Really, really cute! Jenna reminded me a little bit of Eleanor Oliphant, who I just absolutely adore. Loved the story development and all of the characters. I laughed and swooned and just felt so happy when it was all over.

Very cute, quick romance read. This book had a unique premise for the plot that I haven't read in the genre before, too. I love the guinea pigs and the animal rescue where much of the story takes place and any book with animals is always a plus.
DNFinf at 20% because this book just isn't for me. And forcing myself to finish it will only result in me being grumpy and rating it lower than it deserves, which isn't fair to the author
3 stars, for me, means "it wasn't for me, but would still recommend to someone looking for a book in this genre." Which is how I feel about this book. It's well written, the characters are engaging, and the story was shaping up to be interesting
But I just *can't* do "the main character is in a relationship but the boyfriend turns out to be a jerk because the plot calls for it" especially because it's always coupled with "the main character realizes this when she meets a man who's better suited to her." Jenna and Matt's relationship, we're told is practical, not romantic. Maybe I'm just too practical, because all Jenna's examples were romantic in their own sort of way, I'd love to have a boyfriend look out for me like that
Don't get me wrong, I do see the flaws in their relationship. But those aren't ultimately the reason Jenna and Matt are going to break up, I can already see that. They're going to break up because Jenna wants the more romantic relationship Henry can offer her (which, I'm not objecting to Jenna wanting more, I'm objecting to Jenna wanting more from Henry, which makes it cheating no matter how you dress it up)
All in all, the book just isn't for me. However, if you're looking for a sweet, Hallmark-esque romance, I'd recommend. I can already tell Jenna and Henry are going to be very soft and fun and there's a guinea pig rescue that plays in somehow so like...that's cool!

A great story. Set around a guinea pig rescue centre and a useless x boyfriend and a lovely love story with a great ending. The idea of buy other people’s unpaid storage was great and it led to a brilliant read and a proper ending
