Stealing Infinity had a really intriguing premise, but I have to admit, it didn’t quite hit the mark for me. The story starts off with a lot of potential—mysterious characters, a supernatural twist, and a setting that could’ve been really immersive. However, it felt a little slow-paced, and I found myself dragging through parts of it, waiting for the plot to pick up.

The bigger issue for me, though, was the drama. I was expecting more of a focus on the supernatural elements and the mystery, but there ended up being a lot more interpersonal drama than I anticipated. The characters’ relationships and emotional conflicts kind of took over, and I found myself getting a little frustrated with how much of the story was dedicated to that instead of the intriguing sci-fi aspects I was hoping for.

Overall, it wasn’t a bad read—it just wasn’t quite what I was expecting. If you’re into books with a lot of character-driven drama and a slow build, you might enjoy this. I was just hoping for something a little more fast-paced with a stronger focus on the supernatural side.

I’m trying to clean up my backlog and realized that while I had read and rated this on Goodreads in 2022, I never posted my review or provided feedback.
I enjoyed Alyson Noel’s Immortals series as it was being released so I was excited when I found out about the Stolen Beauty series.
Stealing Infinity was a fast-paced YA fantasy full of time-travel, secrets and romance. The time-travel was my favorite part of this and the history, tarot and numerology was a fun bonus.
I really liked Natasha as a main character and her relationship with Braxton though it feels like there’s a possible love triangle forming with Killian. I’m okay with this though because Killian quickly became one of my favorites.
I enjoyed the mystery surrounding Gray Wolf Academy and Natasha’s flashbacks of her missing father.

I’m looking forward to continuing the trilogy soon to find out what happens next!

I’m not much of a sci-fi fan, but now and then, a book comes along in the genre that really draws me in. I’ve always been a fan of Alyson Noël so I’m not surprised she could write sci-fi that I’d love.

The characters and the story really pull you in. It’s got plenty of action and an interesting plot I wasn’t expecting. And it’s the beginning of a series, so there is a lot more to come if you enjoy stealing infinity.

While the book itself sounded interested, it could've been better. I wish the book focused more on time-travel which was what I was originally interested in instead of the teenage drama. The growth of the characters could've been better; I wished we had seen Natasha struggle to achieve the skills she needed. And the romance would've been better if it had the time to grow

Natasha is a fairly typical teenager. She's being raised by a single mother after her father left them. She's unpopular at school but has made friends with the coolest girl in school, Elodie. After some bad choices, she has no choice but to go to this very exclusive bording school Greywolf. From there, her life changes in ways she could never imagine were possible.

I have never read a book like this! It took me completely by surprise in a very good way. I thought it was a very original concept and I can't wait to read the next book in the series.

This feels truly YA-with some Crave vibes. The FMC being caught up in infatuation, coming to power, being thrust into a new world. It was a lot of information in building the world and felt shoveled in.

I wanted to love this book! I really enjoyed previous books that I've read by Alyson but this one was not grabbing my attention enough to keep going. DNF

This book let me down as the fantasy elements took an extended period to unravel. Despite anticipating an adventurous plot based on the description, the story unfolded slowly with limited excitement. I plan to try the second book, hoping for a more thrilling experience.

DNFed around the 13% mark. I thought this sounded like a really cool new take on the magic school, dark academia setting. However, the writing and set-up really missed the mark for me. The main character is a stereo-typical "not like other girls" type. Additionally, I did not like the high-jacking of her life and her preferred name. She is gas-lit and manipulated into a life at this academy and is not even properly informed about why she was selected as a student. and she slowly begins to lose all her autonomy. No matter what unravels in the story, I have decided that this beginning is not worth the outcome.

The premise of Stealing Infinity is good and has potential. However, it takes an eternity to get to the point and for the plot to move forward. 130 chapters in one book is also a little excessive. I love time travel, love triangles, and teen drama, which this book has, but overall there is a lot of story, but not much substance, and then the ending or lack thereof leaves one wanting after so many pages.

The plot and characters had me wanting more. The time travel and the trust that shouldn’t be given. This author has grabbed my attention before and she didn’t disappoint here. The main character had me yelling at times but I still have some questions…maybe another book is needed to answer them.

"Stealing Infinity" is a very appropriate name for this book. It just takes forever to get through and even then it is not over. It just goes on and on. I have read this author before and enjoyed their past writings, for the most part. This, though, really missed the mark for me. It was just way too much dumped on the read all at once. Most of it I had a hard time trying to connect to having any real consequence in the story. On top of that, it just didn't feel like something from such an established author. It read very poorly on top of being so-ooo slow.

I read this one a while back, but I enjoyed it a lot. I loved the time traveling / secret society aspects, especially as they worked together with the overall mystery and questions that emerge throughout the novel. Our love interest is incredibly charming but not quite trustworthy, which... I liked, but I also found myself getting frustrated with the main character's utter trust in her new relationship with him. I was pulled in by the vibes, but I still have too many questions. One day, I will hopefully get to the sequel and get some answers!

Tise story was written so smoothly that the pages flew by without even realizing the end was sneaking up. Ever finish a book to find yourself devastated that you are back in the real world? That was this book for me. I simply cannot wait until the to read the second book Ruling Destiny.

Bemused at why the rich, beautiful, and poplar girl choose her of all the students to befriend here, but that doesn't stop her from letting herself become her friend even when her ride or die bestie, Mason, warns her against it. Whisked away in the middle of the day Nat has no idea how upside down her life is about to flip. Facing crimes she doesn't remember doing she sits in jail only to be bailed out by a stranger with familiar eyes. He gives her a choice that will garentee a new life for not only herself, but her mother too. Is this too good to be true? Is this fresh start at a boarding school all that simple? Can she leave the past behind? What new life awaits her in a place far from the life she knows with people she isn't sure she can trust.

Nat has been sent to Grey Wolf Academy and trained to steal relics from other time periods. She goes along with it, not truly understanding, but going along. There’s love interests, there’s a lot of teen drama, there is discovery of her own talents and strengths, and she must decide where her moral compass points.

Love the cover art!! Overall just an ok read. I am reviewing this a couple months after reading and actually had to look at other reviews to remember the story- not a good sign I probably won’t be reading the next book in the series.

Got my hands on a pre-released copy for an honest review, and I have to say, it was quite a thrill!
I gotta hand it to the writer, they created a wild ride with a mix of time-travel, heists, and a dash of mystery surrounding the main character's missing dad. The characters definitely kept me on my toes, each with their own distinct persona (although I can't say I was a fan of any of them).
I'll admit, there were moments where I had no clue what was going on, and the main character's decisions left me wanting to pull my hair out. But hey, it wasn't all bad. The insta-love was there, but surprisingly, not enough to make me want to hurl the book across the room. I may not ship them, but I didn't hate it either.
All in all, this book had some downfalls (seriously, why did no one question the father's disappearance?) but I'm definitely curious to see where this adventure leads. Shout out to the author, publisher and NetGalley for the sneak peek!

This one started out intriguing and I was really into it. I'm not sure what happened but I starting losing interest towards the end and I ended up skimming some parts. I think maybe because I know very little about tarot and astrology and things like that. The whole premise is really good though and I hope the next book tells more of what really is going on!
