I Know What You've Done by Dorothy Koomson is the first book of hers I have read. I was fascinated with the story and the characters.

Acacia Villas an upscale suburban neighborhood that has a lot of secrets. Priscilla knows them all and keeps them in a diary. Then she is attacked. Who did it? Everyone in the neighborhood had a reason to kill her. She shows up on Rae’s doorstep after being attacked and shoves the diary in Rae’s hands telling her the person who tried to kill her is in there. Does Rae read it or turn it over to the police? She knows there are things in there about her husband. If she turns it over she may never find out what he’s been up to. If she doesn’t turn it over she could be charged and arrested.

The story is told from multiple POV’s and timelines. A bit confusing but I think the best way to be able to delve into the mind of each neighbor.

Koomson wrote a great psychological thriller that was hard to put down. I am looking forward to reading more of her books. If you like psychological thrillers this book is for you.

Thank you NetGalley and Hachette Book Group, Mobius for the copy of I Know What You’ve Done. This book was slow paced but the end was really good so I’m glad I finished it. I just wish it had been an easier read. The book was told in multiple POVs and often the same POV was divided into seemingly random time periods. The different time periods were supposed to inform what was going on in the present, but all they did was add confusion for the most part and made it hard to understand the timeline. The characters all spoke in the same ‘voice’ so it was hard to keep track of who was who and what they were accused of doing. We never get to know the characters in depth but from what I did know I didn’t relate to or like any of them. Sex scenes were thrown in haphazardly and added nothing to the story. 2.5 stars rounded up to three because the story had potential and I wasn’t expecting the ending.

I discovered Koomson a few years ago and had to buy her books used since they were coming over from the UK. This one did not disappoint. Another thriller that keeps you guessing and interested until the end.

This one fell completely flat for me. It was a cliche to begin with but it also crept so dang slow I was so bored. The writing style really grated my nerves as well.

DNF at 30%. There were so many characters and the depiction of domestic violence was a real turn off for me. I feel like I’ve read this story a million times and this one was nowhere near as good as some of the others.

Pricilla hands her neighbor her personal diary moments before she was murdered, twice. All the people in the neighborhood have secrets and they are written down in this diary. Each of them have motive to want Pricilla dead. Told from multiple POV’s you get each character’s perspective and how they are all connected.

Know What You've Done had a very strong suspenseful beginning that pulled me in immediately. I will give it kudos for not starting with drama first like many domestic thrillers do. However the pace lagged too much for my taste. I do not think that utilizing a style that relied heavily on diary entries really worked for this story. I wound up not being able to finish the book because it started to feel boring after awhile, and when I read a book like this I should minimally find it compelling.

A wild, fast- paced domestic thriller with twists and turns one should throughly enjoy.

I really enjoyed this book! I love the wealthy suburban neighborhood setting. I’m usually not a huge fan of alternating narrators but this was done so well! The secrets, the lies, I was flipping through the pages to find out who did it! And I def did not see that ending coming!

I Know What You've Done is a very entertaining, domestic thriller. Priscilla is attacked in her posh neighborhood and writes in her diary that she knew who was planning to attack her and why, but she didn't know exactly when. The book then alternates POV chapters between several of Priscilla's neighbors. There are definitely characters I liked more than others, but overall, I found that all of the chapters kept my attention. There are a few flashback chapters as well, which was a bit confusing at the start, but overall, I found the book to be well-paced. There were also quite a few parts that made me laugh out loud, particularly Priscilla's diary excerpts. I will definitely recommend I Know What You've Done to anyone looking for an enjoyable and entertaining mystery.

This was a very good, fast paced domestic thriller. The plot was definitely interesting. I loved the short chapters and the fact that each chapter focused on a different character. I also enjoyed the characters and their back stories. There were twists and turns, suspense, as well as an unpredictable ending that I didn’t see coming. This was my first time reading this author and I liked her writing style. This was a total binge-worthy book! I’ll definitely be looking for more of her books.

After being attacked in her home, Priscilla goes over to Rae's house with her Diary of Secrets and says that the person who attacked her will be in that book. As the police investigate the attack, Rae keeps the book and learns all the secrets of the neighbors. It seems, most everyone has something to hide, and anyone in that book could be the culprit for attacking Priscilla.

I have not read this author before, but this book was so boring that I don't know that I would ever read another book by this author again. I do realize that she is a bestselling author, and she is called the Queen of the Big Reveal, but this book was a hot mess.

The writing was so boring, I had to force myself to stay awake to read it, and I have to force myself to finish it. There is useless description - such as the dogs going upstairs - that does not advance the plot of the book at all. It was if the author had a word quota and so she just put words there to fill it. On the other hand, I had no idea Rae was a black woman until well into the book! Would have been nice to have a better description of the characters! Speaking of characters, there were so many characters to follow that it was easy to get them confused at first. It also meant that there was no real character development. All of them just fell flat, and I actually hated every single character in the book. None of them had any redeeming qualities.

I also don't understand why anyone would think that this book is filled with tons of twists - the author blatantly writes what is going on - there is one twist/reveal and that is the very end of the book. Otherwise, I thought everything else was predictable and instead of little breadcrumbs for a twist, the author left huge ones to the point that when the "twist" was supposed to happen, you're left thinking "but I knew that already."

If you like her other books, then maybe this is for you. If that's the case, you can find it here.

A nosybody neighbor in an exclusive cul de sac neighborhood keeps a diary of her neighbor's goings-ons. Shortly before collapsing from attempted murder, she hands the book of to a neighbor who can't help but take a peek inside instead of immediately turning it over to the police. The story is told through the viewpoint of several characters as well as the diary entries and is a juicy, addictive read to find out the depth of everyone's secrets and who tried to kill the neighbor.

Priscilla, an aloof woman in the neighborhood is attacked and she knocks on Rae’s door with a diary of all of the nefarious goings on in the neighborhood before losing consciousness and falling into a coma. Multiple people in the neighborhood are under suspicion for the crime.

This was the first bookI have read from this author in awhile. The books I had read were more women’s fiction, which is not my typical genre, but this author is talented enough to make those books worthwhile. As far as thrillers go, I am glad to see her venture into this territory, and the book did hold my interest. I didn’t see the end coming but wasn’t totally wowed with it which it was a 4 instead of a 5z star. I don’t think I had enough clarity on how things actually transpired, but I am glad this author is writing thrillers now and will read the next one.

I thought I Know What You've Done jumped off to a great start.
The pace was great and the storytelling kept me intrigued to continue.
I loved the twist and turns that transpired
The characters and their story are vividly told, in great detail.
Getting the character's different perspectives and able get inside their heads, seeing how this story played out was also fun.
I wish it was a bit more thrilling. In my honest opinion I wouldn't consider this book a thriller.
Overall, a quick, easy, fun, mystery. I did enjoy it and I would highly recommend this to other mystery lover's.

So I read this book pretty quickly. There was a lot of suspense, twist and thrills that I didn't see coming. Kind of like an action movie, you know its coming but not sure when to except it. This book grabbed me and hooked me in. Really enjoyed the ride!

More twisty than I expected, I appreciate netgalley UK introducing me to this new-to-me author. The neighborhood and the characters within it feel authentic, and I definitely did not see the ending coming. I’m very pleasurable four-star thriller
