The author provides background and techniques on the benefits of yoga. She also goes into detail into meditation and introspection. Each chapter has step by step exercises so the reader can improve their meditation and yoga practices. If you would like to deepen your meditation or go deeper, this would be a good book to read.
A great introductory guide to meditation and incorporating yoga into meditation. Although more seasoned practitioners may find some of this helpful, I think it's more geared to those looking to find some inner peace in their lives. Light did a great job of explaining everything, and covers some common issues people who haven't meditated before may run into. (Or those that have tried before and weren't successful). Definitely a book I'd recommend!
As an infrequent practicer of meditation, I found there are useful tools included in this book. There are exercises that are suitable for beginners and some for more experienced. Lots of useful instructions that I will use and maybe I will become a more frequent meditator.
Thanks for a great book!

There were helpful instructions on how to practice the meditation and I think they would be very useful.
