the gate, I loved Onny's story the most. It has the most wry banter, enemies to lovers, and I loved how detailed Onny is. Three Kisses: One Midnight begins with a quirky and endearing narrative. But throughout the story, these friends - who are all motivated by different things - will try to figure out what the night holds for them.

Fabulous for young teens, and romance lovers of any age. With a bit of magic and helpful spirits three friends entertain the thought of finding true love before midnight. While attending a party, to celebrate the 400th anniversary of the town, each friend has a unique experience. Each chapter is dedicated to one of the friends and how they go about getting their kiss at midnight. A wonderful and unique idea I really enjoyed each story and found it difficult to distinguish authors. I enjoyed my copy from Netgalley and wrote my review voluntarily.

Onny’s story is so magical. She just wants a little love in her life and to keep her grandmother (lola) close since she passed. In this short story I began to care for Onny and empathized with the loss of her grandmother. Using the love potion recipe left for her by her lola, Onny collects the ingredients and makes enough for her and her two best friends (The Coven!). Things go awry as Onny tries to give the love potion to Alexander the Great looking. Will she be able to get it to him before midnight or does the Lady of Moon Ridge have other plans for her?

Ash is a shy guy with a crush on a girl. I love seeing this side. So often you see the girl with the crush. He’s an artist and they way he sees and describes things is beautiful! He has his portion of Onny’s love potion and is trying to figure out how to give it to the girl next door he’s had a crush on for forever. With a little push from the Lady of Moon Ridge, he might just get the nerve to tell her how he feels.

True isn’t in to all this magical stuff and really really wants this day to be over with. Yes she has some of Onny’s love potion, but she doesn’t really believe what Onny says about it. Reluctantly and very late, she shows up to the gala where she plots her escape to be alone. Until Orion comes into the picture. Will True take the love potion and heed the advice of the Lady of Moon Ridge and allow love to take its course?

I really enjoyed this book and each story was magical in its own way and they all tie together so nicely, you’d never guess it was written by three people! If you’re looking for a little romance surrounded with magical Halloween elements, I recommend this book!

Three Kisses, One Midnight is a fun and entertaining YA fantasy that follows three friends and their search for love during the Halloween season. Dubbed The Coven, Onny, Ash, and True decide to use a love potion. The book includes three stories written by three different authors, and all of the stories are interconnected.

The first story is my favorite, though they are all engrossing. It’s an enemies-to-lovers romance, which I always enjoy, and Onny and Byron are fantastic. Onny is a well-developed protagonist and probably the most layered of all the characters in the book. She is the one to make the love potion and convince her friends to use it. Onny has been crushing on a boy for a while and has grown frustrated by many missed opportunities. The love potion is Onny’s chance to finally gain Alexander’s attention. Of course, not everything goes according to plan, as Onny quickly realizes when her plans are thwarted by her rival Byron.

The second story is a friends-to-lovers romance that follows Ash, who likes his neighbor Cassidy but is too shy to tell her. They have a very sweet and gentle love story, and I thought Ash and Cassidy were the most likable of characters. The last story is about True and Orion. True is the skeptic of the bunch and is struggling with a recent heartache. When she meets Orion, however, True’s feelings change. They have a fun opposites-attract romance.

I like that the three stories, though connected are completely different and include a variety of romantic tropes. It’s like there’s something for every kind of ya romance reader. I also appreciated the great dialogue, fun banter, and messages about friendship. family, love, and more.
