The only thing that could get me over the sadness of finishing this book was finding out that there’s about to be a movie so I can obsess over it all over again!

This book gives serious chemistry and laughs. This was my first age gap romance and I was living for it.

Seriously though, stop what you’re doing and read this book.

I read this absolutely gorgeous book in one sitting on a sunny balcony and it was the perfect (find) read. Williams' writing draws you in from the first page and I didn't want to put it down.

The Perfect Find follows Jenna, a woman who has just come out of a 20 year relationship and is struggling to find herself in her new single life as well as trying to claw back a career after a brief hiatus. The book touched on some real and raw emotions and the romance that builds was both incredibly sexy as well as completely believable. This will make for a brilliant film when it gets adapted.

There was very little I didn't enjoy about the book but I think there was slightly too much focus on specific fashion elements that to a layperson can bring you out of the story.

I would highly recommend this for anyone who wants to get lost in a book for a few hours.

I received a free copy from NetGalley and this is my honest review.

Eric and Jenna is probably one of my favourite book-couples. The reverse age-gap is really refreshing (although, in real life cynical me doesn't think it would go thus, however). Through the whole book, I kept wondering how it would turn out and which solution could be found. I think the ending was perfect!

This book was cosy, romantic and refreshing. My only "objection" would be that there often was TMI on the fashion world for someone who doesn't have the faintest clue on who all this people are😊

I might be the only person in the world who didn't read Seven Days in June but I saw all the hype so was excited for The Perfect FInd. I can see why Tia Williams is so popular! Her writing is crisp and contemporary. Now that I'm older and living in Australia, I didn't understand a lot of the jargon or references. However, the connection between Eric and Jenna was addictive and I felt frustrated then heart-broken along with them.

Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the opportunity to read this book.

This book was so much fun! I loved the cut throat magazine setting and Jenna as a whole. Tia’s writing is so funny and brilliant and had me immersed throughout.

There were one or two things I didn’t entirely adore (the weird line about thinking her ex was gay because he liked to exfoliate - homophobic stereotypes should be left in the past) but this definitely encouraged me to check out more of her work in future.

I loved 7 days in June and was excited to read another book by this author. She has a lovely way of drawing you into her character's world and a fresh and witty take on the traditional romance novel, but I did feel the novel had dated and readers who don't know it is a reissue might be confused.

This wasn’t for me. It was too slow paced and there was too much dialogue as well. A shame as I have read a lot of good things about this. I would try another by this author though.

I loved this book! This book is a romance with a Devil Wears Prada feel to it, and it was entertaining from start to finish. The chemistry between the two MCs was amazing, and I felt really attached to both characters. Both characters were well developed and interesting - I loved all the unique quirks added in by the author to their back stories. I loved the writing and found myself laughing a lot while reading. My only criticism is that I found some of the dialogue / jokes a bit disappointing and dated, but aside from this, this was a textbook perfect romance for me.

Sorry, read the name of the author but didn't read the blurb. Already read and reviewed it
This was my review
"3,5* rounded to 4
When I read the blurb I thought about "Younger" (the tv series, not the book) but I think that the author was able to deliver her own version of an older-woman/toyboy story.
i had fun and enjoyed it but I think that Seven Days in June was more mature and interesting.
It's a light story, some parts didn't age well and I think that the author is definitely better know.
Entertaining and fun.
Many thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for this ARC, all opinions are mine"
