I also recommend colorful highlighter markers and pens to take notes and a box of tissues because it is going to get real and deep and beautiful!

When I heard she was writing a book about trusting God, I knew it belonged on my to-read list. I joined the launch team and have loved being included in the exciting process of introducing a new book to readers.

I had high expectations for Embracing God but my expectations were far exceeded!

I wish I could just say a specific part of the book spoke to me but the trust journey, the personal stories so spoke to me. The entire book was truly a lesson,reminder of how to trust God in the midst of all that we encounter. When things don't go as planned Joanna has an example to connect you to see that even in the No the Lord is there. It is so like having that girlfriend to sit and agree with you but direct you to scriptures to help navigate the stuff that just don't make sense. Going through a grief period and seeing that even the loss of loved ones was not my plans being able to trust the timing was even not being able to understand why. It was indeed a friend leading you by the hand back to the Father. I would recommend to a newbie or some one walking with the Lord a long time. If you can learn to Trust Him you can make it. Joanna teaches you how to recognize who Jesus is, respond to His word and how to empower you to want to get grow your faith and share with others. Loved it

Joanna Weaver has outdone herself again, this is my 4th book of hers that I have read and by far this would be my most favorite. With each page that I read, it both stirred and convicted me of where I have placed my trust. This book is full of so much life application and reflection. I plan to read this book again and again, I believe each season of life we go through we are confronted with our trust and where we place it. For years I have thought of Proverbs 3:5-6 as my life verse, Joanna used this verse as a theme throughout the book and unpacked it for a greater understanding for me! I appreciate the love and care Joanna has poured out with each page. She gives us a view into her life and walk with the Lord and encourages each of us in our walks as well.

Embracing Trust would be a great book for your next bible study group, it comes with a study guide that can easily be implemented with your small group.

Joanna Weaver's latest book has arrived at a time when it seems more than ever we no longer know who to trust. I was reminded time and again that God's the One in control. As Weaver writes, "...God's sovereignty is always weighted in our favor." She reminds us that God "...is working on our behalf" -- always! I love her gentle reminder that we aren't called to live politically or fearfully, but Biblically, as followers of Christ.

I definitely recommend Embracing Trust. It's a tight hug of book that reminds me to keep my eye on Jesus.

I'm still reading and absorbing this book. It's one of those books that grip the head and the heart. Joanna Weaver's book, Embracing Trust is a beautiful illustration of an almost lifelong journey taken to fully realize the, "already and not yet," truth of the Kingdom life we are called to live.

Joanna shows us that in seeking first the Kingdom of God we have to learn how to let go of our own kingdom, and grasp hold of the goodness of our forever faithful God.

I love all of Joanna Weaver's books, but this one is now my favorite. It will be one I will keep on my shelf to refer to again and again.
If you wonder what it looks like to fully trust God, to be fully loved by a good and gracious God, let this book be the light that illuminates your path...back to God and His Word.

This is a book that speaks to your heart and touches your soul. We say we trust God …but do we really deep down? It helps you evaluate your relationship with God and how to believe and truly trust him in all that you do! It has helped me deepen my relationship with God and truly believe that “He is who He says He is”! It is a beautiful faith building experience. I can’t wait to read this book again with my small group!
