I always love these books and I am always thrilled to get review copies. This one was all the more special to me a it contained a lady from Northern Ireland and I so very rarely see my country represented in a positive way and so to see her make this list of 25 women was truly lovely.

Rebel Girls Awesome Entrepreneurs is an inspiring collection of diverse women who have overcome the odds to be successful in owning their own businesses. I appreciate that the stories are concise and highlight what is unique about each woman's story. Perfect for aspiring entrepreneurs of any age..

Another awesome installment of Rebel Girls, this time it’s women entrepreneurs! I absolutely love this series. I buy my daughter, who will definitely be working in a STEM field some day, ALL of them. It’s inspiring the way it’s written for each woman how they dreamed of what they would do as young girls. I loved the story of Paige Brown (CEO of Windbourne)who after discovering her local stream was poisoned, made a filter to get it cleaned up. This project earned her a scholarship. She eventually became an activist for climate change. I really liked at the end there’s a section to add your own story and further explain what being an entrepreneur means. This is a fantastic bunch of women and I’m so glad I got the opportunity to review this book and share the stories with my daughter who also has an entrepreneurial spirit. Can’t wait to get my own copy.

This is my second book in the Rebel Girls series, and I really like these a lot. The left side is a page of information on the entrepreneur (some are famous like the singer Rihanna starting her makeup brand and some are less well known like Kathy Hannun). The right side is a wonderful illustration, all done by different artists to really highlight female and enby artists around the world. There's also a lot of great information at the back of the book on how to start an entrepreneurship and inspire young kids to be active in business ventures. Informative and inspiring!

Thank you to netgalley for a free copy in exchange for an honest review!

Rebel girls does it again!!! There is nothing better than this series! The books are gorgeous and so well done. They’re not overwhelming but their attractive and educational. I was embarrassed that of all the amazing entrepreneurs I only knew Rihanna. These books are such a resource for young women (& men too!). I want to buy them for every little girl in my life. Women are not highlighted enough. I certainly did not grow up knowing more than Jackie O and Amelia Earhart. Looking forward to more Rebel Girls books!

Rebel Girls have never let me down with their books which mix beautiful illustrations and information about inspiring women in various ways, whether that be sport, history, environmental and climate work, and now, with Rebel Girls Awesome Entrepreneurs? The world of business.

Every book I have read so far has allowed me to learn more about someone and this was no exception as I hadn't heard of any of the women featured. Each woman's life is briefly explored on a page and Rebel Girls always succeed in providing a seriously large amount of information in a short amount of space, and as I have said there is a unique portrait of the specific woman alongside the biography.

Where Rebel Girls always succeed is they don't make learning difficult for the reader, words that may be difficult, (such as entrepreneur in this book) are explained at the end of the book and it doesn't feel like the books are impossible for a child to read with the series being designed for 7-12-year-olds, though those at the younger end of the scale may need a little assistance.

This series is a must for any child's bookshelf regardless of their gender as they're brilliant for educational purposes as well as casual non-fiction reading. Whilst I understand they are geared to girls, there is always something to learn in every book and these would be a love excellent base for homework, curiosity etcetera.

At the end of Rebel Girls Awesome Entrepreneurs, along with the explanations of the more difficult words is sections for the child to fill in, with them to explore the kind of business they would like to run etcetera- something that could, for example, be expanded on in a classroom.

With the additional option to scan a QR code to gain access to the Rebel Girls app where you can learn more about the featured women? Rebel Girls will have another success on their hands.

Now, I wonder what is next from this clever publishing group?

Thank you Rebel Girls for sending me the link of the pre-approved copy of your latest book, Rebel Girls Awesome Entrepreneurs. It is a pleasure for me to have received such an invitation from you. Congratulations for another very inspiring series!

In this series, the Rebel Girls is highlighting on some of the most creative and successful business women and entrepreneurs (which i have never heard of or known any of them except for Rihanna, the famous singer!).

Everyone knows that it isn't easy to start a business and not everyone has what it takes to be a businessman (which in this case, a businesswoman) and entrepreneurs. However, it isn't impossible to be one, as long as we have visions, ideas and creativity, have the guts, grit and confidence that our ideas would work and are willing to work hard until its succession, then anything is possible.

As showcased by these extraordinary women entrepreneurs, their journey weren't all smooth sailing but started out as a bumpy road for them. Each one of them were facing their own challenges and battling with their own fears and insecurities, before their visions and ideas could turn up to be successful.

What's fascinating and inspiring to me is that despite they are all facing ordinary, common and relatable problems and issues to us such as difficulty of finding a job/getting hired, bullying, lack of confidence, physical disability, etc, nevertheless they had extraordinary visions, brilliant and bold ideas and creativity in creating or coming up with something, solving a problem and turning them into an opportunity.

I think this series is not only inspiring by sharing the stories about all of these amazing women, but also very informative as it also gives some tutorials on some of the important, basic terms and concepts used in business such as what is an entrepreneur? types of business, who are the important people in the C-Suites?as well as some hands-on, step by step guidelines and activities at the end of the book on how to start our own business that we can try and follow.

Overall, this is a very enjoyable read for me which i highly recommend to every girls/women,young or old, whether you are into business or not. However, the only issue i had is that i wish for a more diverse examples of business women and entrepreneurs in this book as so far i saw mostly they are all candidates from the United States. It would be more interesting if you could feature more women entrepreneurs from other countries and add in more past business women/entrepreneurs in history (as i saw mostly they are all from the recent times).

In short, it is another 5🌟 rating from me.

This well-titled book is indeed awesome! It's filled with mini-biographies of innovative women who started with a dream, and went on to created their own successful companies, or vastly improve companies they worked for. I appreciated the generational mix, with women representing various decades. We learn about Madam C.J. Walker, who created her black hair care product line in the Victorian and Edwardian eras, And we are introduced to Mikaila Ulmer, born in 2004 and already making great strides in bee conservation and her honey-sweetened lemonade business, In between those extremes, women from many points on the timeline are featured. There is a role model for every young girl.

After the bios, there's a blank page for the young reader to write their story and draw their own portrait, if they want to. There's also a glossary of business words to learn, and (the best part!) a step-by-step "Build Your Own Business" guide that's realistic and practical.

This books is part of the "Rebel Girls" series. The mini-bio format is used throughout, with each book highlighting the accomplishments of women in various occupations, from athletes to mothers and daughters. I've read a few and really enjoy them. I wish I'd had these books to educate and inspire me when I was young.

My thanks to Rebel Girls and NetGalley for allowing me to read a digital advance review copy of this book. This review is my honest and unbiased opinion.

I'm always psyched when a new book in the Rebel Girls series comes out. In the latest, the book highlights 25 women entrepreneurs with different backgrounds and field of expertise. The diversity of the women featured is great to see! Each of these books always displays themes of perseverance and hard work, two vital traits to teach young readers of Generation Alpha. This series is truly special, because it tells the inspirational stories of so many women, and gives young readers role models to look up to.

Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for this ARC in exchange for an honest review!

Rebel Girls Awesome Entrepreneurs is a children's picture book that contains biographies of 25 entrepreneurs or girls and women who created their own businesses. The book contains full-color illustrations as well as 1 page informational text excerpts. I would guess from the text that this book targets would be between 2nd-3rd grade.

Overall, this book has a very important message. It's so important to tell young girls about all of the possibilities open to them and to encourage them to pursue their dreams. Often, when books include biographies of "heroes" or "famous people," they're almost always all men. The Rebel Girls series of books is incredible, because they show young girls everywhere they can follow their dreams and be successful. If you're intrigued by the description, I highly recommend that you check out this book when it comes out in May!

This is a fantastic book filled with inspiring, hardworking, intelligent women with drive, determination and spirit. Reading through the stories of this diverse group of women, some famous or running well known companies, you can't help but feel motivated and inspired!

The stories are short but captivating and there's a beautiful portrait illustration that accompanies each one. My favourite part is the page at the end that allows the reader to add their story and draw their portrait. There's also a page that explains some business terms and then a whole "How To" section on setting up a business.

This is a fantastic book for young girls, especially, who may someday want to be entrepreneurs. I loved it!

Thank you to Netgalley for the advance copy.

Rebel Girls Awesome Entrepreneurs: 25 Tales of Women Building Businesses, published by the Rebel Girls digital media company.

This book, the latest in the popular Rebel Girls series, features brief, one page stories about twenty-five females who have started or helped to expand businesses, invented wonderful products, or shaken up various industries.

As with all the Rebel Girls books, every showcased woman's story is succinctly told in simple, easy to understand language, and accompanied by a gorgeous, full colour illustration of the real-life heroine. Each story starts off with an anecdote, usually from childhood, that explains how her interest in her future career was ignited. And, since the Rebel Girls franchise is all about empowerment: at the back of the book, there's a page encouraging readers to write their own story.

Among well-known names such as popstar Rihanna and Nobel prize-winning biochemist and entrepreneur Jennifer Doudna, readers are bound to also encounter stories about women who are less familiar or completely unknown to them. Even as an adult reader, that's one of my favourite aspects about all Rebel Girls books.

If a child in your life is forever making or baking stuff to sell, or dreaming up ventures, this fun, informative book could be the inspiration that will keep their entrepreneurial spirit alight. You never know: today's lemonade stand owner might just be tomorrow's CEO.

This was a lovely book, would be perfect for a middle schooler. I appreciate the thorough background of each wonderful woman featured, both from current times and history. I was happy to see a diversity of races and abilities as well. Lovely illustrations and a few pages in the back for the reader to draw their own story and portrait! I also thought the "Build Your Own Business" guide was well written and step-by-step.

Another winner from Rebel Girls publishing. I love how they include women entrepreneurs from history as well as present day. There is also great cultural representation through the book, including women from all over the world. I loved the part at the end, where the reader could write their own entrepreneur story. I think this would be a great gift for any pre-teen.

Rebel Girls Awesome Entrepreneurs ---

Energetic entrepreneurs, powerful illustrations, with a request to write your own story. ---

What a wonderful and inspiring collection of stories about successful women who built businesses. Engineers, inventors, activists, and many other professions are represented by these women. Aside from that, powerful illustrations of the awesome women shown. ---

Apart from the stories, I especially like the section where the reader is encouraged to record their own story. There are ideas and information about how to build a business, as well as business vocabulary.

Wow this is an amazing book for young girls, teenagers and older women! I literally had goosebumps while reading this book because of all the strong, powerhouse women and their stories.

I loved getting to read about so many women in business and science snd had no idea that some of the companies detailed were ran or founded by women! It was inspiring to see each woman’s portrait (which by the way are all beautiful pieces of artwork by different artists) and I liked that there was an inspirational quote included for each woman. I also appreciated that there were so many women from different backgrounds, countries and upbringings included!

I think this book is so inspiring and will resonate with so many girls and women. There is a section in the book to write your own story and draw your own portrait which is fun! There are also a lot of tools and resources women can access to help them in their endeavors.

This book is wonderful!
