This is a fast paced, quick read, book. Had a little mystery, little action and of course romance.
Lori worked for a PI firm, and when the owner is found dead, she confronts his son, Neil about the possibility that his dad's death was murder. When they begin investigating, Lori finds herself in danger more than once. Through it all, Neil and Lori grow closer, but past hurts for them both may stand in the way of their future together.
I enjoyed the book, loved the characters. I especially loved how strong and resilient Lori was. Their romance developed a little quick for my taste, but overall great read.

The banter was AMAZING and the spice was just right. I'm always a sucker for fake dating as well as military related books. The FMC was able to butt heads with the love interest and did it without coming off too strong. The length was perfect mix of a short read and a full 3dayish read. I thoroughly enjoyed it and will definitely be reading more of this author.
