Stealing Infinity tells a story of time travellers with a pinch of romance, a lot of secrets and even more mystery. Gray Wolf Academy isn't how it seems - even if I don't know why yet. The whole book revealed so many questions and not many answers so as you can imagine I am dying for more!

The further into the book you get, the more intriguing the prologue becomes.

"When the boy does find my daughter - and he will - I can only hope it will lead to her uncovering this object."

Has she already met this mysterious blue eyed boy? What does he want with her? Why? How does this tie in with her current situation? Ms Noel, I need answers!

The novel began with an introduction to numerology (something I'd never heard of) and I loved that it was included as it was fun to workout and read up on my number - I'm an eight! You can see the amount of research and detail the author included and it was a fantastic touch!

Alyson Noel is an author who has been in my heart for years - way back when The Immortals series came out and Stealing Infinity did not disappoint. The gripping storyline had me from the beginning and I was desperate for more when it ended. The author took a trope I generally don't like (time travelling) and spun a tale that become one my favourite reads of the year.

what interested me in wanting to read this book was that it has time travel elements which i had always found fascinating, even better with some added romance. Stealing infinity is a mix of Sci-fi, time travel, mystery, art history, romance, tarot, numerology.. a school (Gray Wolf academy) of time traveling students that travel through time to steal historical artifacts. in a way it does have a bit of psychological thriller elements were you are trying to guess who are the good people and who are the bad. overall a good YA fantasy sci fi book to read.

I LOVED this book!!!! Time travel is not my favorite but in this book it was used in an amazingly magical way! This story is best if you go in knowing little about the plot. If you give it a try you will not be disappointed!

I really enjoyed this book. It was a brilliant story on time travel, art, and history all rolled into a young adult book. I loved learning more about the time periods and things that were needed to blend in when time traveling.
I thought that some of the book was too fast paced...for instance, the beginning where we barely get to meet Mason, her best friend, before she is whisked away. I didn't get a feel for her home life, and why at the start of the book numerology was so important.

OVerall this is a great fantasy young adult book.
I can't wait to read the next in the series....because all young adult books MUST Be a series now.

I realized this was part of a series and wished the next one was out already! I need to know how this is going to wrap up! Can’t wait until Feb when next one is out! This was a great YA fantasy romance with a fun time traveling element.

In this novel, Natasha has been failing school and making choices she knows she will regret. This includes making friends with Elodie, the new popular kid at school. The two girls skip school and next thing you know Nat is in more trouble than she has ever been in her life. Her choices lead her to a new unknown school with a purpose that Nat can’t figure out. Gray Wolf Academy has taken her in and plans on teaching her to use a gift she doesn’t know she has. Natasha realizes she can’t trust anyone at this new school even as she starts to have feelings for the mysterious boy who helped get her here. Can Natasha navigate this new world safely with her heart intact?

Based on the prologue I wasn’t sure I’d like this book. But I came to enjoy it and really get into the story! I can’t wait to read the next one and figure out what is going to happen next! I was so excited when Entangled sent me a digital copy so I could check it out! Thanks Entangled and NetGalley for introducing me to another new author!

Really loved the world this story built It's a little teen soap opera-y, but not enough to turn me off. Looking forward to book #2. The tarot/numerology stuff might be a little woo-woo for some, but I thought it lent to the story perfectly.

Honestly, just not a very good book! I would've rated it 3 stars but two things in the book knocked my rating down, which I'll discuss later.

First of all, the plot was good and it seemed interesting at first glance. One positive about the book was the casual LGBQT+ representation, which was really nice to see! And, as I read through the book, the plot was interesting and I would've wanted to know more except for the writing. The writing was just short of abysmal and sucked all the intrigue out of a (mostly) otherwise good book. It seemed very middle-grade for a book clearly geared towards older teens (as evidenced by the mention of sex every other chapter).

Once we got past the first part where Natasha gets introduced to the Academy, it gets pretty good. However, the first part (which was like half of the book btw), made me not want to finish it. There was this one scene where Natasha asks Braxton why the winds will factor into their travel time which made me literally so confused.

"Why would the wind make a difference?" I feel a little embarrassed to ask, but I really am curious.

Maybe I'm just bad but I thought it was kinda self-explanatory??? She continues with this theme of being pretty... stupid throughout the entire novel. It was just incredibly hard to root for her and she just came off as a brat. That throwaway mention about how she CRIED when her mom told her she wasn't adopted and was actually her real daughter because she wanted to be adopted??? completely mental.

In fact, all of the characters are either extremely shallow in terms of character development (partially understandable considering this is a series and they'll likely be fleshed out more in the future) or just completely unlikeable. Elodie is a stereotypical mean girl and Braxton is the typical brooding hot guy, and they are both people I feel like I have read about before many times over in Wattpad

Ok, now on to the two things that made this otherwise 3 star book turn into a 2 star book. Aside from the generally Wattpad-y writing, there was one very particular element that made me go this is exactly like a Wattpad novel and made me tempted to quit the book. The insta-love between Braxton and (Na)tasha. She went from being pissed at him for essentially kidnapping her to making out with him in a day?? Then setting boundaries to be just friends (which we see none of) before making out with him more. All the while noting that he keeps keeping secrets from her and is generally a red flag. Yay. Honestly, he has no redeeming qualities (or any qualities as far as I can tell) besides being hot?

The second thing that made me hate this book was the near-rape scene that occurs when Natasha in time traveling. To me, it just felt like it added nothing to the plot and would've been better off omitted. Its only purpose was to seemingly raise the stakes (which could've just been done with some old-fashioned torture IMO). Was it historically accurate? Maybe??? I honestly have no idea but the entire scene just seemed very forced for shock value.

Rating: 2/5 stars
Thanks to Net Galley and Entangled Teen for my eArc!

A hidden boarding school run by a sketchy tech millionaire, who recruits young students that no one will miss or look for when gone. A story about time travelling with teenagers stealing old artefacts from different time periods.

I LOVED this book. Great characters with a lot of mystery around them. I don’t know who Tasha (MC) should trust or not, and that was a very intense feeling throughout the book, betrayal were always right around the corner. Also, I felt multiple possibilities for love interest? But yeah I think we all already have a favourite. Hrghh Braxton.

The time travelling • The students had to learn etiquette from different time periods to blend in while travelling. This was scary and the odds were always very high. Also, all the mystery around the people Tasha meet while time travelling is something I’m intrigued to learn more about in the sequel.

The book ends with A LOT of questions but it’s a good build up for future books, and I’m so excited for the sequel that comes out already in February 2023. I need it now.

What a fun fast-paced read! This book is full of adventure, mystery, time-travel, mean girl drama, and romance. What more could you ask for? Can't wait for book 2, there are so many mysteries to be unraveled.

This had me hooked right away.
I had no idea how anything was going to play out, all the twists kept me engaged and guessing.
I adore the characters and the relationships they’re building through the book.

I can’t believe I have to wait for the next one

I loved this. I loved this so much.

I'm gonna be honest - I was intrigued by the blurb, but when I saw the author, I had my reservations since I remember Evermore being ... not great. And let me tell you - this is exactly why I give authors another shot years later. Just because you didn't like something a few years ago doesn't mean you'll always detest what they put out there.

This book was pretty much written for me - time travel, magical school set up with different factions (well, different color sweatshirts), mean girl, possible love triangle, deception... Oh man, it's like she reached into my brain and found all the things I like to mesh into a book.

I loved the time travel in here. I like the idea of "gets" - time travel with a mission. I also really liked that these "gets" of historical art really aren't the main focus. I don't know what the main focus of the trips are, but it's definitely not just art.

I've been thinking about this book all day and I need the next one now. Right now.

Natasha clarke was on a downward spiral when elodie blue comes in the picture. Shes miss popular, a fashionista and she set her sights on natasha. Her best friend warned her no good could come from the friendship, but nat didn't listen and low and behold she finds herself at a club with a boy she just met and doesn't know who to trust. When she wakes up in her class she questions if the club was even real, until her principal calls for her to come see him. Then she sees her locker being opened and a bunch of clothes being pulled out and suddenly she knows she's been set up. One thing leads to another and her life is about to change. Then she's off to Grey wolf academy. This book is super interesting and has elements of time travel, numerology and tarot reading. Can't wait for the next book!

Well, if you liked Crave (like I do) then you're probably going to enjoy this. I'm a sucker for Sci-fi (and SFF in general) so this hit that mark. And while I'm not super into Tarot, Zodiac, Numerology or anything in that lane - this was a really cool book. The amount of research it must've taken? It's amazing. I was a little put off at first, because it took a bit for the story to really get going. I wasn't the biggest fan of being lost with the MC, but overall, it picked up and I was invested. This book spent a really long time (practically the whole time) to set up the plot and the story, and I'm excited for book 2. I think things are really going to start happening, more is going to come to light.
Honestly, not disappointed and i had a good time.

Loved it! Fantastic 5 star read. Alyson Noel has been one of my favorite authors for quite a while since I read her Immortal series with Ever and Damon. This is the first I've read by her in a while and she's still one of my faves and writes masterpieces.

Here's the synopsis from Goodreads:
These days, I’ve been killing it when it comes to letting people down. Now I’ve been kicked out of high school, arrested, and accepted into a remote, off-the-grid school owned and operated by an inscrutable billionaire tech guru.

Gray Wolf Academy is looking for a certain kind of student. Ones that no one will miss. Like me.

Then there’s Braxton. The beautiful, oddly anachronistic guy who showed up right when the trouble started. And he’s a total enigma—which means that I definitely can’t trust him, even if there’s something about him that makes me want to.
They all tell me I have a gift. A very rare gift. And Gray Wolf Academy wants me to learn it. To use it. Because if what they say is true, I have all the time in the world.
And that makes me the most dangerous high school student you’ll never know…

This is for sure a lot like Riverdale meets The Da Vinci Code. Natasha and the students at Graywolf Academy are time travelers who are stealing historical artifacts for their headmaster. Nothing and no one are as they seem. It's hard to know who to trust, what to believe, and what to think about everything after Natasha is caught for a crime she didn't commit and taken away to the Graywolf Academy. There is a lot of mystery, intrigue, sci-fi, and fantasy elements along with the lush historical settings. The romance or romance(s) between Natasha and Braxton and maybe between Killian and Natasha. There are definitely swoon-worthy romances with lots of adventure and action.
The ending was a cliffhanger and I can't wait for the next installment of the series. I need it and I can't wait to read more of this amazing story and find out more about everything. The only thing with content/trigger warnings is that the MC experiences an attempted rape/sexual assault. I would highly recommend this if you love Alyson Noel. Time-traveling, found family trope, swoon-worthy romance, YA, lush settings, art, history, and such. Thanks so much to NetGalley and Entangled Publishing/Entangled Teen for letting me read and review this fabulous story. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

The pace of this book was a little hard to keep up with. before I could entirely wrap my head around something happening, a new thing would happen. But it felt like the author intentionally wrote the book this way because that was what the MC was experiencing. She was thrust into a world so different from her own AND put on the fast track before she could get her bearings. Writing like this really makes you feel like the MC does. It's kind of ingenious. I quite enjoyed the author's take on time travel. that you couldn't just blip into anywhere at any time from any place. IT had rules and limitations. While I understand that this book is not the end of the story, it left some questions unanswered and some things unresolved. I really hope that these things are finished up in the future.

I read something I have never read before, I loved the way the plot takes up the twists and turns and molds it into a fantastic journey for Tasha (she’s the MC and her name is Natasha). The concept, the world-building is done in such a strategic way that it lures me in and kept me hooked the entire time. This book is pretty unique in its own sense with a modern touch and a mix of times. This is the first book I read by Alyson Noel and simply loved her writing. The story started with a very interesting PROLOGUE which ignites the curiosity to feed the mind by reading further and unraveling the story layer by layer.

Things were a little difficult to understand in some places but are explained wherever needed, nothing before the point nor after just at the perfect time. Braxton is the character I want to know more off and want to know his pov too at many places. The chemistry between him and Tasha is adorable and unmissable. We get to see other characters and their personalities which gives an edge to the story that drives Natasha’s life. Arthur is the mysterious man who is planning something big and Tasha seems to be a key to it, I’m wondering what other things will happen in the next book that now she has started figuring herself out too.

I wanted to read this book as soon as I saw it was available to request on Netgalley. I put my name in as a wish from the publisher, Entangled Teen. Then I entered to win an influencer’s box from Entangled Teen. To my surprise I won the box and two days later, my wish was granted on Netgalley! I was meant to read this book.

Natasha–Nat, as she prefers–is in the middle of a pretty trying time. Her mom isn’t dealing very well and most of the “adulting” falls on Nat’s shoulders. Let’s face it, being a teenager and trying to make it through high school is hard enough on its own. She makes a new friend, one that brings her up a notch in popularity–or at least whenever Elodie is around her. That’s when Nat’s world implodes.

After walking into Gray Wolf Academy for the first time, Nat has determined to escape and get back home where she belongs–or at least where she knows what to expect. But Braxton makes that plan seem a little less important. He makes her feel things she’s never felt before–things she doesn’t want to feel for him, someone she can’t even trust.

I love the journey Natasha is on. She needs to figure out how to not only make it in this new reality of hers, but also how to thrive in it. She feels abandoned by her parents and now she misses her best friend, Mason, who she had to leave behind when she had to go. Gray Wolf Academy and her new life there might be the thing that brings her through–even though it’s painful and hard to understand at first. I can relate to some of how Natasha is feeling.

Braxton is my favorite character. He surprised me. It seems he’s on a journey of his own. He tries to put on the brave face, showing everyone just how strong and unaffected he is. But, somewhere under all of that bravado, he has some very real feelings to deal with. Natasha just might be the one to help him learn that showing your feelings isn’t a sign of weakness.

Elodie is my least favorite character. She is definitely written so that I’d like to fling her into the icy abyss. We all know people like her. I hope she either has a complete turnaround or gets what she’s got coming.

I loved this story’s magical elements. It just made things that are impossible in real life seem completely possible. I’ve always wanted to visit other time periods. If I could have only one magical power, time travel would be my choice. I love the intrigue and mystery too. It came off with some “Mission Impossible” vibes, only with time travel.

I highly recommend this book to fans of YA Fantasy, YA Fantasy Romance, Epic Fantasy, time travel, forbidden romance, slow burn romance, and unique magical systems. I so hope I get to be an influencer for Book 2, Ruling Destiny, due to release in February, 2023!

I despised every single character in this book and the plot was practically non-existent. As much as I love confusing plots or books that are character-driven this book was neither. The writing style was so juvenile and atrocious that I had to physically look away at some times ["I cock my hip, shake my hair and adopt a vacant expression, like a girl in a misogynistic music video."] and the main character was the definition of the chose one/Mary Sue/not like other girls trope all in one.

Stealing Infinity is a fantastic story about traveling through time, building relationships, and searching for something. I felt like I was on w old ride through lots of drama with a twist of mystery trying to figure out a puzzle. I cannot wait to find out what happens next! I am addicted to this story.

Stealing Infinity is quite a book! Time travel is a big concept to wrap your head around, and time traveling thieves even more so. The premise of Stealing Infinity is that these kids are chosen by a rich billionaire to go to his special school where he trains them in the arts of deportment, language, horsemanship, weaponry, etc, and then send them back in time to important moments in history to steal jewelry, paintings, even statues. The whole book follows Natasha, who has been chosen to go to this special school and must navigate its choppy, sometimes dangerous, waters. The book was interesting and enjoyable, but not my favorite due to a lot of confusing elements and the fact that I didn't find Natasha to be a compelling main character. I give it 3 stars.
