I ended up DNF'ing this one as the writing was not up to a level I'd expected. But for readers who love the Elizabethan era and the political intrigue of the era, this would be a passable read.

I love a good historical book about the Elizabethan era but it is hard to find a clean one so I am delighted that one of my favorite Christian authors tackled a series about that time period. Rich in detail and filled with plenty of memorable historical figures as well as some fictional ones this book is a great read.
