This didn’t work out for me unfortunately.
Much appreciation to the publisher and NetGalley for the chance to review.
This story is a delightful blend of humour, light-heartedness, and heartfelt emotions. The relatable characters and emphasis on friendships added an extra layer of depth, making the revelation of 'the one' all the more powerful. Although I had a hunch early on, it didn't detract from my overall enjoyment. As someone who typically gravitates towards thrillers, this heartwarming choice provided a much-needed mood boost and proved to be an effortless read. With its fast-paced narrative and touching moments, this is an absolute must-read for those seeking a book that effortlessly tugs at the heartstrings.
The premise looked really promising and at the beginning the story really pulled me in it, but as it went on, I kind of lost interest and DNF'd in the middle. But now I picked it up again and I was a little bit disappointed because I was waiting for some plot twist but didn't come, since it was pretty obvious to me, who will she end up with. Even though I didn't really love the story, the characters were really likeable.
A great book that you definitely shouldn't skip to the end! Feel good and giving you warm fuzzy feelings to read I enjoyed this book on my most recent holiday. Great distressed and distracter (maybe a little too good!) I would recommend this book to anyone want to escape to the pages of a good book for a while!
Such an inventive idea, the 'power' to foresee the ending of a relationship at the very beginning - to explore that in a romcom setting is genius. Funny and gleefully romantic, this book is a real gem!
Skip to the End is a romance novel with a psychic twist. You know you'll be getting your HEA, but the way there is paved with giggles & lots of wonderful friendship.
Whenever Amy shares a first kiss she gets a flash forward to the end of the relationship, be it there & then, or the elusive forever. Amy still hasn't kissed her Prince charming &, to be honest, she's sick of it. But, her best friend Charlotte is getting married & she's going to enjoy herself, so she's going to kiss a frog or three. Waking up the next morning with a hangover she realises she kissed the one, but which one she's not sure as she can't remember which three she kissed, let alone which one is her happily ever after.
This was such a fun read, easy to curl up & enjoy, just enough seriousness to connect with the characters, but plenty of laughs to lighten the mood.
Skip to the End is out now & the perfect book to buy yourself for valentines, because we all deserve a treat, right?
I read this book in one day and I loved it! This is a perfect quick read. It is a great rom with humour. The main character was likeable and relatable.
A perfect little romantic comedy book for all those romance lovers. Amy has a special gift, she can see how a romance will end from a first kiss. However nothing is simple, and when Amy gets a little tipsy she can recall her perfect happy ever after so clearly. A nice read, with no real surprises.
Unfortunately this book didn't do it for me. I struggled to get into it and therefore didn't finish it
Certainly not your usual romantic book where boy meets girl fall in love then something happens and they fall out but eventually get back together.
Amy has a psychic gift where she will kiss someone and she sees how the relationship will go she never finds her happy ever after. She is at a wedding and gets drunk kisses 3 men and one of them is her happy ever after but she cannot remember who it is. So she and her friends set out to find out who the mystery person is.
I really enjoyed this book had me gripped from the word go. The characters were believable and outrageous at times. It was well written.
Would recommend this book.
The synopsis for this one grabbed my attention straight away.
Imagine alive where once you kiss someone you know how your relationship will pan out. You’ll already know if you get a HEA or not.
It’s a light, fun read and I loved the sweet ending.
This was an interesting read - the plot idea is very original and quirky and it made a refreshing change from the usual romantic novels in the women's fiction category.
There were a few parts where I found it slow moving and I think (despite the synopsis portraying it as intriguing), the ending was fairly obvious throughout.
None the less, a quick and easy read.
When I read the synopsis for this book I was intrigued. I really wanted to read it because it sounded fun, and the closest to me I have seen. Now I know no one ever believed me when I said this, but when I met a guy and we went on a date I would always know it wouldn't work out long term and I would end up breaking up with them if we dated. Always. And I would tell them that and they never believed me. The only exceptions? My first heartbreak (he broke up with me) and my now-husband! So I did date, but knew it wouldn't lead to anything most of the time. Like Amy without the twist. So I was excited to see how this all played out.
Only...the structure and pacing of the story didn't work for me. We spent so much time before and at the wedding before anything happened that I started to get bored. It felt like this was a later book in the series and we should already know this friend group so we would be excited to see the wedding. Instead I felt it was way too much of the wedding prep/day for characters I didn't know so didn't really care about. It was also pretty obvious early on who the forever kiss was with, but I still wanted to see how it worked out.
Once we got to the day after the wedding when Amy had kissed three men, one of which was the one, only she can't remember who she kissed I expected it to get better. And it did, but it wasn't as fun as I had hoped. It was alright, but a bit of a let down. The trying to figure out the guy was...It was only alright. That and the fact that the characters who end up together barely spent any time together during the book, we didn't get to see them falling in love it just suddenly between one sentence and the next happens and then the next moment everything is resolved everyone is in love everything works our perfectly for every single person and situation in this book and..yeah it was too much and not enough. Too much that everyone gets a hopeful happily ever after and not enough with Amy and her mystery man. Not enough that it was believable that they were in love and meant to be. So this one didn't work for me.
Thanks to NetGalley, the author and the publisher for a copy of this book
Skip to the End is a cutesie rom-com style story where the protagonist Amy has been gifted with her family’s ability to see a premonition of how a relationship will end just by sharing a first kiss.
The concept really pulled me in and the cover is attractive but for me it felt a little predictable. It seemed kind of obvious who the “happy ever after” was going to be from about 40% in and the remaining 60% just seemed to be extra plot lines to keep it going until the inevitable happened. Despite this it’s still an easy read and if you’re looking for something to lose yourself in, this is a gem.

Amy has a unique gift. When she kisses someone, she sees exactly how their time together will end.
At a friends wedding Amy kisses THE ONE! She sees their happy ending. There is just one problem… she can’t remember who it was. Having been ever so slightly under the influence of alcohol, Amy managed to kiss three people.
The hunt is on to find out just who Amy shared that magic kiss with.
I loved the premise of this book. It’s funny, quirky, sweet and touching.
There are beautiful friendships that will warm your heart and some real Awww moments too.
Quite simply, a joy from start to finish.

Thanks to Quercus Books, the author and Netgalley, for an ARC of this book. I am leaving this review voluntarily.
You know when you read book reviews and they use words like 'heart-warming' and you kind of skip over it like it's a throw-away comment to describe a mildly touching story? Well, that's not the way I am using the word. This book really did warm my heart.
I loved Amy's family and friends (her friends are her family really).- I loved their flair, their individuality and most importantly, their acceptance and compassion for each other. The premise that every time Amy kisses someone she sees how their potential relationship is going to end that led me to request the book in the first place. But it's the other characters that kept me reading. Shout out to Amy's Mum, Gareth and even Elliot, who teaches Amy a valuable lesson.
I don't want to spoil anything but there is a happy ending - it's wonderful.
I'd recommend this book to anyone that wants to be reminded that there are good people in this world who will love and accept you for who you are,.
I look forward to reading more from this author.
With just one kiss, Amy can see where things will end. When she finally gets the kiss she knows will lead to her HEA, she can't remember who it was with, thanks to too much alcohol. She sets out to find him, but will it be who she is expecting? A great read.
I absolutely loved this. Can you imagine having the power to ‘skip to the end’. Would you want to ?
The whole story felt real and I so wanted to be part of their friendship group! Amazing.
This was a really enjoyable book. The plot was refreshing, and the idea was fun and well developed.
The characters are likeable and relatable and the pace was good. I knew the plot twist almost from the start, but that did not prevent my enjoyment of getting there.
It is a fun and light read, perfect for the oncoming summer time, something to read by the pool.
I enjoyed this book that tells the story of Amy who knows as soon as she kisses someone how there relationship s going to , many thanks to netgalley and publisher for sending me arc of this book
