I liked this story but it was not super memorable. Grayson and Brooke were likeable enough, but I didn't totally buy their love story. I am usually a huge fan of second chance romances but this one missed the mark.

I hated this book. It was boring and dull. Sorry it just wasn't for me. I also found it extremely predictable, the so called twist was not a twist at all.

I love second chances. Grayson Blisswood not only got a second chance with his high school sweetheart, but a third. Will he finally realize what is really important? His dream was architecture, not working n the family business, Olive Owl, so he didn't look back on his small home town or Brooke Rivers, the girl he left behind, not even asking if she would come with him. But they got a second chance four years ago when they were both in town, but he wasn't willing to fight for them. Now he is back to take care of his teenage sister and Brooke is living next door with the cutest little 3 year old, Rosie. Will she give him the chance to break her heart again? It doesn't take a lot of imagination to know how this ends, so I found the "conflict" toward the end silly. Still I like the characters, banter and the author's writing style.

I read an ARC provided by NetGalley.com. The is my unbiased and voluntary review.

What a fantastic start to a series. I can’t wait to read the rest. This was a new author to me and I won’t hesitate to read more I was hooked from the off. First love second chance romance mixed in with some neighbour single parent action and your onto a winner. I really enjoyed the direction this story took. Both our main characters had strong storylines that ran along side to the romance. They were like magnets that just couldn’t keep apart and it was great to see them fall back in love despite many obstacles. Excited to see where the next story takes us

Sexy, just what I needed right now

ARC Complimentary copy provided by NetGalley. Opinions are my own. Brooke and Grayson are the perfect couple then life gets in the way. There are secrets and decisions that cause problems when they think about getting back together but love does conquer in this book.

I know I'm in the minority here, but I didn't care for this story. Second chance romances is one of my top 5 romance tropes, so the nature of the story isn't my issue. What I didn't like was that our hero Grayson, really didn't seem to love Brooke. He sure wanted sexy time, but his inner monologue lacked thoughts of love, instead focusing on lust and conquest. Overall, an ok story. *I received an ARC of this book from NetGalley and this is my voluntary and honest review.

3.75 stars --SOMETHING RIGHT is the first instalment in EH Lyon’s contemporary, adult THE BLISSWOOD BROTHERS erotic, romance series. This is former high school sweethearts, architect Grayson Blisswood, and single mother/ hospital administrator Brooke Rivers’ story line.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Grayson and Brooke) SOMETHING RIGHT follows the second chance romance and relationship between former high school sweethearts, architect Grayson Blisswood, and single mother/ hospital administrator Brooke Rivers. Twelve years earlier Grayson Blisswood left the small town of Bluetop Illinois heading for bigger and better things, leaving a heartbroken Brooke Rivers’ behind. With only the occasional visit back home, Grayson would eventually settle down in Chicago, never forgetting about the woman he left back home but weeks after their last visit, Brooke announces she is pregnant with someone else’s baby, sending Grayson into a spiral of loss and love. Fast forward to present day, Grayson returns to Bluetop, Illinois in the wake of his father’s death, to look after his sixteen year old sister Lucy but Grayson never expected to pick up with Brooke, from where they left off, until the heart demands more than a passing interest. What ensues is the rebuilding romance and relationship between Brooke and Grayson, and the potential fall-out when the truth is revealed throwing our couple into another spiral from where they may not return.

Grayson Blisswood has never stopped loving Brooke Rivers but school, life and a career as an architect sent Grayson to the big city where he started on the ladder of success. Never expecting to come home to look after his younger sister, or work the family owned winery and farm, Grayson struggles with his return to Bluetop Illinois but none more so than Brooke Rivers. Brooke Rivers is a single mother who battles between head and heart for a man who is about to break her heart, again. Brooke has struggled in the years since Grayson left for something more, a struggle that continues with the possibility of breaking her heart, all over again.

The relationship between Grayson and Brooke is a second chance romance; a rekindling romance in which our couple never stopped wanting one another but life, death and children sent them in different directions, coming full circle with the realization that Bluetop Illinois may be where they begin anew. The $ex scenes are intimate passionate and seductive without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

We are introduced to Grayson’s brothers Knox and Bennett, as well as their sister Lucy; Brooke’s three year old daughter Rosie, and Brooke’s friend and salon owner Kelsey. Bennett and Kelsey’s story line is next in SOMETHING MORE.

SOMETHING RIGHT is a story of second chances; heart break and forgiveness, acceptance and love. The premise is captivating and engaging- the twist was easily deduced; the romance is impassioned and intense; the characters are energetic, colorful and animated.

3.5 Stars
I enjoyed the concept of this story very much. Grayson’s father has recently died and he’s been left as guardian to his 16 year old sister.
I loved the dynamics between Grayson and Brooke. And him with his sister and him and Rosie. Some very sweet moments.
I just felt a few parts were dragged out and could have been omitted.

This is my first story by this author and I will give her another chance.

This is my second book by E. H. Lyon and I really enjoyed it, the plot kept taking me until it left me intrigued even though I knew it was a second chance between school sweet hearts
.
Grayson is forced to return to his hometown after his father's death to care for his sixteen-year-old sister and the family business alongside his two other brothers. Having dedicated the last twelve years of his life to his job in the big city, he has no idea how to raise a teenager or deal with college moms demanding bake goods.
.
Luckily her neighbor may have the solution to that problem and the missing piece in her life since the last time they saw each other four years ago.
.
Brooke has another idea in mind, to reunite with her sweetheart and clear the air to move on with her life. As soon as they share the same space again, the air becomes difficult to clean with the energy attracting them like a magnet. But Brooke is not the same girl she left behind, and with a young daughter to care for, things can get more complicated than they seem at first.
.
Despite the clear outcome, I really enjoyed the road to it and how it was taking shape, a very good and entertaining read that left me wanting to continue in Bluetop reading about the Blisswood brothers
.
Thanks to E. H. Lyon and Victory Editing for give me this great book in exchange for my honest opinion I really enjoyed reading it

I absolutely loved this romantic love story about Brooke and Grayson. Teenage sweethearts whose love is reignited when Grayson moves back home after the death of his father to look after his sister Lucy. Brooke now lives next door with her daughter Rosie who capture’s Grayson’s heart. All the characters were really likeable and, even though it was a little predictable, it was so nice to read a book that didn’t have any over the top dramatics but was just a good old romance. Will let definitely be looking for more by this author. Thank you so much to Victory Editing Netgalley Co-op for the ARC.

This was my first experience reading Ms. Lyon's work and I found Something Right quite the enjoyable read. In this first book in the Blisswood Brothers series, we're introduced to the 3 brothers who own a winery, farm and what sounds like an enchanting B&B. This is Grayson & Brooke's second chance at love with a few surprises thrown in along the way -- big surprises! I loved the small town feel of this read, along with the gossiping that goes hand-in-hand in small towns where everyone knows everyone and everything -- some of those moments are downright hilarious. This was a quick, enjoyable read and I look forward to reading Bennett's story in Something More, the 2nd book in this series. I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC for NetGalley.

Brooke and Grayson were high school sweethearts. They ended up going separate ways when Grayson graduated high school. Grayson wanted to leave his small hometown and work in the city as an architect. Every time he would come and visit his family and their business he would run into Brooke and they always fell back to where they were in high school. A few weeks after having been with Grayson, Brooke finds out she is pregnant and the measurements of the child make it to where it isn’t Grayson’s baby. She call Grayson to let him know about her being pregnant and how the baby isn’t his. This crushes him since he was very close to trying to make a relationship work between the. A few years later he is back at his home and raising his teenage sister since their father passed away. Grayson is now nextdoor neighbors to Brooke and her adorable daughter. Will they be able to pick up the pieces and build a relationship that will last? I was given a copy of this book for an honest review.

Fun romantic read, great for the weekend getaway or beach read - no real surprises but enjoyable romantic tale that fulfills the whole "escapist' mindset you're looking for.

Such a cute story, with a great balance of steam and sweet! It was so easy to invest in Brooke and Grayson's 2nd chance romance... so much that I wanted to throw my kindle a few times.
Glorious, glorious tension. There were plenty of opportunities for E.H. Lyon to take things over the top, but the characters, background, and setting stayed realistic. I adored this book every step on the characters' journey.

LOVED:
* The Blisswood Brothers... swoooooon... I'll be reading the whole series, thank you very much
* The small town gossiping... Sally-Anne sounds like a hoot!
* Lucy and how she can be both vulnerable, and put her brother in his place

WOULD HAVE LOVED:
* I wouldn't change a thing... and I hope to get glimpses of Brooke, Grayson, Rosie, and Lucy as we travel into the next story... which I'm very much excited to read!

Thank you to the Netgalley and E.H. Lyon for the advanced reader's copy in exchange for my review. This is my honest review.

4 1/2 Stars for this second chance romance!

This is the first book that I have read by this author and it won't be my last. I loved Brooke and Grayson and rooted for them to have their happily-ever-after. I also love it when there are kids in a book and Rosie is just a little cutie! This is a very steamy romance that had me laughing one minute and my heart breaking the next.

At first, I thought that Grayson was a little self-centered because when he left for college, he didn't include Brooke in his dream future even though they had been dating for a couple of years. But then he (temporarily) gave the city life up so that he could be his younger sister's guardian when his dad passed away ... so, he redeemed himself lol. I thought that Brooke should have made Grayson work much harder to win her back and maybe even make him jealous in the process.

The banter between the characters is very realistic and the author set up the rest of the series very nicely. I can't wait for Bennet's book which is next. A fantastic start to the series!

I received a copy courtesy of the author through NetGalley in exchange for a honest review.
