This picture book is a collection of songs from a children's performer, Charlotte Diamond. Each page is filled with the lyrics of simple and fun songs about animals. For children who are already familiar with her songs, I could see this being a fun read aloud at home or in preschool/kindergarten. For children who have not heard the song, I think this would still be an excellent book to help teach rhyming and fluency which are important concepts in early reading. As a teacher, I would recommend this book for teachers and families of young children in the age 2-6 range.

This is the cutest book! My son loved listening to the rhymes and seeing all the different animals. He especially loved the Sasquatch.

The illustrations are so cute and colorful. I can’t wait to add this to my son’s bookshelf.
