An enjoyable book that goes back and looks at the Variety TV Show Days. The books is pretty much just that, with wonderful anecdotal stories. The only place where this bogged down was when the author himself when necessarily auto-biographical. To me his personal pre-show biz story was not that interesting and served only as brief page fillers before getting to the "good stuff." Again, that is my opinion, and regardless of my negative thoughts this is a book well worth reading!
