Good book with a nice plot twist that keeps you guessing. The story was well done and I really enjoyed all of it.

Unfortunately, I have been locked out of my netgalley account for a few months and was not able to see which books I had on my list, in order to properly read and review. I do apologize and am doing a 3 for neutral. Will update once I’m able to obtain a copy and read!

This book started out kind of slow but quickly took off. The plot is set in a wealthy area of Brighton where everyone seems to be happy until one resident is nearly murdered. The victim turns out to have kept a record of all the residents who lived there, after that is revealed everyone's secrets start to be revealed. The story is told from four main characters: Rae, Lilly, Priscilla, and Bryony. The first half of the book was good and the second half was even better. The ending was great also. Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the advanced reader copy.

Acacia Villas has a delightful, and disturbing, group of people living in an upper middle class enclave in Brighton, a popular seaside resort in England. This is my first novel by Dorothy Koomson and I don’t know how I have missed her before. She writes exactly the novels I love: unreliable narrators, different timelines, fully realized characters you can see, hear and feel, along with a sly sense of humour and twists galore. Loved it and just ordered another book.

A great domestic thriller with one of my favorite themes, neighborhood secrets. I am a sucker for unlikable characters, and this book is filled with some doozies.. The plot is complex and jam packed with twists and turns.

Thank you to Negalley and Mobius Books for the online ARC. Well this book was a ride with each person having reason to hurt Priscilla. I think it was just the right amount of dark and just the right amount of mystery. Awesome read

Unfortunately the copy of this ebook was horrible. I couldn’t follow it or read because it wasn’t in book format. It was literally words ran together.

Nothing against the book because I couldn’t even finish it (or start). These solely on the ebook format.

Thank you for letting me have a copy!

Thank you Netgalley & Hachette Book Groups for an eARC of I Know What You've Done by Dorothy Koomson. I hadn't heard of this author prior to seeing this book on Netgalley, but as soon as I read the synopsis, I knew it was right up my alley.

A true psychological thriller - How much do you know your neighbors - One of my FAVORITE thriller tropes. Someone in this community tried to hurt Priscilla. But who was it, and why? This one makes the book bingeable with multiple POVs, short chapters and entries from Priscilla's diary that uncovers pieces of the puzzle as you're trying to do the same.

I Know What You’ve Done
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Genre: Thriller
Format: Kindle eBook
Date Published: 4/26/22
Author: Dorothy Koomson
Publisher: Headline
Pages: 299
Goodreads Rating: 3.92

Thank you to NetGalley and Headline for providing a copy of the book for me to read in exchange for my honest opinion.

Synopsis: What if all your neighbours' secrets landed in a diary on your doorstep? What if the woman who gave it to you was murdered by one of the people in the diary? What if the police asked if you knew anything? Would you hand over the book of secrets? Or ... would you try to find out what everyone had done? I Know What You've Done is the unputdownable thriller from the Queen of the Big Reveal.

My Thoughts: The chapters are labeled by the person and dates of residence. The story is narrated by multiple characters from their POV. The character development is outstanding, you really get to know them and understand them. There were a few of the characters that I did not like, which is typical of thriller and really worked well for this story. Sometimes I got them mixed up so I had to write them down to keep them straight, the only potential draw back. The writer does an amazing job of building suspense, outlining the plot, and drawing to a conclusion that I did not see coming. I really like this author’s writing style, it is just captivating and engaging. The storyline is brilliant and I recommend buying this book if you love thrillers like I do. And the front cover is phenomenal.

Thank you to NetGalley for an ARC of I Know What You've Done.

This is a formulaic story about a small neighborhood and the secrets everyone keeps.

When Priscilla, a nosy neighbor, is attacked, three women, Lilly, Bryon, and Rae, fear they will be implicated in Priscilla's assault.

Priscilla knows seccrreettts about each of the women and all three of them will do anything to keep their secrets...secret.

I read a lot of mysteries...I mean, a lot. 99% of the books I read are thrillers/mysteries so this was not full of twists.

I called each twist before it happened.

The narrative was told through the POVs of the three women, and though it wasn't confusing, I found the narrative predictable.

The flashbacks didn't help, the formatting was poor on my Kindle so suddenly it was the past without a decent segue from present to past.

Most of the characters was unlikable; Lilly needs to talk to a mental health professional; Byron is a cliche, Clark and Dunstan, were, naturally, hot and handsome, because there are so many handsome and attractive men in these books.

The shenanigans people were up to were so cliche. I knew what everyone was hiding and what they were doing as they were doing it, mostly because the author told us what each person was doing.

The writing was okay, but it was repetitive, especially when the author described Clark and Dunstan. She obviously has a thing for guys with full lips.

This was not for me but I'm grateful for the opportunity to read it early.

Dorothy Koomson has long been a favorite author of mine ever since I read “Goodnight Sweetheart”, that book haunted me for days, in a good way, so I was excited to receive a copy of her latest book.

“I Know What You’ve Done” is in the genre that Ms Kooman seems to be leaning more towards, more psychological thriller than domestic drama, but her writing is still wonderful, The book starts with Priscilla and a cryptic message that she knows who is gonna kill her and why, just not when. Then the next scene she shows up to her neighbor Rea’s house disheveled and having been attacked. She makes wild statements drops her diary and leaves, only to collapse in the neighbor’s yard. Thus begins the investigation into who attacked her and the secrets that all the neighbors are keeping in Acacia Villas, secrets that someone obviously does not want released. The book is told in different viewpoints which can make it hard to keep up, but I found it fairly easy once I got all the characters down. I enjoyed this book and would recommend it to fans of Lisa Jewell and Ruth Ware.

Thanks to Netgalley, Hachette book group, Mobius, and the author for the chance to read and review this book.

First off, lets admire this cover. Its absolutely "eye catching" and had me eager and excited about what was inside without even having to read the synopsis.

I will tell you that this is a book that you will not fly through and you do need to pay attention. There are A LOT of characters and at times I found myself having to go back and reread the chapter I left off on in order to catch up and refresh my memory on who is who.

However, this did not take away from the storyline. I thoroughly enjoyed this book from start to finish and I appreciated the fact that it made me slow down and pay attention. A lot of times when we read as much as we all do, we zip through books and move on to the next without pause that we easily forget what we sometimes I have read. This book slowed me down enough to make me really appreciate what is what that I was reading and I loved that!

This is a very detailed story with many unforeseen twists. I believe this will captivate a large audience as long as they are aware that they have to pay attention!

Dorothy Koomson is a unique author that has a talent for story telling, I am eager to see what she will come out with next !

I know What You've Done by Dorothy Koomson is the first book I have read by this author and not my last. Acacia Villas an Upscale neighborhood that carries many secrets. One of the neighbors, Priscilla knows everyone's secrets and writes them in her diary. Then she is attacked. Who attacked Priscilla? All the neighbors had a reason to kill her. Priscilla shows up after the attack to Rae, she states whoever tried to kill her is in the diary. If Rae turns it into the police then his and all the neighbors secrets will be exposed. .I enjoyed this book with a shocking conclusion that I didn't guess. I will read more of her books.

I Know What You've Done by Dorothy Koomson reminded a little bit of another book I read because of the setting. It was engaging and kept me guessing. I never saw the ending coming, and I have to say I was a bit upset by it. With that being said, I will definitely read other books by this author.

Happy Pub Day! 🎉 Dark and twisty “whodunnit”! This is a clever story filled with one victim who has kept a diary on her neighbors who all have reason to see her dead and the author does a fantastic job revealing each characters thoughts and actions. This is a fun thriller although TW for domestic violence.

Thank you Netgalley, Hatchette Book Group, Möbius and the author for this eARC in exchange for my honest review.
