This is an interesting book. As someone who is slowly trying to read more of the self help genre it struck me as interesting but not entirely groundbreaking. I think my biggest concern with the book is that it's really group focused but it's not a book that lends itself to being read in a group format. It felt like a book that you and a group would all read separately and then do the REACH group portions. The more I thought about it and the more Thurgood explained the purpose of the groups though this approach felt unwieldy and hard to make happen. Maybe someone who is more familar with the self-help genre would have a more positive review.
