Great book with colourful photos. Can find good ideas for small gardens. This book is mostly for beginners.
it is hard to review sth if I get approved on the 12 and it gets archived on the same day :( please bear that in mind next time!
A brilliant book full of colour and inspo for the smaller gardens or gardens in the city or with limited space, this book was an absolute treasure.
There are lots of space options for all the different types of garden spaces out there, coupled with some brilliant ideas and a good variety of photos sprinkled throughout the pages, Though there is a lot of text I did really enjoy the smaller sections and will be able to decant the knowledge here into a condensed version for myself, hopefully.
Thanks to Netgalley for the FREE ARC in return for my review.
I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own. (via Netgalley)
This was an interesting and fun read that gave a lot of options for various types of spaces.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of The Urban Garden. All thoughts and opinions are my own. Thank you to Netgalley and Quarto Publishing Group for providing an ARC to review.
The Urban Garden is one of my favorite Gardening books. Not only does it give ideas that would apply to my urban lifestyle, but they give easy ideas on how to achieve the look. For someone who doesn't have a green thumb, these projects felt very doable. I'm excited to try some of their ideas this spring.
IFull of inspiring information and practical garden planning, this is a book for every gardener, beginner or experienced. Beautiful photographs too.
This is a beautiful gardening book brimming with inspiration. There's lots of good information in here, though I wish it utilized things like lists more instead of just lots of text. The multitude of photos more than makes up for that, though, and there are lots of good ideas in the text. There's also a huge variety of inspiration for ways to garden in the city -- lots of hacks, different ideas, tips, you name it. This is a really lovely and educational book.
I read a temporary digital ARC of this book for review.
This book is full of ideas, inspiration, and information.
I have to say, the text and info was a bit dense at times, however the photography in this book is absolutely stunning! Even if you just buy the book for the images, you will not be disappointed.
The information in the book was a bit much at times, but there were the odd section that would stand out.
Overall, I enjoyed this book but I did want more!
I received this book from the publisher through Netgalley for review and all thoughts and are my own.
Urban spaces present a challenge for those who enjoy the foliage, floral scented walkways and fresh herbs or vegetables. This book offers a myriad of ways to grow in small urban spaces. Excellent resource for gardening in the city.
