Book 2 of the cozy mystery series set in Catalina Island. Whitney is at it again, finding another body. The victim was a member of a feuding family (think Hatfields and McCoys) whose families have been fighting for about 200 years. Good story and kept my interesting throughout. Would recommend.
Whitney and Whiskers make a fun duo in this second book by Gabby Allan.
The story was engaging and I found myself caught up in the story.
Whiskers is my favorite character, he definitely put a smile on my face.

Whitney escaped the corporate life and returned to her zany family/boat tour business/gift shop/creation of puzzles and treasure maps on Catalina Island. She's also tiptoeing through a relationship with an old crush who is now a part time SCUBA diver for the police while running his own diving business. And now there's a new murder, but the relatives are pushing for a ruling of suicide. Lots of misdirection, plot twists, red herrings, and humor that kept me turning pages! Loved it!
I requested and received a free temporary e-book copy from Kensington Books via NetGalley. Thank you!
