I received a complimentary copy of Cowboy's Sexy Ex in exchange for an honest review. I read this as a standalone. This was a very predictable 2nd chance romance. It was well written, but it's a story that's been told dozens of times. Good read, but nothing to "wow" about.

It's entertaining. Some things are quite predictable but it's ok.
However, she can be a bit annoying and he can be annoying too. It is crystal clear that they cannot live with each other from the beginning! :)

I really enjoyed returning to Windy Creek. The author has created such a wonderful small town with captivating characters.

I could not get enough of this book! I absolutely loved the characters, they made me smile and laugh to myself. I thought the story was beautifully written and was captivating. The romance was steamy and the characters felt genuine and had depth.

If you are looking for an amazing second chance romance, you must read this one!!!

This is a good book. The two main characters are Sally and Jarod. They were boyfriend and girlfriend through high school. Jarod asked Sally to move to Hollywood after high school and she told him she couldn’t leave her family. Ten years later Jarod came home to his aunt and uncle’s dude ranch, after he got hurt being a stuntman. Sally worked as a chef at the ranch. There was still a mutual attraction. His aunt and uncle wanted to retire and wanted Jarod to be a partner and eventually but them out of the ranch. He had some big decisions to make. It took some time but worked it out that he loved the ranch and Sally and that was all he needed. He and Sally feel in love.

When I think of romance, I think of books just like this one, that gives all the feels and satisfies every romance junkies' heart. This is a perfect books to snuggle up with on any day.

Another engaging and entertaining story by this talented author. It is a heartwarming, second chance story that captured my interest and held it till the end. Sally and Jarod had been in love, but when Jarod wanted to move to California, Sally decided to stay in Windy Creek because her family needed her. Jarod is now back in town and his aunt and uncle want him to run their ranch. He's not sure whether or not he wants to stay. As it so happens, Sally is an employee of that ranch and Jarod comes to realize his feelings for her are still there. Opportunities present themselves making it harder for Jarod to decide what to do. He can either continue his career, or settle down and be with the woman he loves. Jarod has a lot to work through before making his decision. Then something happens that just might nudge him in the right direction. This is a very well-written story with plenty of drama that will keep you turning the pages. A very enjoyable and entertaining story for sure!

Tensions rise when rumors start to fly about what will happen with the ranch.

Sally and Jarod have to work together after years apart and a breakup. The story follows them getting to know each other again and how they battle against outside events that mean that the decisions that they are making are not their own. A good story however I struggled to empathise with Sally and her decisions and behaviours. It made cheering on for a happy ending hard.

Thoroughly enjoyed this story about Jarod and Sally who were childhood sweethearts until he went to follow his dream of being a stuntman in California. He comes back to his Aunt and Uncle’s ranch after an accident on set and the romance between himself and Sally is re-ignited but will he stay or go back to California? Just finished reading Cowboy's Sexy Ex - thank you NetGalley for an advanced copy. This book was pretty was written, although a bit slow moving and I had issue with a few parts of the story. Mild spoilers ahead. It is the second chance story between Sally and Jarod. Jarod left 10 years before to pursue his dreams and Sally stayed to be a martyr. I didn't really buy into the reasons she couldn't go with Jarod 10 years earlier. While I didn't like that Jarod just left when she said she couldn't go, I did understand that he needed to go. Another thing, if he was such a successful stuntman, why was he in debt from his hospital stay? Shouldn't the movie have paid for everything since he got hurt doing a stunt? I think the author should think about rewriting this part and leave out the debt part. It also talked about all of his debt at the beginning, but never again...how was he going to pay it off, did it just disappear? Okay. With all of that said, it really was pretty good. Strong 3 stars.

Jarod just needs a reason to stay. Sally has been responsible for her mom and sisters for too long. The past works in their favor to rekindle what they had 10 years ago. Cowboy's Sexy Ex, is a fantastic romance novel.
