Slow pacing. Unfortunately a very unmemorable plot. Can’t say this is a must read for a holiday season.

Tried to enjoy this book but it just wasn’t for me. Not sure if it was the writing style but I couldn’t connect with it.

Clark and Merry’s story was perfect! I had so much fun with this holiday romance. This was my first book by this author but it won’t be the last.

Great holiday story, along with the others in this series. This one is an opposites attract story of a single dad and the two need to work together on the farm. Gonna be honest, I read this awhile ago and it really didn't stick with me - I barely remember it. I think that says it all.

I adored Nick and Noel's Christmas Playlist, so I was really excited for this next book in the series. Unfortunately, There's Something About Merry was just missing some of that MAGIC that Nick and Noel brought. It was fine, but not something I need to shout about from the rooftops.

I enjoyed this book very much. I loved the character development and the seamless writing. This is my first book from this author and will definitely read again.

Sadly this is a case of it's me, not you. I tried this book many times and I just am not feeling it. It isn't the book for me but that doesn't mean it isn't the book for you.

This book had such a sweet, Hallmarky feel to it! It was the perfect read this Christmas season! Clark and Merry were complete opposites, and I felt their personalties complimented one another. I also appreciated how we didn't have to wait until the end for them to get tougher. The online dating piece was adorable as well!

Overall, this story is perfect for those who love watching Hallmark 24/7 during the holiday season! I loved this story so much!

I wish I would have prioritized this during the holiday season, but alas I did not.

That being said, I loved it! Such a fun book with some tropes I love. I looove a steamy lil holiday read!

I really enjoyed this book and its Christmas theme. This really brought on all the emotions and I can't wait to read more from Codi Hall!

If Codi Hall has a holiday book (she has three now), I will absolutely read it. A single dad isn't usually my thing, but Clark was super sweet and the dynamic with Merry and Clark's kid was perfect. I loved that the drama never got too out of hand as well. It really is just a perfect Christmastime read. If you're looking for small town romance with a some entertaining characters and a little bit of steam, I highly recommend this one!

I adored this Christmas read. It's sweet, fun, and a little spicy. Merry's family is the right amount of nosy, they're hilarious and supportive. We have single dad Clark returning to his small home town to raise his son. He ends up employed by Merry's family. Merry had hoped to take over her family's Christmas tree farm when her dad decides to retire. Of course they knew about each other in school but never really interacted. After signing up for the same dating app and being matched, awkwardness ensues. Jace is adorable and was perfection in helping bring Clark and Merry together. Overall this is a great read, it's Hallmark with a little bit of spice, low drama, and a lot of heart and humor.

First and foremost, this can definitely be read as a stand-alone. Nick and Noel were so fun to read about last year, but they’re honestly a blip in this story. It’s all about Jace, Clark, and Merry. I loved how we really got to know the family and the family business and see the foundation of what the Winters are like. ⁣

I breezed through this book in about a day. It was fun to read through the exchanges on the dating site and also how they interacted face to face. Victoria and Jace both stole my heart, and their grandparent/child ish relationship was the sweetest. Merry and Clark were great individually, and Merry’s little side hustle had me giggling. ⁣

I will say the Patrice storyline I did not care for. If we needed a third act shakeup, it was there, but I wasn’t a fan of it. There are some steamy scenes, so this is not a closed door romance. ⁣

Overall, a quick and fun installment in the Mistletoe Romance series. Can be read standalone, and I need Holly’s book like yesterday. Out now!

Such a fun holiday read. I was so glad when I got There’s Something About Merry, the second book in the Mistletoe Romance series. I really enjoyed the first book, so I started reading this immediately. A single dad, comes back to the town he was raised in. A lot has changed, since he left. But he wants to find a place to call home and this just might be it. He also gets a dream job, with a great housing situation. Clark Griffin, is guarded though. He hasn’t had a great time in the relationship department and with a son to protect, he has to find the absolute best person. Is that realistic? On the farm where he lives and works he meets a young lady named Merry. Her parents own the farm and Merry would some day love to run it. But her parents hired Clark. Why would they do that to her? They know she wants to run the farm.. Needless to say Clark and Merry get off on the wrong foot. They both have their issues and it seems impossible that they could ever be friends.. but can they be friends? can they work together? Could their be a Christmas miracle? This book was so fun to read. I love a holiday book and this one didn’t disappoint. I want to thank Netgalley and Codi Hall for my copy, for an honest review. It was my pleasure to read and review. This was a 4 star read for me.. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

There’s Something About Merry was like a warm hug on a winter day! So cute and full of holiday cheer! I read it a couple weeks ago and was so satisfied with the book that I completely forgot to review it! 😂

This book reminded me of a Christmas-y themed You've Got Mail. It was just so sweet and uncomplicated with very little drama. It was honestly exactly the type of book I needed this past month.

The writing style is very easy to read and the characters all shone in different ways. The pacing was a bit wonky for me at parts but that could just be me. The story building is done so well that the pacing thing was never an issue for me. Plus there’s a few spicy bits which is always nice!

Honestly, if you want a cute Christmas book this is definitely one I would recommend! Can’t wait to see what Codi Hall does next!

This was a quick and easy short holiday read with very little drama and angst that can put you in the Christmas spirit.

Griffin and Merry are adorable together and completely determined to stay just friends until those plans go right out the window.

There are lots of sweet holiday moments throughout this book that will make you feel like the holidays are right around the corner.
