It was an easy to read and a standalone like hello??
The opening was such a hook like I could not put it down
They all just needed a hug and thats okay
It was also kind of a meh read but maybe I would read the rest of the series??
I could not put this book down. It was so freaking addictive. You can see that the author's writing has improved and that she truly knew how she wanted to end this series. The plot was great, the smut was hot, and the characters were all superb. I really enjoyed myself.
This was my first foray into the world of the Rosetti family and I was pleasantly surprised. I loved Rome's alpha personality. He would definitely be someone that I would want as an ally rather than as an enemy. I had a harder time connecting with Ash in the beginning because I wasn't sure where her story was going to go, but ultimately I loved these two together. While Ash is maybe not doing things exactly on the up and up, you can't help but root for her. I felt the connection between Ash and Rome, both the good and the bad. It was a fluid dynamic and not at all forced. I felt as if I had a front row seat to their story and could easily have them be a real life couple.
Quick read that leaves you wanting more of the Rosetti bad boys!
Thank you NetGalley for the eARC. This is apparently part of a series that i didnt read. It did Ok as a stand alone though! I do plan to read the other books now because this one was good!!! Very good storyline! I liked it!! Not over the top with sex but perfect amount of action !
Oh my goodness I really enjoyed this one! It was steamy and romantic, and the storyline compelling. I’ll be wanting to add a paperback to my bookshelf collection soon!
I love everything about Ash and Rome. He’s the ultimate possessive, filthy-mouthed alpha protector and exactly what Ash needed. She’s a total badass, a math whiz forced to work for the Irish mob and just desperate enough to escape their reach that she’ll skim to fund a new life. Their connection was instant but so many things kept getting in the way, the tension was off the charts. Their story is hot, suspenseful and everything I wanted. They’re adorable together but also hot as hell.
Melanie Munton is quickly becoming a favorite because whether it’s cowboys or big city mafia bosses, everything she writes comes to life on the page. Her stories always play like a movie in my head. I love her writing style so much and always want more. The dialogue is spot on and so realistic, I get lost in her stories. This one pulled me in from the first page. I couldn’t put it down and was so disappointed when it was over, but I did love the ending. Highly recommend.
*Not part of the review but want to mention I posted my review on Amazon but am still waiting for it to show up days later. It doesn't normally take this long + the other reviews I posted that day are all live.
A complimentary copy was given for my honest review and opinion. The Rossetti brothers have my heart. I have loved each story featuring one of them and this one is one of the best. The depth and raw feelings in this book will have you staying up late to finish it. ARC copy provided by NetGalley.
I am going to miss the Rossetti brothers. This has been my favorite series by this author and Rome quickly became my favorite brother. The chemistry between him and Ash is off the charts.
These books are full of alpha men, strong women, sexy romance, family, action and suspense. In this last book we get a very satisfying conclusion to the overall plot arc. . And more to look forward to as little sis will be getting her own book to kick off a new series which I'm very excited about.
I loved that Ash and Rome's road was bumpier. Their circumstances were realistic and had me completely invested in the outcome. There was just so much that happened in this story and I don't want to spoil it. I will say you're going to love papa bear Enzo!
Ash has been living in hell and is trying so hard to escape and take her mom with her. For now, Ash is working in a bar and working the books the for the devil who runs her hell. Rome has been a piece of the man he used to be since he left the army. He will never experience what his four brothers have. Each of his brothers have found the woman of their dreams and are so happy it breaks Rome’s heart to know that will never be him. He has accepted that he will always suffer guilt and struggle with PTSD. He is at a bar celebrating his birthday with his family when his world is tilted on its axis. Rome sees a beautiful woman with red hair that would light up the darkest of places. He knows right then and there that this is his woman and he is determined to make her see it that way. Ash knows everything in life worth having will never be easy. Will she be able to get out of hell alive and still have Rome there with her in the end? I was given an ARC through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
