Loved the setting for this cozy mystery, how thoughtfully it was written and how it was based in part on the author’s experiences.

"The Tuesday Night Survivors' Club" was a fun book to read. It is the first in the series. Rarity Cole is the main character who has just opened her new book store

Such a delightful book. The characters are so typical of retired seniors joining together using their years of life experience to solve a crime. They are very organized. They have formed their club and have a plan. No time wasted. I love the reaction of the police officers. They find the group amusing but are slightly annoyed that these seniors are doing a job they should be doing. In the end, it is all a lot of fun. I understand there may be a TV series and I think that would be great. In the meantime, I am waiting for the next installment of this groups adventures.

f you like cozy mysteries this one is OK. For me, it had too many pitfalls of the genre. The main character, Rarity, is painfully boring. She doesn't have much of a personality outside of surviving cancer. I kind of wish the books centered on her friend Sam, who has a little more sass. The book starts off soon after Rarity moves to Sedona. I think the book would have been better if she and the book club had been long established. I didn't feel like the club had much of a point. They only meet a few times and I didn't feel like we got to know any of the members.

Rarity recently moved to Sedona and opened a bookstore and started a cancer survivors book club. Rarity a survivor of breast cancer is looking to build a community in her new city and starts a weekly book club. Soon after starting one of the members goes missing and eventually is found dead. The book club concerned about finding Margret’s killer starts theorizing on their own.

This was a cute cozy mystery but felt a little off balance at times as it seemed like to much was going on within a short novel. The characters were interesting and perspective of cancers survivors was appreciated it felt like there was not enough time to explore that dynamic along with the mystery itself. I will say I enjoyed the writing and want to pick up more from this author in the future. I may continue with this series but personally the cancer topic is a little heavy for me at times.

I listened to the audiobook of this novel and enjoyed it the narrator was clear and easy to understand. A few of the voices were a tad annoying but felt like she was trying to embody the character. I would like to thank NetGalley and the publishers for a chance to read this book for an honest review.

The first book in the Survivors' Club Mystery Series is filled with a good group of personalities who make up the cancer survivors' book discussion group that meets each Tuesday evening at Rarity's newly opened book store in Sedona, Arizona. When a club member is found dead, the group of readers switch gears to become amateur sleuths wanting to solve the crime. Their discussions move from novels to evidence. While the guilty party is easy to spot early on, the likeable characters make not only book one, but the entire series, a good read.

Fun cozy with the twist of a group being involved in solving the murder instead of just one person, though Rarity, the bookstore own is the main character and lead in solving the case. I liked that her friend Sam is also pretty involved and didn't focus just on Rarity.

As with many such series, the first book started off a little hesitant. I found the concept intriguing. Having a book club of women who have or are undergoing treatment for cancer.
Our lead protagonist has an idea in her mind, and she struggles with letting go of the particular image she has of how the group has to go. that felt new. Usually, a lead character is bubbly and good from almost all angles. Here we have someone who has worked hard to reach the place she has but is struggling with the lack of control in other plans that she thinks of. It is not necessarily a focal point, but it was something that struck me.
In this book club, people are starting to trickle in, but not all of them are equally welcome. This is the foundation book where everyone is getting to feel their way around, and we are unsure as to who will be in the core group for the following books. One of the more disagreeable ladies is found dead, and they start to become an investigation club. This is not entirely safe for all involved, but they persevere. The conversations do dwell on the support of the women who are undergoing treatment and that is pretty obvious from the blurb itself.
The mystery had a decent plot, and I moved on to the second quite quickly from that. I am not a very big fan of the style of communication in this book, but I think fans of this genre will like it.
I received an ARC thanks to NetGalley and the publishers but the review is entirely based on my own reading experience

This was just an OK cozy mystery read. Rarity, a breast cancer survivor, has moved to Sedona, Arizona to start over and open a book store. She decides to start a Book Club for Cancer Survivors. When one of the members is murdered they also become a sleuth club. I liked the book store/book club background. The members of the club were interesting but they were not really developed. The mystery was not interesting and there were not a lot of suspects. For such a short book I wish more space was given to the characters and the mystery instead of her pool. It was a quick read.

If you're looking for a cozy mystery that celebrates ladies who have some life experience, this will fill the bill. I picked it up because it's set in Sedona and I'll be heading there for a family trip soon and was hoping for some atmosphere. It didn't really give me that. But I do appreciate the author taking her experience surviving cancer and using it to create a book series.

The writing was just a little awkward, that's all.

I LOVED this book. I sincerely hope this becomes a series because I loved every character. I was worried because the c word is a sensitive topic for me but this was not a sad c word book. They were strong characters.

The Tuesday Night Survivor's Club is a great mix of mystery, friendship and a dash of romance. With this cozy you get strong females, murder, a book club, small town vibes and a sweet, cuddly Yorkie named Killer 😂

This was such a fun cozy and I enjoyed the way it played out. I especially love how personal to the author this was. I will definitely be continuing with this series and I highly recommend for cozy mystery fans.
