Thank you to NetGalley for giving me an ARC in exchange for an honest review.. I was taken in from the first chapter. I loved the character development, as they were characters I loved and those I really disliked. I found myself wanting to give Natasha advice and getting frustrated with the situation she put herself in. It’s a great story where the past is tied to the future, where deceit I’d disguised as friendship and what you remember may be the key to finding out who you should be. Where’re trust should be earned not freely given without a firm foundation. Stealing Infinity has all of these aspects and so much more! I love the way the book is written and can’t wait to read the next book to see if Natasha figures out her role in history and how Important she is in the grand scheme she finds herself in.

I got a lot of thoughts about this one. On one hand, it's your very typical YA book, girl gets roped into a magical school, is super confused, the reader is super confused. Girl falls in love almost instantly with magical boy I do not trust. At first the writing felt a bit more middle-grade. Then we actually get into the time traveling aspect(which is called tripping? why did we give time traveling the same word as doing drugs?). Things start to get a bit more interesting, we find out people are disappearing and something bigger seems to be at play. She starts finding magical objects. I liked the found family aspects vs also not knowing who to trust. There's also some side sapphic rep! I'll probably read the next one. I'd recommend if you like YA books. I liked the tarot card/numerology aspects. TW for attempted rape.

I’ve only recently started reading time travel books, and I confess, while it’s not my favorite trope, when it’s done and researched well, I find it incredibly exciting. So while Stealing Infinity took a bit to get into, it was most certainly exciting.

Though there were secrets that didn’t always make sense. Two days into the school, Natasha still didn’t know what was happening. I didn’t feel there was a need for such secrecy. She’s stuck there, so why not make the most of it and get started on what she can expect?

I read another review that wasn’t happy with the sweatshirt system, and I can see both sides. Being the only person without a blue sweatshirt definitely makes a person feel like an outcast. More so because Natasha is away from her mom, and she only knows two people, though only one of them superficially. She’s also feeling betrayed. So I can see how it would be both incredibly isolating yet encouraging for a person to strive to get to a better shirt color.

Shirt colors aside, once Natasha found her groove and calmed down a bit, I liked her. The more she learned of the school, the more she grew on you. She was taking all these classes, which were glossed over. It would have been nice to see her growth.

I like how art and its appreciation are deeply woven into the school. Noël has done a superb job with the characters, who are in-depth and sometimes sketchy, such as Elodie. The author wrote Elodie so well that I distrusted her from the start. I also appreciated the attempted drop of theoretical physics, though I don’t agree that duality of existence results in non-existence. But I don’t have to agree to enjoy the book.

It will be interesting to see where book two will lead. And I knew this was a book 1 going into it, but still... I don’t want to wait until next year for the next book. Thank you, Entangled Publishing, for sending this along!

WOW, this book quite literally played like a movie in my head. From the first chapter to the last, I perfectly pictured every scene and was immediately completely enthralled and invested on this story. I’d say this book is definitely for fans of movies like the DaVinci Code and Angels and Demons. Alyson Noël went into great depths when researching not only history, but tarot and numerology as well. What’s even more amazing is the note at the start of the book to explain such things so everyone can have a grasp of what she’s mentioning throughout the story.

Going into this read, I was a bit nervous I’d get lost since I knew there would be “time jumping” throughout the book, but the whole story was just seamless and not remotely confusing to follow.

There’s dashing men, mystery, and ton of history , secrets and even lessons learned. Stealing Infinity is a new favorite of mine for 2022 and I hope you pick it up and enjoy getting lost between the pages like I did!

A brilliant take on time travel that has you thinking what if from the very first mention of it. From masquerade balls, to kidnappings to impossible fiery relationships, this book has absolutely everything I look for in a YA fantasy book.

Nat has had more than her fair share of ups and downs, she finally finds a place where she almost feels like herself with her best friend Elodie.

A day of skipping school at Club Arcana and laughing at what she sees will change her life forever and open possibilities that she couldn't even imagine and make her realize she has no understanding of what the world can be , if she's willing to pay the price.

An impossible to find private school, Gray Wolf academy is right out of my dreams, somewhere between castles, and classrooms I fell in love with the world we see being built in Stealing Infinity (I found myself thinking about the setting in every scene and it was a fantastic roller coaster of emotions and mental visuals that kept me glued to the page... well tablet).

Situated in the middle of nowhere, Nat finds herself feeling more alone than she ever has, questioning every relationship she thinks she knows and weary of the people she's learning she's supposed to depend on. All while learning to time travel, steal, lie, fence, and even how to depend on people when she's been the one people depended on for so long.

As Nat makes her way through the tests and trials we see her become her own person, wrestle with morality and make decisions that could have life or death consequences for more than just her. With her newfound friends will she be able to be all that Arthur expects her to be or will disappointing the ominous Mr. Blackstone send her back to a life that she can't bear to think of now.

A twisting and turning, centuries spanning story that pulls you in with such visual storytelling that you feel like you're there. This is a master class in YA storytelling. that leaves the reader wanting and needing more.

I loved it so much I've ordered a physical copy and pre-ordered the second installment in this series. Thank you to NetGalley for providing an e-arc in exchange for an honest review.

I received this ARC in exchange for my honest review.

First off, this cover is amazing! I read a few books by this author years ago and I was excited to try another one. The concept is great and it was a good read overall.

I used to read a lot of Alyson Noel's works when I had just entered my teens. Stealing Infinity really reminds me of those time. It feels like a classic YA fantasy. For the most part, I really enjoyed reading it. Time travel portrayed in this book was damn interesting and a unique take on the concept. Unfortunately, I felt that the pacing was a little too slow. The first couple of chapters were fun and action-packed, but after that when the scenes at Gray Wolf Academy began, I felt the pacing slowed. The middle was almost a pain to get through, but when the action picked up, it did pick up.

I'd be honest here; I did not really like Natasha at first. She was a tad bit annoying at the beginning, but she really grew on me. She's strong, determined and brave and I loved seeing her grow throughout the story. While this wasn't a favourite, I think the ending has made me excited to see where things go.

When she gets into trouble, for something she doesn't remember doing, Natasha is 'rescued' by the mysterious Braxton who like a whirlwind changes her life and takes her to Gray Wolf Academy. The school is actually for time travelers, it's true purpose a mystery for Natasha to solve.

The relatable, I'm-sharing-my-life-story narrative grabs you from the beginning. The pacing is precisely what is needed to take in all the aspects of this wonderful mythology and to keep you on your toes. The POV is intimate in its honesty of the character, insightful and quite inviting.

Natasha is the type of character you immediately root for. The underdog, and I have a soft spot for those. She has a 'takes no prisoners' attitude, is obviously stubborn, bit of a smart-ass, but that is the prickly exterior. She is in fact covering up how sensitive and cautious she feels. She is determined, sometimes aggravating and braving than she thinks. Braxton is a myriad of emotions, a gorgeous and interesting enigma. Butting of heads is always enjoyable and in this case it's with a possible love interest/maybe ally/probable enemy.

Some things that didn't sit well with me were:
Even though I do like seeing Natasha's thoughts they sometimes tend to get repetitive and give us conclusions we've already made. The book was slow in parts, taking a while to get to the time traveling fun parts, and the ending seemed suddenly rushed, and I expected something more.

Noel has created a world where time traveling is a way of life, knowledge and wielding power. There is a whole other agenda at play here that has been hinted from the beginning. It is difficult to know who to trust. To discern who is friend and who is foe. Who is good and who is evil.

Quite readable, full of deception and danger, this story at its heart is an intriguing mystery sparked by an ancient puzzle. This first book presents a series full of promise.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for an advanced reader copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

This book was a very interesting on time travel. Throughout the book I could not fathom what would come next and I enjoyed how it kept me guessing as to what was happening at Gray Wolf academy. I am entranced and cannot wait to find out what happens next.

Stealing Infinity is like a slow burn. You have a sense from the first chapter what the future story likely entails, at least in part, but the unraveling (no pun intended — once you read the story you will understand this) of the intricate plot for the main character, Natasha (and the reader), is done slowly and methodically. The reader is provided just enough information about Arthur Blackstone, Gray Wolf Academy, and Natasha’s new “friends” to remain intrigued and want to find out what happens next. The blending of history, art, astrology, numerology and physics is creative and interesting. I like how Natasha, in her new world, comes to realize that her father, who mysteriously disappeared a few years ago, had been preparing her for her future with all the unusual things he had taught her. I look forward to the second book and the secrets that will be revealed.

I received a copy of the e-book via NetGalley in exchange for a review.

Take The Atlas Six and mix it with the Inheritance games and Jodi Taylor’s St. Mary’s series. An academy for time travelers recruits Natasha after her life goes down the toilet. They are trained to go back in time and steal expensive artifacts. But there is more than their secret benefactor wants and if they don’t get it, they get lost in time. Interesting read with a mysterious and intriguing mystery. Well worth the read.

Great characters and intrigue. some scenes were a little difficult to follow but that's only due to the time-bending aspects of hypnosis. Natasha did feel a little "poor little rich girl" and there was no way she should have trusted anyone at that school but the adventures were well worth the inevitable love triangle.

I'm really not one for the "chosen girl who whines all the time but it's amazing even if she can't see it" trope but the overall premise of this book intrigued me.

Vs, as a fan of history, tarot, and knowing some about numerology, this did grab my interest pretty quickly. It's easy to look passed the chosen girl thing, as the rest of the story and characters pull you in. There were some characters I wish I could have learned more about, but then that's what the squeal is for, I hope.

A book that has an academy in it? ✔️ A book about time travel? ✔️ A super intrigued me who absolutely got sucked into the plot and was rooting for the characters? ✔️

Holy crap this book is everything! I was granted an ARC thru NetGalley and I could not put it down. I would have read it in a day if life’s adulting didn’t need to be done.

The elements in this book meld into each other so good and the thrills are plenty. I loved the elements of tarot and alchemy and were used In such fantastic ways. I did enjoy the characters and the dynamics between the eclectic group the made up.

The book was left in a cliffhanger and leaving me wanting more! I need book 2 now please.

The idea was original and exciting but the execution flopped which was really too bad because I wanted to like this book.
I did like the shorter chapters, but the whole premise was a little convoluted and needed to be cleaned up and I think the characters could have been rounded out a bit more.

This is my first read by Alyson Noel. The story grabbed me from the very beginning, a time traveling Oliver Twist type novel. The story is a bit of a roller coaster and a page turner. I was completely engrossed on Natasha's journey and her growing relationship with Braxton, as well as the questions that continued to come up in her mind the more that the puzzle of her journey started to come together. Highly recommend this book. While it's obvious more to the story is coming, the story wraps up nicely while leaving the reader anticipating the next book for what happens next. Highly recommend.

This was a DNF for me. The cover and blurb sounded pretty cool but I found it very hard to get into the story. I got to the part where Natasha goes to Gray Wolf Academy and I was lost, didn’t get where things were going.

Stealing Infinity checked on quite a few pointers from my what-I-lookout-for-in-a-YA-book list (because it’s not a secret that I don’t enjoy YA anymore):

Gorgeous cover ✔️
Intriguing title ✔️
TIME-TRAVEL ✔️
An academy in the middle of nowhere unbeknownst to the world ✔️
Drool worthy descriptions of historical events and art ✔️
An author I had on my radar ✔️

So, basically, as soon as I saw the ARC was up for grabs, I requested for it and luckily was approved. Yay!

The story revolves around Nat, an eighteen year old who is forcibly brought to the Gray Wolf Academy (set up in a remote island harbouring a natural wormhole), run by the legendary, art collecting, tech trillionaire, Arthur Blackstone, who trains potential time travellers for an undisclosed agenda. As Nat settles down into the role of a full time tripper, she realises that Blackstone’s plans are far more sinister than she assumed. And in the middle of all of this, there are a few really hot guys, who do a fair job in distracting both Nat and me from digging the mystery.

Being the opening book for the Stolen Beauty series, it didn’t quite live up to the first book in the series standards; opening books are usually the best books (aren’t they?), but this was far from being great. While the story boasts of some great modern YA fantasy elements, there’s nothing to tie those together. The peculiar academy of trippers makes up for a sturdy skeleton, but the one-dimensional character building fails to add flesh to it. However, I did enjoy the suspense, the art references, and of course, the thrill of time travelling.

Go for it if time travelling and mysterious academies make you ecstatic!

This book got me. It’s not perfect, it is oh so addicting. I could not put it down. I read the book in one sitting. This book isn’t even officially out yet, but August already need to get my hands on the sequel.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for providing me with an eARC!

The prologue was super intriguing for me and I was invested. The author did a great job with the numerology and Tarot cards aspect. The story is full of twist and suspense.
