I felt that the writing in this book didn’t always connect with the points being made. Examples in history were not given the same nuance that was needed to understand what is happening in 2022. It also already felt a little dated. Someone 2 months from now will know even more.

Kuttner does an outstanding job of reminding us of times when the the government and American society worked together to solve big problems and more the country forward. We've allowed ourselves to be roped into small strides by small, selfish minds. He effectively makes the case that big ideas and big solutions are the only ways to move forward.
