Nice biography on Sir Francis Walsingham - focusing on the religious wars of the time and Walsingham's spy network. This was a man who sacrificed all "for queen and country" and in the end, this cost him dearly.
However, there is a distinct lack of historical information on the man himself, that we never really get a true sense of the man. This is no reflection on the author ... there is just not that much historical data on this man who is about as shady as his own spy network!
I went out and bought a copy for myself.
