The cover originally drew me to this manga, I loved the idea of an adorable goat working in a bookshop with a handsome wolf boss! Im definitely a sucker when it comes to this type of theme. The art was really nice and the characters are so cute. I would love to read more volumes about these two but I think this told a great story for them overall. Would definitely recommend this one looking for the perfect fluff!

I loved reading Yagi the Bookshop Goat. The cover is what first got my attention. The art so adorable! What makes this manga great is that the characters and the storyline is just so wholesome. I know that might sound strange when talking about a manga with a mature rating, but it’s just so beautifully done. This is a great comfort read. I would highly recommend Yagi the Bookshop Goat! Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to read it.

Oh my Goodness, this is one of the cutest things I’ve ever read! I love how adorable Yagi is and how Ookami comes off scary and stoic, but is actually utterly smitten. This is a really fun, light manga with a super sweet romance. And I loved the way it played with the trope of childhood friends reconnecting many years later. All around a delightful way to spend a few hours~

Thank you, Tokyopop, for the advance reading copy.

I love the concept of this manga so much!

The art sequence, the presentation, the dialogues, the characters: everything just clicked!

And moreover, the plot is based on someone who's not a human character, but also someone who's obsessed with books in a different way! You will know because our main character cannot stay away from books and they are not meant to eat them!

I love the character representation and how the character development is so well done. The characters are so cute! I just ship for them. And I need more of them.

You will adore the romance as much as I do. You cannot ignore this chemistry. One of the characters is a bit insecure and rather a softie (I adore him so much!) and the other character is so patient and understanding. I just want to stare at the illustrations. They are really well done. Kudos to the artist!

I am feeling so single now. Damn.

*This is a yaoi manga.

This was such a cute read! I loved the characters and how they developed throughout the story, especially our protagonist Yagi. As a bookseller myself I love reading about characters working in bookshops, so I may be a bit biased. But I found the plot was paced well, and the relationship between Yagi and Ookami was great. Plus, there was lots of consent, which is a big plus for me when reading BL. Overall, this was a fantastic oneshot!

Thank you to TOKYOPOP and LOVE x LOVE for the opportunity to review this ARC.

A boys love story about a goat that loves books but is not the ideal book lover because he likes eating them too?! I SIMPLY JUST HAD TO READ THIS!

I had high expectations before reading Yagi The Book Goat by Fumi Furukawa - the synopsis sounded CUTE and I was not disappointed!
It was an adorable cute and funny read and it went beyond my expectations! It had jokes that any reader (book eater hehe) would love. It has a forbidden romance between a herbivore and carnivore, and the Yagi the book goat is the cutest cinnamon bun you can find.

This is a read I will come back to reread. It was so fun and enjoyable to read about Yagi and the days he spends in the book store where he shares his love for reading with the customers and regularly gets scolded by his wolf store manager, Ookamisan, when he catches Yagi eating another book. As a goat, Yagi has a special talent for finding the best reads and he is eating at least one book a day!
