Cube Kid's tales are insanely popular with juvenile and middle-grade readers who are into gaming and Minecraft. For any teacher or librarian struggling to get the gamer kids to read, these cute and funny stories are a great addition to their collections.

Me: You listened to those 8 Bit Kitten audiobooks, yeah?

Kid: Uh huh.

Me: What'd you think?

Kid: I loved it!

Me: What'd you love about it? Like, what do you think made the story good?

Kid: I really like how it describes the characters so well and how the story is falling into place perfectly. Also, there's some nice humor in the book that I think is pretty funny - especially when this guy is singing to all his Nether friends to help them get back to the Nether because they can't see in the sun and the guy has a helmet, so he can actually see. And after enough reading, you will find out some big things that uncover some secrets that you may not have known before!

Me: Cool. What'd you think about the narrator?

Kid: The narration was nice. I liked the fact that it would change the tone of the voice to fit in with the characters. Not too much, not too little.

Me: Who would you recommend this book to?

Kid: I would recommend this book for kids and people who like Minecraft. Kids who like Minecraft, basically.

Me: Anything else you'd like to add?

Kid: Nothing, other than I think it deserves five stars.

This was a fun audio book to listen too. I was also impressed by the narrator's voice acting.

I downloaded this collection for my daughter who is an ardent Minecraft fan and reader. She had not experienced audiobooks before, and found this to be a fun way to take in stories.

I listened to part but not all of it independently of her, and found the narration to be well done and the tone and pacing to be both appropriate and entertaining for her age group (she is almost 9). She really enjoyed the characterizations and felt that the stories tracked well with the game and other media / multimedia experiences she has had in the Minecraft world.

It was a fun series and she's definitely interested in looking into more books!

I did this book for my son, so he could have something to enjoy. He loved it. We enjoyed it together during our family nights.

This book is really cute and the narration of the audiobook is excellent. I downloaded this for my 7-year-old daughter who is obsessed with Minecraft and cats, and she loved it so much! It was a really fun way for the two of us to connect over Minecraft without me actually having to play the game with her (I'm not a fan of video games myself). My daughter was enthralled in the story and all the adventures that the kitten goes on. She also enjoyed having a new take on some of the "bad guys" in Minecraft who turn out to be not so bad in the book!
Highly recommend this for kids who love Minecraft and parents who are looking for a way to connect with their kids.

My son and I listened to this gem and he really enjoyed the voices and the story. He’s dyslexic and gets frustrated by the stories he’s able to read because they’re too simple. This audiobook helped him discover his love of audiobooks.

I can see kids enjoying Cube Kid's series taking place in Mindcraftia. Sadly listening to this in 2022 and as an adult, it seemed pretty dated. It was cute though.

My son loved Minecraft so I knew this would be the perfect book set for him. He loved it!! We listened to the audio version and enjoyed the narrator thoroughly. My son was completely invested from the very first few chapters. Great choice for Minecraft loving kids!

Oh.. Although this is book offering fable about adventure of kitten, but not lack of fun. For year my son love playing Minecraft and I am sure he will like this cute story.
This story capable to make a good highlight about friendship, consequences of decisions and adventures.
